Baja steak salad with violently overcooked steak.

For the money, this may very well be the worst restaurant in Boca. I arrived for my 5:30 reservation to an almost empty dining room. Only two other tables seated. It still took them nearly 5 minutes to greet and seat us. I immediately put in an order off the kid's menu, a chicken schnitzel and French fries, and asked for that to be brought out as soon as it was ready. That was around 5:40pm. Keep in mind there's no complimentary bread or anything else. About 10 minutes later, I ordered the Baja steak salad. What showed up, a good 10 minutes before the schnitzel, was 4 or 5 cubes of steak mixed with a blend of guacamole and some sort of "crema" that our server couldn't even tell us what it was made of. And along with those little cubes was a strip of shoe leather. One side was completely hammered beyond recognition. Finally, almost 45 minutes and 3 follow ups after ordering the expedited kid's meal, the schnitzel arrived. Once again, absolutely hammered and tough to the touch. I couldn't even get my toddler to eat it or the fries with ketchup. And ketchup fixes everything for toddlers. At that point, I had to leave to find my kid some food. The rest of my party had no choice but to stay behind and await their fates. It had been an hour with no food, but I expect that is better than what they might eventually get. The prices are absurd, and somehow the food and service are truly dreadful. There might not be a worse restaurant at this price point in all of South Florida. Steer clear. Go literally anywhere else. Or just go on a hunger strike. This place is *bad*.

Best Makers Mark Manhattan delivered by Steve our fun, well informed, and very professional Server. Good service really ups the ante on a great meal. Ordered the crusted lamb chops and Steve had them lollipopped for me. They were awesome and when you added the Chimmichuri sauce were outrageous. Be sure you order something that goes with their mashed potatoes. Don't miss them. Wife had lobster tacos, friends had the filet mignon and sole and were equally happy. Chocolate lava cake with ice cream was a nice bonus for cleaning our plates. Staff is very pleasant, atmosphere enjoyable, and $15 valet works. As far as what we ate, we were all very happy. We had 1/2 dozen oysters, shrimp cocktail, bone-in ribeye steak cooked to perfection, 19 oz. filet mignon, sole fish, baked potato, Mac & cheese, roasted Brussels sprouts, crab and shrimp fried rice. We were all very satisfied and even had doggy bags. This is the best place to celebrate life!

I definitely prefer stopping into a place in the off hours, especially a spot that gets packed. I stopped in last weekend with my daughter as we wanted to kill some time before an appt we had. We have ordered some solid food and tasty apps here but this time was just for a chill beverage. I got a expresso martini which they made quickly and perfectly. she got a French 75 which they made like they made it 10 times a day(which they probably do). That was nice. We also had a salad a wedge I must say totally disappointed lettuce with blue cheese dressing, but no crumbled blue cheese I had to ask for that after all this is a wedge salad next we had oysters and they were very small not happy about that but OK and they were just OK. We then had a rib steak which was good and halibut which was also good. I ordered a baked potato. It came out twice with brown spots inside and overcooked after the second time I said, forget about it unfortunately, this was not the way I really wanted to enjoy my meal on a Saturday night, especially an expensive meal, !!and especially it was a special occasion extremely loud restaurant very difficult to hear each other talk not sure when I'll be returning. Just an afterthought, I was in New York at Gallagher's. Everything went very smoothly. My reservation was met exactly at 7 PM as I arrived and everything came out like it was supposed to even that it was crowded. They made sure that every customer felt important. I did not feel that way in this restaurant

There was valet a lot of free parking in front of the restaurant. This was a real happening, the restaurant was packed on a Saturday night. I'm glad our reservation was honored and we only waited for about five minutes. The restaurant was noisy, but fortunately the tables were spaced so we were not on top of each other. In 1971 J. Alexander opened in Nashville, Tennessee. There are 44 restaurants, mostly in the south, with 2,700 employees. They are considered a casual American food chain offering gift cards & VIP membership. Friends love their salads and with seven choices some with shrimp Louie or Asian tuna, what could be bad? The sandwiches, soups, burgers, sandwiches, steaks & house specialties look appealing. There is an extensive wine list, with many by the glass along with crafted martinis & cocktails. Joshua waited on us, he was on point. We started by sharing a delicious calamari appetizer that was enough for four of us. The calamari was fresh crispy and tasty. I shared baby back ribs with a huge baked potato and delicious coleslaw with my husband, it was more than enough for the two of us. Friends enjoyed their huge salads, they looked very good and they raved about them. The portions were very generous and prices were reasonable for the quality of our meal. I can't wait to go back again. We've got a new favorite local restaurant!

Stanley made sure I felt incredibly special for my birthday, and the team helped us select the perfect bottle of red wine to pair with dinner. The food was absolutely amazing. What makes the steaks here so special are the high broilers they use, creating that perfect crust while seasoning them simply and perfectly with salt, pepper, and butter. My boyfriend's go-to appetizer is the baked shrimp, while I opted for something lighter with the beef carpaccio. For entrées, I ordered the bone-in filet, and we also shared the veal, a 16oz NY strip, and the ribeye -- all cooked to perfection. I couldn't skip my favorite béarnaise sauce. For sides, we went all out: creamed spinach, fettuccine Alfredo, cheesy mashed potatoes, onion rings, potatoes Lyonnaise, and charred Brussels sprouts. Every single one was delicious. The grand finale was their butter cake, which is absolutely my favorite and the perfect way to end the night. What a truly wonderful birthday experience!

How it sits us at a booth directly next to the bar which had been empty since we arrived that 40 minutes earlier. Seriously? Service was good, however, and the food was definitely B or a Level,, in fact, my French Dip sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. My dining partner could barely finish their fish sandwich due to it's sheer size. It is worth mentioning that the menu definitely comes at a price point higher than most chain restaurants. If they can only provide the dining experience without all of the locals who jammed the place and carrying on conversations as loudly as they can, you really have something.
