Good ingredients. Friendly service. The chocolate detox had a nice, light fruity flavor. No chocolate flavor at all. I read so many reviews saying it's good and a treat and yeah it tastes good and healthy but not like a treat. It tastes like apple and banana. The chocolate syrup on the side did taste like chocolate when I scraped some onto my straw, but that's it. read more

Love Mothers but have to say I was really disappointed with the service (attitude) today - you all need to slow down and breathe and smile and not speak explicatives (mother f''er) as my 7yo daughter pointed out that the camo guy with the dreadlocks said because he was mad that he had to totally remake something because they didn't catch that it needed to be dairy free due to a food allergy of one of the customers. The girls were also a bit spicy with their "excuse mes" while rushing to deliver food when there was no where to move while waiting in line for someone to service that doesn't know customer service. The girl with the short hair in two little pig tails twirled up was nice and friendly thankfully she was running the register! Be nice you're in Bend! read more

I have thought about this place ever since my friends and I took a road trip to Oregon. Probably one of the best bagels I've ever had and I've been trying to recreate it ever since and their smoothies were also fantastic!! The cafe is so cute and the cashier was so nice and helpful! read more

Mother's Cafe is a charming little gem--tiny, cute, and perfect for people watching with its great street-side view. I ordered the Pink Lady smoothie and it was absolutely delicious: a refreshing blend of mango, strawberry, peach, and fresh orange juice. Big bonus points for offering free samples beforehand--such a thoughtful touch! I ordered a turkey and cheddar sandwich off the kids' menu since I hate wasting food, but heads up--they enforce the "under 12" rule, which I found out after the food arrived. A little awkward, but the staff was polite about it. Despite the mix-up, the sandwich tasted great and was the perfect portion for me. This place was great! Loved the juice I tried; they make it to order so it's nice and fresh but does take a few to come out. They had a steady stream of walk-in and pick up orders on a Sunday. Wi-Fi available and outlets inside to get some work done if needed which I love. Also saw they offer juice cleanses and provide a lot of wonderful information of what to expect. read more

Quick update since Covid-19 safety measures were implemented. Mother's still rocks! Great social distancing and other precautions (no indoor dining, masks, hand sanitizer, signs and floor markings) in effect. Food and smoothies, service, and outdoor dining still amazing! This time we had the Chocolate Detox and Pink Lady... DELICIOUS! Great little eatery with healthy options. They serve smoothies, juices (including CBD shots), sandwiches, wraps, breakfast bowls, and salads. Grabbed two Açaí Bowls here on a late morning Saturday. We ordered at the counter and our food was brought out to us in a timely manner. Our bowls had good presentation and were tasty. We loved the adorable home-cottage like atmosphere. The restaurant looked like a converted home with eating areas both in the front and rear. Even had a little parking lot out back. Street parking was also available. Service was good and prices were reasonable. Rounding up from a 4.5, this eatery received a 5 for thitype of eatery. read more

Food and drink was pretty good overall but the service was really slow I waited around 15-20 minutes for a to go order which isnt terrible but definitely could have been a lot better I saw people recieving their orders before I ever got mine which was pretty dissapointing to me. read more

They had a fancy avocado toast but asked for a simple one on sourdough. It was smear of avocado and untoasted for $12. Grabbed a cold pressed juice and it wasn't much more flavorful than cucumber water--supposedly made with ginger and lemon and pineapple but never had a more plain tasting "juice". My son had an acai bowl...and he enjoyed it. Smoothies were good. Min tip to select was 20% (and up) without making it custom tip (a little aggressive imo. I'm all about tipping--but starting a 20% minimum? I was so excited to try this place but don't plan to come back. read more

I love this restaurant and come here often but find tipping options of 20/25or 30 to be offensive considering there is no server, have to wait in line and then bus your own table. Can probably pay the employees more and not extort the customer. read more

I do enjoy this place so. The food options are scrumptious. The only downfall of it is the quandary of figuring out which enticing meal to indulge in! I had to rely on my sweet partners help to decide which meal to get! My fav place in Bend to eat a healthy meal and start your day right! I am disabled and order through Doordash. Even though they have Doordash as an option, I can't get my order fulfilled with this place. I think they hate the Dashers because they aren't getting a tip, and make them wait Ive watched, on my phone, several dashers try to pick up my order and remain in the same spot for over 30 minutes and eventually cancelling the order because it took too long. I understand that the drivers aren't paid by the hour and have to make money as well as the rest of us; so it has to be the employees. I wont be ordering from them again. I've tried 25+ times in the last three weeks and I've only ever received one. I wont order from here again. read more

I have booked marked mothers juice cafe while in Los Angeles to give them a try once I get to bend, or. And boy they did not disappoint... first and foremost I am obsessed with the berries here in Oregon and mothers juice definitely pleased me with using the Oregons tasty berries in their oatmeal bowl. This breakfast/brunch spot is super cute with a lot of outdoor seating so you can have a good meal while relaxing with your furbabies. The services was EXCELLENT & the food was so fresh and clean yet so delicious. I am soooo happy I found this cafe and I will definitely eat here again before heading back home to LA. Mother juice... A daily smoothie seems to be in order. Chocolate detox, Little Bear, PBJJ are all popular at our house. Avocado toast was exquisite. The toppings were delicious, the avocado was perfectly ripe and the toast was very crunchy. The Everest Sandwich was tender delicious chicken, good dressing and it was most filling. Rene's roasted chicken is very rich and filling, tender chicken over polenta, with Brussels sprouts, squash, cauliflower and spinach, so healthy too. Loved it and easy to share. There is so much more to try. The staff is excellent: friendly and efficient. Seating outside and inside is comfy. read more

I just discovered I love this place! I get the V lavender smoothie and there's a delicious V GF lemon cake. I have not tried things other than the Buddha bowl. It tastes pretty good but not out of this world amazing. No hate, just not strong enough for my flavor preferences - Active Culture has more flavorful bowls but I need to try more of the menu from Mother's. My review is based on my V GF diet. read more

The chef and owner Kamal came by our table to thank us for coming in and tell us about a jazz club called Cellar 65 they have downstairs where they offer different cuisine experiences throughout the year. Sourdough was so good to dip - mouth is watering writing this. Service th morning we were headed out at 7amish was great also - wife got coffee cake (warmed in their brick oven) and I got two citrus muffins and a sourdough cinnamon roll for later - all were scrumptious and delightful. I would got a half dozen muffins if I knew they were that good before. People were kind and the service is quick. We ate there these two time on $52 dollars - both to-go orders. Set in an old home, this establishment has become one of Bend's favorite restaurants. The menus have range with breakfast by far being my favorite. However, their pizzas are spectacular and I've never had a pastry yet that I didn't really enjoy. They serve coffee from a local roaster called Lone Pine. The staff is always extremely friendly and I have frequently positive interactions with them when I stop by. Prices are reasonable, and the food is very high-quality while also being consistently fresh. Parking can be a challenge at times, but it's always worth the effort. Not to mention a chance for a nice stroll around downtown Bend after my meal... just the perfect end to complement a perfect day here in this lovely place. Thank you Jackson's corner for being a staple in this community and consistently making every meal here a little bit more joyful.

Pretty much no flavor in the gravy so loaded up on the pepper and it was better. I've noticed in Bend the gravy is always served on top of mutant bread lumps known as biscuits instead of on the side. My omelet, the potatoes were very good- for the 1/4 of it I could eat. Lots of stuff jammed in there for sure! White toast and whatever jam they served was not good. Coffee was not good; weak. It is expensive, just like every other sit down breakfast place around here- $50 before tip. I'd say if you like to start your day in a less than serene way you might like this place. I think it's a charming spot that holds a special place in the hearts of the locals here. And that's alright by me.
