Proof of the prices I was sent..

$511.97 to install winch/plow. You dont install a plow. It is taken on and off with ease. Essentially they are charging $511.97 to install a winch and a plow's base plate which is nothing. This does not include the overpriced cost of the winch itself and plow's base plate. $1,023.94 to install the heater in a SXS? Huh? This does not include the price of the heater itself. $1,550 for Freight? Nobody in the US charges that for freight..That means they are charging that much for the shipping of the unit from Kawasaki to the dealership. $400 prep? Business License Fee? $29.57. I researched this online because NJ does not have this. That fee is a their problem not a consumer problem. I still don't understand this. The consumer is paying the dealership's annual fee for them to operate a dealership? For that to fall on the consumer is completely outrageous. I'm surprised the dealership doesn't charge the consumer a fee to assist with paying their property taxes because essentially the Business License Fee is very similar. $695 Doc fee? For them to draw up a sales agreement? What drugs are they taking over there? They weren't even taking care of the motor vehicle paperwork because I would have had to do that on my own in NJ after purchase. I'm sure if they had to do Motor Vehicle paperwork that would have been another fee. When I complained during negotiation they knocked it down to $595. The dealer had a Kawasaki leftover SXS advertised for a really good price on their website. I was willing to drive 5hrs from NJ to Virginia for the deal until I figured out what they do. They discount a unit and beat you over the head on the back end with fees, overpriced accessories and labor fees. Anyone who is willing to pay their document fee, Business License Fee and freight fee alone is crazy. I've bought "many" motorcycles, quads and cars over my time from all over the country. This place is out of control.

Refused to give my $250 deposit back because the card he used ended up being used to buy shoes

Let's start with the head of sales Nathan, he is the reason that dealership get a bad rap. Finds nothing wrong with $1600 in fees for a bike costing $2000. What a clown. $699 document fee? Must be made of gold or takes a week to do.Larry the boss doesn't bother calling a angry customer back. STAY AWAY

2019 Can-Am Spyder F3 limited

My Spyder recently decided to have a transmission failure while I was out for a ride. I had it taken to the Manassas location- since it was a Monday and Purcellville was closed. Manassas was supposed to take it to Purcellville the next day- but had a shortage of vehicles to haul it. I had let them know that I had a planned ride coming up and desperately needed my bike fixed or at least looked at by the weekend. P came down and picked it up for me (estimating that it was around noon on a Wednesday). By 5:30 pm, I got a call that they had not only diagnosed the problem but had fixed it as well!!! All in a span of a couple hours. These guys went above and beyond to fix my bike - I will always go to this location to get my bike serviced and repaired. They have definitely earned a customer for life.

$695.00 for "Document or Administration Fees" ???? 1. Visited their showroom on 10/23/21. Was looking at a specific motorcycle for 15-20 min upstairs. Nobody approached me. I was the only customer in the upstairs showroom. 2. Contacted them via email that evening. I did get a quick initial response but getting the quote I requested took days. 3. $695.00 for "Document or Administration Fees" ???? That was an instant deal breaker. All in all, they are everything that is wrong with dealerships. I am in a position to buy any motorcycle without financing but it doesn't mean I want to entertain greedy practices. I will never buy anything there. Not even an accessory.

Working everything on line, email, and via phone was a great experience. TJ and Holly worked with us diligently in buying our first Can Am a great experience. As a Motomember you will receive 30% off parts for life! We will definitely do business with them again.

I have purchased many bikes, mostly Harleys. I decided it was time for a Trike. From get go this was the easiest and fun purchase. Nicole (sales) and Holly (business office) were incredible I highly recommend them if you are looking for A Can Am. They actually know what they are doing.

2019 Kawasaki Vulcan S Matte Covert Green

Bravo ! Called them up and spoke with the lead sales Todd, who was able to help me with my purchase of a 2019 Kawasaki Vulcan S 650. I was ordering from out of state (PA) and buying a motorcycle for the first time, so I wasn't completely sure on the entire buying process. But let me say now after working with MotoMember, these guys are 100% professional. After we finalized the purchase over the phone, Todd did a full inspection and secured the Kawasaki on its trailer to be delivered from Virginia to Pennsylvania. The two people that personally delivered me the bike were honestly the most friendly people I've ever met (was so excited getting the keys I totally forgot their names, lol). Overall, 10/10 service! Highly recommend MotoMember!!

can't even get to the preload adjustment ring

MotoMember Purcellville VA After months of researching on the Can Am Spyder and watching for the right deal we saw a post for a 2022 Sea to Sky and were thrilled to see the price $25299 with Zero Miles. This was a significant savings. We then saw their advertisement regarding a rebate for a $1000 off 2022 Models we brought this to the attention of the first person we worked with and asked if this would qualify and be applied to our purchase, we were told it would be. We were put in touch with a 2nd sales person as the 1st was going on vacation. Communication was not handed off well from one to the next. This made our First hurdle the rebate we were informed that the $1000 dollars was taken off before the price was posted. (Not sure I trust this explanation Red Flag) This was not properly communicated and I question if this is the case. (Get things in writing). Worried it might sell before we had a chance to pick it up, we paid a $500 deposit and request several small upgrades be done by the dealership. Driver Back Rest, Passenger Armrests, floorboard lights, front fender lights, and an auxiliary running light bar and front Elka Stage 2 Shocks. When we arrived the fender lights had not been finished and we added a riser kit to the handle bars. We met our Second Hurdle when we tried to make our down payment. Due to the fees the dealership has to pay on credit card payments they charge a convenience fee which given the size of the down payment we were planning it would have been an additional $785 (ouch). No problem we thought we will go and get a cashiers check. (Nope) Then we were informed they required us to wait a day for the cashier's check to clear. Given the 5-hour drive one way and other obligations it all had to be done in one day. We had to go to the bank to get a very large amount of cash requiring us to go to 2 different banks because the first location did not have enough money on hand for the transaction. (If the sales person had asked just one question about how we were going to pay or finance we could have made arrangements in advance and saved hours.) Third hurdle, the tags for the bike. We drove to Purcellville from the Greensboro NC area to make our purchase so the tag for the bike was a little bit more complicated as they were meant to inform NC of the purchase so they would send the plates to dealership and then forwarded it to us so a little bit of delay was expected (However) Purcellville took 3 weeks just to send the message to NC DMV. Who then in turn sent them the first tag within 6 days. (We were told that tag was somehow misplaced.) Phone call after hone call after phone call on our part. (+95% of the calls were instigated by us) 2 months after our purchase we finally received our tags after having to request a 2nd temporary tag to get us until the permanent one arrived. Fourth Hurdle we decided to forgo the extended service coverage we set up on purchase of the bike. This has been a drawn-out nightmare of phone tag and hounding the finance department. We are still trying to get answers in regards to the removal of the wheel and tire service package. No one is returning our calls. (Grr). Our Fifth hurdle would be our Install concerns. After buying the bike we decided to start doing a number of things including installing an upgraded Sway bar. While installing the new one we ran into an issue caused by MotoMember using the sway bar channel as the route for the wiring used to upgrade the lighting on the floor boards. This caused a number of issues and loads of frustration with our install of the H&R Heavy Duty Sway Bar. (Martin the Vlogger is the best would recommend this sway bar to anyone). In upgrading the fender lights, we found that to add the fender lights instead of using plug and play lighting kits there was a lot of splicing and electrical tape this could have and should have in our opinion been done much better. Now with our plans to upgrade our rear shock to an M2 shock (Marcus is a great guy and very helpful through the entire process) we have been doing research on you tube as to the technique and discovered that the stage 2 Elka shocks that we paid the dealership to install for us were not calibrated for riding style or a preloaded weight(we were never even asked). That was irritating enough but we have now found they were also alarmingly installed upside down(pictures included). This causes extreme wear and tear on the shock causing it to break down much more quickly. After an investment of $850 and $300 in installation I find that unacceptable. Would we buy from them again? Possibly under the right circumstances and for the right price. Will we ever have them install things moving forward? Nope not going to Happen.

I also wanted a second set of eyes to check all my work and inspect everything once in a while, so I dropped my bike off at Fairfax Cycles. I was missing some other small parts needed, and they were able to order it for me. I had a budget I wanted to stick to, and they were able to work with me to meet my budget and the services I needed. They were very flexible. For the amount of work done on my bike, I'd say the price was fair. The place is very busy all year round, though. Please set your expectations. You'll likely have to wait to get serviced. You'll also need to pick up ASAP. I felt good about all the services performed on the bike. The installed Ohlins fork makes the bike so much better. Will I come back, a definite yes.

To make matters worse, he charged me every penny without considering any adjustment to the bill, even though I lost money on towing and wages because he was unavailable and unresponsive. His emails throughout this process were hostile and dismissive, showing bad faith and very poor customer service. I should have bailed right then and there. Fast forward a few years. Nothing but issues for a bike I took excellent care of and only put a grand total of 1000 miles on. I won't get into too many details here, but they kept the bike for a little over 3 months this last spring, " trying" to resolve an issue I was having with the bike struggling to start and not running correctly when it did start. After three months I complained to the owner about the absurd bill I got after his team of " professional Triumph techs" could not figure out anything and just started throwing random parts at it. To be clear, there were 3 error codes... After 90 days they didn't even mention any of those codes! The owner did right by me in terms of having them remove most of the fees they tacked on for their bull$!#@ work. It was super irritating that I was still out a couple hundred bucks for an intake snorkel (What the actual F?) and spark plugs (which I had also just replaced one day before leaving it with them) The real final coffin nail for me was that the final call from the service guy was unacceptable and infuriating: "Given enough time, we probably could figure it out, but we just don't have time to deal with your bike right now".
