I wish I could express positive feedback about JT Motorsports in Frederick, Maryland, but unfortunately, that's not the case. Recently, I asked JT Motorsports to supply and mount two motorcycle tires. I was surprised to find that the price of these tires was 35% higher than what I paid for the same brand and size two years ago. I attributed this increase to the rising cost of living in Maryland, as my last set was purchased during Sturgis Bike Week at J&P Cycles on a Sunday (Mid-Rally). However, when I received the (1st) invoice, I was stunned to find a charge of $360. I couldn't believe it and thought there must have been an error. Even the staff member seemed surprised. He double-checked the invoice and printed a revised bill of $288. Although this was a reduction, I was still taken aback by the amount, especially since I was expecting to pay closer to my last experience ($200). I reached out to several well-known motorcycle groups to gauge what others would expect to pay for such a service. Most members estimated the cost at around $40 to $80 per tire. In short, I was disappointed with the invoices received and paid. Unless there is an adjustment to their pricing structure, I will not be returning to JT Motorsports for future purchases. It's disappointing because I had hoped to have a nearby reliable establishment for my motorcycle needs. read more

Went here to get my bike inspected so I could register it later in the month. The process was relatively quick and it wasn't super expensive. Overall a smooth transaction and I would recommend it for getting your bike inspected. Sadly they don't service Aprilia which I know is an uncommon brand but I still wish they could. read more

I also purchased the extended warranty for 3 years that covers everything except wear items. It was a fight but eventually they did honor the warranty. i called saturday morning 10 am to make sure the spyder i was interested in was still for sale and available. Talked to salesman named michael . he took my name and phone number and worked out a purchase price. Told him i would be there around 1pm depending on traffic. a get there at 1.20 and bike is sold to another couple as i stood there. mike said sorry i thought they were you, he had my name how do you confuse someone with a different name? NEEDLESS TO SAY I DROVE 150 MILES TO SEE THE BIKE FOR NOTHING. he had my cell number he could have called to make sure i was on my way. JT Motorsports rock! I ordered a backrest for my 2015 Spyder. I screwed up and told them the wrong type of seat that I had so the backrest I ordered wasn't the right one. They ordered the correct one and knowing I had a ride planned for Saturday, managed to get it installed the day before. Before this, I had a front sprocket go bad(apparently a common problem in Spyders). I have a crappy after market extended warranty, but they were very patient and persistent in contacting the warranty company to get the repair covered. They just became authorized a Can Am dealer/repair shop, so they are still learning the ins and outs of the Can Ams. But if they don't know the answer right away, they make sure to find out and get back to me in a timely fashion. Before this bike, I had a Honda Shadow 750 and they did all the work on that. I am definitely a very satisfied customer! read more

These guys REALLY came through for me today. My Honda Shadow 1100 decided to melt a wiring connector or two. I pulled up to a stop light and smoke poured up from my crotch. I was 50 miles from home. It was 4:30pm on a Friday. I googled and found the nearest shop that looked good and I called them up in a panic. My bike was on a trailer in 25 minutes and my ass was back in the saddle about an hour and a half later. And despite the obvious desperate spot I was in, they charged me a VERY reasonable price. Bought my daughter a 50cc kayo 4 Wheeler it had 0 power she weighs all of 50 pounds wet it couldn't move her , I take it back they say we fixed it take it home same issue return it , pay extra for the 125 has a bit of pulling power it moves her around had it maybe 4 months now . Shes rode maybe 8 hours , I start it up once a week rev it make sure the battery stays charged up . Well go out today to start it 4 days from the last start nothing, 15 min later it.starts we ride it dies 1/4 mile in the woods . Pull it back home then try to start it nothing i push started it it ran for about 10 to 15 min then nothing it dies again . Why would jt motorsports push a brand that is claimed to be Honda clones but in reality are absolute trash . Gonna see if they will give me my money back the things still brand new , my review may change depending on how tommorow goes when I go speak with them , but I'll tell you this do not under any circumstances buy a kayo from anywhere they are prone to problems just Google it had I of known I never would have bought it for her . Great experience today at JT Motosports. I had my initial service completed today and received great customer service from Bobby at a very reasonable price. They also fixed my top case and installed heated hand grips. While in the shop my sister and I received a very informative session on helmets from Noah. I've had my KTM in service there and felt treated in timely and respectful manner. Guys were great and Kyle kept me up to date. But the real story here is Mike. I have traveled quite a bit riding and he is the best parts professional I have ever worked with. Honest and knowledgeable advice and fair prices are painfully missing at many dealer shops these days and though I do not live close, I do make the drive out there. Mike patiently went over several handlebars until we agreed on what would work best. I have been going here for over 20 years. If you need a helmet or jacket, Mike is the man to see. He has unreal knowledge and will fit you right. They will work with you on parts prices if you find them cheaper online and usually have everything within a couple days. I have had them do the tires on our chrome rims going on 7 years and have never had one mark. I can't really speak for the service as I do my own, but everything else we are very pleased with and enjoy going there. read more

Came to this dealer last year and ended up purchasing elsewhere because of smug piss poor service. What I can say is at least on that visit someone greeted me and asked if I needed any help. Decided to try them again rather than going out of state or driving out of my area and guess what, still the same service except no one got up to say a word. I've had friends purchase from here recently so I decided to give them another shot as I need to add another bike to the stable. No luck...I then went and purchased the 1000r somewhere else and I still needed to purchase a helmet so I went back today and third times the charm; if Prince Charming is going to stay a frog...no fairy tale s...here. I walk in a sales guy is walking around on his phone texting doesn't acknowledge me at all and I walk to the helmet section which they were all busy so I understand that. Then walk back again the same sales guy is still enthralled in his phone and another guy is eating behind the counter. Piss poor service and coming from customer service background you shouldn't Pre judge customers. I was in here on Saturday June 21. They were having a fish fry outside that one of the biker clubs were having. I was just planning on coming in and having them take a look at my GS500F for a possible trade in. Josh the sales guy really was great and help me. We told him we wanted a GREAT deal, and thats exactly what we got. very little negotiation and then signed the 2 papers. It started to rain as we were getting all the paper work done so we had to arrange a tow truck to come get the bike to bring it 20 minutes to Lucketts. They were very helpful with finding the closest motorcycle tow. Overall this was the best experience i've had buying a motorcycle (2nd bike). I have recommended friends already! I also went to get a new helmet as mine was a little too big and found out i was wearing a helmet 2 sizes too big. The accessories guy helped me and gave me great information on the helmets and helped me get a great fitting one. He showed me how to clean it, put the shields on, and how to change the visor. If I ever need accessories or gear, I will be coming here as well. Overall it was a great experience.
