Got to visit this gem during a trip. I believe the menu can rotate here so I was looking forward to the menu for the day. I ended up going with the pork chop and checking out one of their sour beers. Both were great. If I'm around the area again I would try it again.

I can definitely vouch for Motor Supply Co as a wonderful brunch spot!! They have parking and valet in the lot next to their building and we were able to walk in and be seated right away. Our waitress was so kind, she stopped and talked with us and gave her recommendations! The mimosas are great, but they have other drink options, to include hot tea. I ordered the brioche French toast topped with Mexican chocolate and it was amazing!! Great portion sizes, I even had a little to take home. It does look like their farm to fork menu changes on a somewhat regular basis. Just makes this a spot that never gets old!

Excellent food/drinks and friendly service. Even though it was extremely busy, the staff was always pleasant and professional. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I really liked the comfortable ambience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I hope to be back when I next visit Columbia!

This was my first time here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was very homey and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were seated inside and the service was very good. The server Heather was very patient and friendly. I had the shrimp and grits that they made gluten free and the crème brûlée which were both very tasty. From the pictures of the meals of my colleagues their dishes looked and they said they were great. I hope to visit again soon!

When my family travels, we often like to try new places, but other times it's nice to go to restaurants that we know are doing great things. This is our second time heading to Motor Supply Company and once again it did not disappoint. I loved their holiday specialty cocktails and this swordfish was delicious! Another thing I truly appreciate about this restaurant is their nod to local produce, specifically seafood. Make sure to get a reservation because this intimate restaurant fills up quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]With that said, this restaurant is a beautifully repurposed building, showcasing local artists, with great service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Make sure to check them out for lunch or dinner!

Food here is pretty mid imo. Steak was way under stalted and trigger fish was pretty bland. The service was good tho same with the drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes were very cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Feel like it's the ideal place for happy hour in the summer but not really great for dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Wednesday night 8/23/23 reservations for 3 at 7pm. Seated right away. Service by Brandon was excellent. We split the mussels appetizer. The were on the small side but the broth they were cooked in was delicious. I had the ribeye (16oz) which was excellent and cooked a perfect medium. Wife had the shrimp n grits which she said was probably the best she has ever had. My son had the strip steak which he said was very good. Delightful dinner and atmosphere for some great conversation and an excellent dinner. Highly recommend.

The service was great. I ordered the mimosa and the wild caught shrimp and grits. The mimosa did the trick the shrimp and grits were bland, I stopped at eating half the plate. I would not order them again. However, I would try this place again for dinner.

My waitress Lauren G very knowledgeable about the menu so I took her advice. I started with a glass of Angels Ink Pinot Noir. I chose a dinner portion of Ostrich and Cavatelli, followed by a smaller appetizer size of Fire Roasted Oysters. The Ostrich was good, although not as complex as I expected. Portion was smaller than I expected for the price. The Oysters (4) were out of this world. Next time I return, I'll go with three small plates. My only other suggestion is expanding the wine menu. They should offer more reasonably priced house reds and whites.

We ended up stopping at The Grand around 9/9:30pm on a Saturday. Upon entering the hostess informed us they were currently only serving the late night menu. We said no problem and elected to grab seats at the bar. There were several empty tables and a few empty seats @ the bar. However, the only two seats together at the bar needed to be cleared from the last patrons that were seated. We stood there for over 20 mins while Jacob continued to walk by never acknowledging us or the fact that we couldn't sit. When he finally cleared the dishes he just walked away, never cleaning the area. When he returned he still never greeted us or apologized for the wait, the mess... nothing. Jacob: What are you having? Me: Well hello... Jacob: Yea... what do you want? Me: Wow... ok. For starters can you please whip off the bar so we can properly have a seat. There is still food residue here from the last customers. ** we get a visible huff** He wipes down the bar and we proceed to order drinks, while he never really speak any more it's all via motions and body language. Amongst ourselves we check in with one another to confirm that we both were feeling very unwelcome. Instantly we decide that we will not be ordering anything additional and will be leaving after this one drink. Which is just as well because Jacob never returns. Someone , whom I can only assume was of a mangement status, asked if Jacob was helpful and we promptly and simultaneously said no and that we would like or bill. She shook her head in utter disbelief and disgust but then she also disappeared. Just so happened that Diamond, whom was on the other side of the bar happen to walk pass. She stopped and asked if we were ok after witnessing our frustration. We explained that we wanted the check and why we were leaving. She was super apologetic and closed out our tab. Her energy literal turned the experience around and if she would have came to our rescue sooner we would have considered staying. Thank you Diamond. Just A Note: Unfortunately, bad first impression because The Grand seems like it may offer a good time with the bowling lanes in the back.

What was even more disappointing was that when our waitress brought the bill, she clearly noticed I hadn't eaten the sandwich and chose not to ask about it. At this price point for lunch, I would have expected the situation to be handled a little differently. We sat in the covered outdoor area, which was nice, but there's also an uncovered outdoor section with older picnic tables that don't really match the vibe of a more upscale lunch spot.
