TL/DR: for motorcycle repair and maintenance, you really wanna go to RPM (Rad Performance…read moreMotorcpsorts) in Auburn. I first had Ryan work on my bike doing simple stuff, like installing tires. Simple enough, but he was able to install and balance them perfectly (which you know right away if it's not done right). Next I asked his people to finish installing a dashcam - I'd already done most of the install, but left the connection to the wiring harness (electrical work scares the crap out of me). So I had his people do it, and not only did it function perfectly, but they went the extra mile to carefully and expertly coil and cable tie the excess wire so they were tucked under the side cover, super neat and compact. Then, this past week, RPM did the 12k service on my Triumph Bonneville T100 just before I was to leave on a road trip over the weekend. They did a great job on the service at a very very competitive price. But, again, they went the extra mile. Ryan could not find the shims I needed to adjust valve clearances in time for the weekend road trip, so he located some 310 size shims in his shop and PERSONALLY milled them down to the required 295 size so 1. my valve clearances were perfect and 2.I'd have my bike back in time for the road trip (one other note - had a leaky valve cover gasket with RPM replaced, they also washed some of the old oil off the head so it would be clean for my ride). Plus they have puppies (Dixie, Miss Darla) not to be missed. These guys used to be Dog Bar Cycles and you'll find all their other great ratings, looks like they've gone out to do their own thing, and deserve all the recognition still.
