I am 56 years old and have bought about 15 cars in my lifetime. Dealing with BMW Motorwerks was the most unpleasant and unsavory car buying experience I ever had. They will say anything, nor matter how big a bold-faced lie it is, to sell a car. The first untruth was my salesperson telling me I could put regular uneaded gas in the 328. When I went on-line afterwards, it specifically says you can't put anything less than 89% gas in this vehicle, and if you do you might ruin the engine and void the warranties. Secondly, their finance manager tried to put me in a higher interest program, in order to get me more rebate money.He said I could refinance with my credit union after 4 months. When I queried him about the odds of my credit union still being at 1.9% 4 months from now, his comment was "I virtually guarantee you they will as they have been at that rate or lower for the past 2 years." When I asked him to put this in writing, however, he refused. When I checked with my consultant at Spire Credit Union re: this representation, they virtually guaranteed me it woudn't be that low in 4 months! To top everything else off, I asked for a Car-Fax on the vehicle, because it was slightly used with low mileage. They fought me tooth and nail on this citing the "low miles" and that "they had thoroughly gone over the car." When I told them I would not buy the vehicle without seeing a Car-Fax, they reluctantly finally gave me one.In reading it, to my shock, I found out the car had been in a collision. Not once, did the dealership mention this to me. To cement my belief this dealership epitomizes the bottom of the barrel, I found out later, after informing them I would not be buying their vehicle, that they after the fact pulled credit on me several times for no other reason then anybody can figure out, except in an attempt to ding my credit and attempt to thwart me from getting a loan to buy a car from some other dealership. read more

Consistently poor service, consistently talked down upon, not pleasant or helpful overall. I've been back multiple times to try and give them another shot but it's always been a poor experience. At one point I was yelled at by a service advisor because I had mentioned talking to the BBB about the service I received. I had a window changed out and after getting the car back the airbag light was on. It was not on before the service and it was after the car was returned. I was told the light was on when I brought it in and that I was incorrect by saying otherwise. The light was not on however. This is just one example. I would never recommend anyone take their business here. I thoroughly enjoy BMW and will always have one around so it's too bad that they won't be getting my business in the future. I've dealt with both Motorwerks BMW and BMW of Minnetonka and it's a night and day difference. The Minnetonka dealership is worth the extra drive, it's a much more professional experience and an experience BMW strives to deliver. Unfortunately not the case at Motorwerks. read more

I've bought two cars from Motorwerks, and I'm quite through with them. The sales experience is ridiculous. My advisor made an appointment with me but didn't tell me it was the same day they were having some big event. In 3 hours, I test drove two cars, one of which had a dead battery. It was a complete waste, but I was getting a good deal, so I pressed on. After I took delivery, little things started showing up telling me the car wasn't right. The instrument panel didn't change like it was supposed to, my cell phone Bluetooth connection kept getting terminated, a loud rattling from a speaker started to fill the car... the car did not work as advertised by BMW. Turns out that I had to wait for three weeks until their "service" department could get me in. I had just bought a brand new 6 series that didn't work properly, and absolutely no one cared. It was amazing to me that they would not only show such disregard of a customer, but more importantly of the brand, to which I am very loyal. BMW is not perfect by any stretch, but Motorwerks takes imperfection, indifference, and disrespect to another level. If you are looking to get a high value car with high value service, look elsewhere. Motorwerks is more concerned with moving 328i's than helping their car-savvy customers. read more

We bought our first BMW from this location about 4 years ago (a certified pre-owned 5-series sedan). Craig was our salesman and he was great. We had made the purchase on the Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving, and while I am sure he really wanted to get home to start his holiday, he stayed with us even after closing to help us complete the paperwork and take home our "new" car. The car was fantastic and I absolutely loved it... like what seems to be the case with most BMWs, the car had various issues over the years, and in most cases, the service department did a great job taking care of us. I had considered giving this rating only 4 stars, but at the end of the day, I did decide to buy again, so that must tell you something! (Note: Be sure to have the service technicians thoroughly document EVERY concern you have about the vehicle, even if they can't replicate the issue... failure to do so may come back to haunt you). So... moving on... after one repair too many (including an unfortunate water pump situation that resulted in BMW Roadside Assistance arranging for a flat-bed tow late last night for me) and the fact that our 2009 was less than 2 weeks away from the end of its warranty, we decided this morning to trade it in for a newer car. As Craig is no longer on the sales floor (I think he has moved on to finance), we were helped by Deleray, who was equally fantastic. We're pretty decisive, so it didn't take long for us to determine which car we wanted. After a brief test drive, he helped us through our paperwork (even arranging so my husband could come back and sign later as he needed to get back to the office) and I drove home with my "new" 2014 5-series. Deleray understood that we were in a hurry with little time to waste, and met our needs both on the trade-in value of our 2009 and in the sales price of the car. Let's be clear... he didn't give it away, but he didn't waste our time with a back and forth haggle either. We told him what we were looking for and he got as close as he could, and thus he got the deal. I would absolutely buy from him again. I also want to place a shout out to Nic, the service advisor who may have had the initial unfortunate experience of dealing with me at 7:30AM (after my husband dropped me off to arrange for a loaner, again because my car had been towed there the night before) since I was exhausted and frustrated from the previous night's experience... but he was fantastic and quickly arranged a loaner. When I told him that we were considering trading in, he sat with me and helped me research various certified pre-owned options while we waited for sales staff to arrive. He then introduced us to Deleray and checked in on me periodically. He even took a moment to drool (his word) over the new vehicle that we had selected, and made arrangements for me to bring the car back next week for some detailing work while I am traveling on business. Tony Berg, my salesperson at BMW, was the only salesperson who actually listened to me about what I was looking for. Tony and the finance manager Mike Heller we're attentive, they were straightforward and communicated clearly, and at no point did I feel any pressure or manipulation. This review is for the BMW Service center. If I could give this place zero stars I would - but since I can't and the fact that the first 2 hours I was there wasn't that bad, one star will have to suffice. Warning: Do not take your car here to be serviced if you want to take it back in the same condition you dropped it off in! I took my car here to get serviced and left with two major problems: 1. In changing out my windshield wipers, they scratched the hood of my car right at the top near the windshield. When I complained, they proceeded to tell me that the scratches were there before. THEN proceeded to tell me how to lift the windshield wipers as if I were an idiot. Though they did offer to fix it with their detailing department - they acted as if they were doing me a favor. 2. I had the windshield wiper fluid filled and now the apparatus where the fluid comes out of is loose - AND if you pull it up it comes straight out of the hood. When I complained about this, they could not explain what had happened ("maybe it was something when we closed the hood"). Again, they said they would order a new part and fix it BUT that I had wait for the part to be ordered and have to come back and spend another day at their Service place for them to fix it. In my 10 years of owning BMW cars and getting them serviced at BMW centers, I have never had my car scratched and broken when getting it SERVICED - and when I did have any problems, the Service Center certainly didn't treat me as if it was my fault and on top of that, be condescending about it. Needless to say, I will not be taking my BMW back here for servicing after they fix what they broke - and I strongly recommend that no one else takes theirs here either - at least that's what I'll be telling all my colleagues at the large firm I work for. Went to Motorwerks BMW to look at a used car, and it wasn't even a BMW. They had a Camaro on the lot I was interested in. My intention was to go look, take a test drive, and do some more car shopping. Due to the efforts of two guys, Don Grundman (Finance Manager) and Brad Davis (sales), the car is currently in my driveway and it's MINE. I have purchased a lot of vehicles in my 27 years driving, and even as recently as April bought another vehicle at a different dealership. The experiences couldn't be more opposite. The April purchase at a dealer to remain unnamed treated me like an afterthought after spending $35,000. And to top it off, they damaged my truck installing some accessories and tried to hide it. Today's purchase at Motorwerks BMW was a dream. Got a hold of Brad online, and he chatted with me for a few minutes, then invited me in. I arrived early, but the car was ready, and Brad met me at the door. Walked me around, showed me the minor flaws (all used cars have them), then handed me the keys and said "let's take a spin". Now, its a Camaro....425hp. I've had salespeople before tell me to take it easy. CMON! It's a sports car. I'm not buying it to get groceries and nurse the throttle. I WANNA FLY! As soon as we left the parking lot, Brad told me "don't be afraid to open it up. Drive it like you own it, like you will if you buy it". So...I punched it. Brad smiled. We had a great conversation during a 15-20 minute drive. He answered all my questions, but by far the most important thing to me, never once did he give me the "sales pitch" or apply any pressure to get me to buy. I'd found cars I really wanted before, and had a dealer start pressuring me to buy, and I left and bought elsewhere. Nothing I hate worse than the high pressure sales staff. Got NONE of that today. I didn't feel pressured to buy at all. Brad and Don made me feel supported, valued, respected, and like I was the most important person in the building. Outstanding! Then, since I'd found the car I really wanted, I made an offer. Brad said "we should be able to work something out". Then he introduced me to Don for the financing part. Don had his work cut out for him. A divorce and bankruptcy in the last few years on my record took its toll on my credit score. Don went to work on my behalf and did great. I was expecting a rate higher than I got. Working through the details with Don was much like working with Brad....supportive, informational, helpful...all the time with the feeling like they truly cared for me and wanted to assist me the best they could. Overall...A+ gentlemen. I am thrilled with the customer service I got at Motorwerks BMW today, and it will be the first place I stop next time I am in the market for a car. We bought our mint 2008 328i pre-owned leaser from Motorwerks. Only had 20K on it..like a new car! Saved a considerable amount as well. We had test driven one at another dealer. The inline 6 is a killer engine! Extremely well balanced engine design, and smooth as silk driving, with steering control we had never experienced with a domestic auto. This auto IS a very nice engineering job! Our experience at Motorwerks BMW was EXCELLENT! Repeat: EXCELLENT! The Sales guy Cory, took his time to educate us having come from years of Saturn driving. (also a nice car for the money) We were clearly newbies at the dealership, but our saleman Cory, was extremely good in representing his product line, his firm, and the car we were interested in. Stepped us through the numerous features, quality aspects, warranty considerations, service dept., and really explained much of what BMW is all about. Everyone from Cory to the front office treated us with respect, and diligence. We'd EASILY recommend this dealership to anyone! A couple weeks later, we brought the car we purchased, in for an oil change. That too, was a very professional experience. They explained all procedures, and answered all questions factually, and honestly. They checked out the entire auto for any issues, and we left feeling very good about our experiences at Motorwerks. This is the first non-domestic design we've owned, but have to say, the auto is worth what they ask. (a bit higher than domestic, but an exceptional design as well.) So if yer lookin' fer a quality ride, get it from people you develop trust in! The 328 is a VERY nicely engineered automobile! Fit and quality of materials is first class from what we've seen so far. We still have a Saturn as well, that I wrench on occassionally, but the BMW is REALLY in a completely other quality level. I've worked on cars for over thirty years, and we feel this auto is extremely well assembled, and designed. Motorwerks could not be a more professional organization in our humble opinion. read more

Have been bringing my car in for service for a couple of years now. Brought my vehicle in recently for an engine diagnostic. I was told that because the light went off they couldn't retrieve the code. That's fine, I bring the car back a week later for the same issue and it begins to idle a little rough at this point. After keeping my vehicle for about 4-5 days I'm given the estimate which was nearing 4k. I decided to shop around and received an estimate for less than half that amount. The worst part of this ordeal is that when I picked my vehicle up it was horribly misfiring. It was driving 10x worse than when I dropped it off. I placed a call to the service center to follow up on what happened when my vehicle was being put back together and explained how afwul the vehicle was driving. No one ever followed up with me on this matter and I have spent over 6-7k at this shop. Don't VISIT!!!! read more

I recently purchased an M2 through Tim Cady and wanted to share what a positive experience it was. My contact with Motorwerks was initiated through Autotrader and I was shocked to receive a text from Tim on a Sunday. He was very thorough in answering all the preliminary questions I had. Then in the days to follow he sent me multiple pictures and high resolution video of the car. This was an out of state purchase all the way from Florida so the fact that he was willing to be patient with me and send picture after picture of the car meant so much. Lastly and most importantly the car was exactly as advertised upon delivery. Upon giving it a nice wash and F11 coating I was ecstatic to see its true condition. I am originally from Columbus, Ohio and have purchased or leased BMW's from several different dealers (this is my 2nd M2 and 5th BMW overall) but next time I am in the market it will be Tim at Motorwerks that I look to first! read more

After several fruitless attempts to reach David I finally gave up and emailed the General Manager Matt Mickelson for resolution. At this point this circus had been going on for four full months. And after two more emails to General Manager I was left with total silence. When my next service became due and I needed new tires I went to BMW in Minnetonka. I bought my new tires there and had my regular maintenance completed, while I also asked them to take a look at the rust that was now becoming more prominent. Their service department had their auto body specialist look at the rusty door and concluded that the body work that had been done could not have been missed during the certification process as it was just this bad. Long story short, I feel very much taken advantage by BMW Motorwerks in Bloomington as they clearly sold me a car that had body work done and they knew it. The car supposedly had warranty under Certified Pre-Owned and on top of that they also sold me an additional Appearance Warranty that was supposed to cover any paint issues. BMW Motorwerks in Bloomington does not stand by the product they sell and their lack of integrity in doing business. They have made no attempt to work with me in correcting their mistake. My warning to anyone thinking about buying a BMW do so with caution if you consider one at Motorwerks in Bloomington. You may end up with more problems that you bargained for and do not expect BMW Motorwerks to even try to make it right. read more

I've been in there multiple times, and had a decent experience there while purchasing a car last summer, but this latest trip to Motorwerks left me very unhappy. I had cash in hand and was ready to buy, in fact I really need to purchase a car that very day. I had been watching a couple of BMW's on their site and wanted to get a closer look. The cars were great and I was very interested, but I absolutely could not stand the salesman, Brad. He had this extremely arrogant manner about him and used annoyingly pushy sales tactics, which only increased when he sensed my hesitation, such a turn off! I contemplated walking away and asking to talk to someone else, but I instead drove down the road and purchased a vehicle from one of their competitors. Very bad service, stay away from this dealer!!! 3 month after I got the car, I haven't got my car's title and I went to the DMV, the officer said the motorwerk haven't submitted my car's paperwork. And I checked with the salesman, he said they did and he would check again, kind of lying to me I think, maybe because I look like a young guy and will just let me wait, another week passed, I still didn't hear from him(does it take so long?), so I went to the dealer unit and they helped me out. Dealers should submit the paperwork in 60 days of the purchase and are they kind of doing the illegal business? read more

I recently brought my 328xi in to Motorwerks for some routine maintenance. I was called several days later and told my car was ready to be picked up. When I arrived, I could see that some of the work was not completed as I was told. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the paint above the front passenger side wheel was significantly scratched (I suspect due to the mechanic leaning on it to work). When I spoke to my service adviser, he apologized but seemed annoyed with me bringing it up. Several days later, I was called again and told my car was ready. On the drive home, I could hear a loud clunking noise from the engine compartment when I turned and braked. I returned to the dealership and described the problem. I received a call several days later letting me know that they had damaged a motor mount bolt during the repair. It took three trips but I was finally able to pick up my car. I was without my car for more than two weeks. This isn't the first problem I have had with Motorwerks. On a previous visit, I needed a tire replaced due to a flat. On the way home I could tell something was wrong. When I checked the wheel, several of the lug bolts were finger loose. To me, these are serious problems. I did not feel like Motorwerks was taking them seriously. I never felt like a priority, even after all of these problems. They seemed annoyed when I brought these issues to their attention. I am not sure what is going on up there but I have been incredibly disappointed with them. read more

It's hard to know where to begin with the utterly abysmal experience I had at Motorwerks. After purchase, they failed to properly transfer the title on my trade-in vehicle, resulting in an attempted court ruling against me for unpaid tickets incurred by the new owner of my trade-in. Once I'd sorted out that mess, disputes over warranty repairs began. I purchased my car new, and was therefore entitled to the 4-year, 50k mile warranty. Around 3 years and 40k miles, the car needed approximately $1000 in repairs, which Motorwerks refused to cover under warranty. Their claim was that regular service had been done to the car while in BMW's possession (before sale) and therefore the clock started on the 4 year warranty before I bought it. Try as I might, I could not convince them of the absurdity of a manufacturer using their own warranty to service the car while it was still in their possession prior to sale. I think it's fairly obvious that warranties are intended to be exercised by the consumer of a product - not the manufacturer. I ended up writing an appeal to Penske (their parent company) and BMW America, who honored the warranty and covered the repairs. The final straw, which motivated me to write this review, came recently when the car was officially outside warranty and I took it in for its first non-warranty service. Following an oil change, the service department informed me that the valve cover was cracked and the car needed about $3000 in repairs. I asked why a car with 57k miles would have a cracked valve cover, and their response was "it gets cold in MN". I took the car to an independent Euro mechanic, who could find no evidence of a cracked valve cover and diagnosed the problem as a $60 gasket + labor. The Euro mechanic also remarked that there was enough oil leaking that he suspected the problem had been present for at least a year - when the car was still under warranty and Motorwerks could have repaired it at no cost to me. Motorwerks is a shabby crew. If you want a BMW, drive to the Minnetonka dealer, which is owned by a different parent company. read more

Do not use this dealership for service, they mess up even a basic oil change and did not call when they were finished and didn't put in the correct amount of oil. Had a security system issue and thought they of all mechanics could fix it, they couldn't and ended up going to an independent to get it fixed. Last thing was an alignment that they messed up my tires are wearing incorrectly because of it. I am done with this kind of service it is pitiful. read more

I met him at the "other" BMW dealership in town and took my business to Motorwerks because of Randy. Owning both a 98 750 and an 04 x5, which occasionally need parts replaced, I value Randy's extensive knowledge, problem solving skills, courtesy, and professionalism. Got a great deal on a used mini. They gave me top dollar for my non-bmw trade and were flexible on pricing. I don't feel as if this particular used car salesman was particularly knowledgeable on the mini brand but was still pleasant enough to deal with. Was difficult getting a phone call back while waiting for the car to be detailed and ready for delivery. I had to be very proactive which was annoying. Like others I wasn't taken seriously at first being a younger fellow but when I established that I was there to look at used only and in a certain, realistic price range they wanted up. The paperwork process was VERY rushed and was a simple "here, sign these" deal. Knowing better I read every single paragraph and the rep, not the original sales associate, did nothing to help me out just waited for me to be done. Overall, I'm satisfied. Not thrilled, not disappointed. Simply satisfied. read more

Sales and finance staff were knowledgeable, friendly and very patient despite the show floor being extremely busy and close to closing time. I worked with salesman Anthony Williams. Great guy-not the typical pushy, high pressure sales guy. 4 stars for the transaction, sales and finance guys. Review would be 5 stars if I had maybe just a few more minutes to privately inspect the car with my wife and give it the final "go" or "no go" but that never had a chance to happen. Partly my fault for not saying anything, I guess. The car was being whisked away to their detail shop as there were 2 or 3 people scheduled to look at the car first thing the next day. (I did see his schedule, he wasn't bs'ing us). Circumstances were at play; this was 5pm on Black Friday and the whole place was closing at 6 so I understand their urgency. 4.8-4.9/5 stars would be more accurate. If it was possible I'd give a negative 5. My sister bought her car here approx a month ago.. She had not made a payment yet.. She ended up in the hospital 2 days ago and diagnosed with terminal cancer. I called to talk to the GM and he was so incredibly rude. My sister had traded in a payed off Maxima and put a down payment. We called thinking with compassion they would take the car back. They offered to take it back where we would owe them money and they would still keep her car and down payment.. He laughed and said this is a business..I understand that and was not looking too make money. Just take the car back and they could keep everything else. He was rude.. So ride I'm still shocked..I told him thanks for his time and that is be sure to write him a review about how kind they were in a family's desperate need for compassion. After being ignored by all of the sales people at Infiniti and Acura, we drove down the street to Motorwerks. We were immediately met by a sales person that opened the door for us, asked if we were looking for new or used and then walked us to the elevator and escorted us to the second floor where the new car sales people are. Our salesman, Oliver could not have been more professional and the entire transaction was painless. Their used car salespeople are another story however. I was in the market to buy a used Porsche Cayman S. I can't remember the guy's name but he took all of my information and said he would find me the car I wanted. I never heard from him again. As this is a Penske dealership, I expected more. Also, what really miffed me was that I saw that the Penske BMW dealership in Phoenix had the vehicle I was looking for. If I saw it, why didn't the salesman? My son bought a used Mini Cooper S from this same used car salesman. Only after he took delivery did he see the reams of paperwork detailing all of the accidents this car had been in. Horrible buying experience that resulted in my extreme disappointment with the car. The salesperson omitted critical information I.e. the X1 xDrive requires premium gas; the CD player wouldn't display CD tracks (even though I emphasized my need for a CD player). I'm told the "heads" in my CD player are the lower quality and wouldn't display tracks. Who knew? Not the salesperson! The car has a navigation system and other software that require updates. During the purchase exchange, I specifically asked how the navigation system is updated, and she told me it's updated over the satellite system. Not true. One must bring it to service. I discovered today that this vehicle is on the recall list since April (8 months ago). I had it serviced late summer and they didn't bother to address the recall nor did they notify me. Now the function / options to change how the speedometer appears stopped working--I'm told it's also a software update (I had this done a month or so ago). Summary: I expected more from a "high end" dealership. Frustrating experience all around. Buyer beware. (BTW, BMW North America pushes customer dissatisfaction back to the dealer.) read more

We are so impressed with this dealership! Sunday my husband contacted Ryan Kaulbars in internet sales, about trading in our 2014 Audi for a new BMW X1. Ryan worked with us via email/text msgs to find the right car. I went in Mon. to look at the X1. Molly at the reception is a breath of fresh air when you walk in, all smiles and joy. Darius on the sales floor was wonderful to work with, helpful & polite. We were able to complete the deal Tues. We met with Duayne (spelling?) on the sales floor, again another great sales rep. to complete prelim paperwork, Brett the "product genius" showed us the ins and outs of the car, patient with our questions, and then Tom in finance finished the deal. He was terrific to work with as well. As we were heading out, Duayne checked the gas level in the car, it was at 3/4 full, I would have been fine driving off the lot as is, before I could say as much, he hopped in the car and had the tank topped off. Nice touch! Very impressed with everyones attention to detail. Thank you for making what is so often a trying experience an easy one. Happy to be joining the BMW family! read more

This is a hard review to write as I loved driving my MINI. I custom ordered it from them in 2009. I ordered it with all the options, nav, convenience, cold weather, sport and sound package. It was a beautiful, fun car but from the start the car had problems. And, not just minor problems. Motorwerks service was wonderful working with me, supplying a loaner and speedy repairs. I was in there so much, they all knew me by my first name. I was patient with the little indiosyncrises of the MINI until the warranty ran out 50k. From then on, it was one BIG bill. My timing chain went out (seriously a timing chain at 55k-really). They quoted me over $2200 to repair. After expressing my complete disappointment, the price was lowered to $1800.00. The service agents WORK ON COMMISSION! Less then a month later, I had TWO OIL LEAKS, the EMISSION CONTROL LIGHT stayed on and no one knew why except that it was around $1000 or more to repair. The SPARK PLUGS were bad. I NEEDED A NEW WATER PUMP. An OIL SENSOR went out. The NAV was a hit or miss if it was going to work or not. And, fear the CATALTYIC CONVERTER was going- which is a $2500 repair! Then the car WOULDN'T START! All this and the car ONLY HAD 65K on it. It was time to cut my losses and get rid of it. The problem was Motorwerks knew what was wrong with the car, so if I tried to trade it at a different dealer, Motorwerks would tell them it is only worth $12k! $32k to $12k in 3 years! I had no choice but to go back to them for a trade. Once there, they told me they needed to deduct on the trade for over $2600.00.....this included $750 TO ROTATE THE TIRES ( which were months old). Later, I was told ALL cars must have run flats and my tires would be changed out. ROTATE FOR $750.00 THEN REMOVE THEM AT MY EXPENSE. There were many deceitful games they played during the negotiation process. When the deal was done, I could not bring myself to shake their hand. I could go on about the trade experience but will just say, I am happy to be done with BMW, MINI AND MOTORWERKS! I drove away with a nice Japanese car and won't have to deal with them again. My MINI is still on their lot. I loved that car, but feel bad for the person that buys it as MOTORWERKS Is the only game in town.....and it is just that, a game! read more

Avoid this place at all costs! Took my 525 in for a recall, something to do with the battery. They get back to me and tell me the bad news....I have a leaky oil filter housing gasket and that it was about time for a oil change. They could do it right away while I wait. The cost was just over $800. I told him I would pass on that deal. Later I felt it was time for that oil change and take a look at that leak they told me about. To my surprise the leak was the oil filter cover that was the problem not the oil housing gasket. New gasket comes with new filter. I had my vehicle towed in with an alternator issue. I called the service department immediately so they were expecting my vehicle's arrival. For two days I didn't receive a status update so I called them. I was told they would have to call me back. The following day I finally received a call from a service advisor about my vehicle. At that time he explained to me that the towing service charge would be INCLUDED IN MY INVOICE. I agreed and they performed the inspection. When I was called back with the diagnosis I was given a TOTAL cost. I agreed that they perform the service. When my vehicle was ready I was called again and given a new larger TOTAL cost that additionally included the towing. When I explained that I had understood TOTAL to mean TOTAL and that there is a clear difference between INCLUDED ON THE INVOICE and INVOICED SEPARATELY, I was told it wasn't their error, the dealership owed me nothing, and I owed the total balance due. This was then raised to both the service advisor's manager, and to the GM of the dealership: neither of whom would acknowledge the error and make it right for the customer either.
