One star . Because every time I walk in and ask for a papa rellena they either don't have it or only have one left like this Sunday morning. Ok, so I can officially confirm... the wait time is out of control here. Lol. I had been wanting to stop in to this little bakery for some time and finally made my way in on a Saturday morning around 10. The parking lot is super tiny and cramped, with tight parking spots. I was lucky enough to find a space and proceeded inside where I waited in line for at least 10 minutes. The place is adorable but super tiny and patrons are standing on top of each other. The girls behind the counter work as fast as they can, but because of the space restrictions they can only do so much at a time. They are piled on top of each other back there, too. I ordered two tostadas, two ham croquettes, and a colada. Everything was tasty, though it's a pretty simple order and hard to get wrong. The cakes and pastries looked beautifullll and delicious, so next time I have a special occasion I definitely must try one. While the tostadas and croquettes were good enough, the experience was beyond hectic and time consuming, so I would not return for a Cuban breakfast fix in the future. Just way too chaotic. People everywhere piled on top of each other. There are a few other bakeries nearby that offer the same thing with a much more relaxed, less hectic, and speedier process. read more

I used to like this cozy bake shop, but they have change the quality of pastelitos,tequenos etc. I used to drive 20 min just for the potato tortillas, but now the change the quality of ingredients or adding to much fat. Best Cuban bakery in Miami hands down. I have been coming to this bakery since I was little kid and it has never disappointed. So I have been coming here every weekend for about 21 years and it's been nothing but spectacular. I have tried almost everything they have to offer and can personally promise no other bakery can match their quality. Yes, it can get quite crowded on the weekends but that's what you should expect. A great restaurant will always have customers coming in and out making the wait excessive. But I never heard complaints if the food was great anywhere. My advice would be to expect the wait but remember to not get fussy about it. Everyone wants quick service but that usually means poor quality. Really nice cuban bakery with good parking and plenty of seating for busy days. Everything looks super clean and taken care of. Coffee is good and the pastries/empanadas are excellent. The sandwiches are ok, but pastelitos and anything fried are the way to go. Pending on the day the ladies at the counter can be super nice or super rude.
