    My cortadito
    Magda M.

The Molin Rose Cake and Bake Shop is a quaint and delightfully pink decorated café. The space is clean, organized, and inviting. The staff is warm and welcoming, creating a pleasant atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Their coffee is rich and smooth, I ordered a dark cortadito. Although I only had coffee this time, I highly recommend the flan and cheesecake combo dessert from past visits. Sometimes wait time is a bit long.

ood here is delicious! Their bread is so soft and tasty. Plenty of pastries and cakes. Friendly owners and workers. 4 tables to seat. Outside parking. Price is really good. Cheaper than lots of bakeries in south Florida.

Ok, so I can officially confirm... the wait time is out of control here. Lol. I had been wanting to stop in to this little bakery for some time and finally made my way in on a Saturday morning around 10. The parking lot is super tiny and cramped, with tight parking spots. I was lucky enough to find a space and proceeded inside where I waited in line for at least 10 minutes. The place is adorable but super tiny and patrons are standing on top of each other. The girls behind the counter work as fast as they can, but because of the space restrictions they can only do so much at a time. They are piled on top of each other back there, too. I ordered two tostadas, two ham croquettes, and a colada. Everything was tasty, though it's a pretty simple order and hard to get wrong. The cakes and pastries looked beautifullll and delicious, so next time I have a special occasion I definitely must try one. While the tostadas and croquettes were good enough, the experience was beyond hectic and time consuming, so I would not return for a Cuban breakfast fix in the future. Just way too chaotic. People everywhere piled on top of each other. There are a few other bakeries nearby that offer the same thing with a much more relaxed, less hectic, and speedier process.

Small bakery located on Sunset Drive. This place can get busy during breakfast and lunch hours. The price is right and the food is delicious. They have indoor and outdoor dinning. The indoor dining is a little cramped but if you're dropping by for a quick bite it'll do. I see this bakery more of a take out kind of place. Great assortment of party platters including cake and pastry platters. The service is adequate. They're attentive and try to move people through as quickly as possible.

Best Cuban bakery in Miami hands down. I have been coming to this bakery since I was little kid and it has never disappointed. So I have been coming here every weekend for about 21 years and it's been nothing but spectacular. I have tried almost everything they have to offer and can personally promise no other bakery can match their quality. Yes, it can get quite crowded on the weekends but that's what you should expect. A great restaurant will always have customers coming in and out making the wait excessive. But I never heard complaints if the food was great anywhere. My advice would be to expect the wait but remember to not get fussy about it. Everyone wants quick service but that usually means poor quality. Just remember those people behind the counter are working hard. Just enjoy the great music and ambiance. You can't go wrong with their desserts.

Came in the morning, the Friday before Mother's Day, everyone was there to either get orders or buy some premade party size pastelitos & croquetas. Super nice staff, very hard working, looked like they knew their clients, and very helpful. They had soooo many orders but were still able to squeeze me in so i really appreciate them working that hard to help out their last minute clients! The pastelitos and croquetas were a hit at the office so THANK YOUUUU everyone at Moulin who made this possible :) Also I peeped their spanish omelette that looked super good!

Beautifully crafted delicious rum cake. Jaw dropping accuracy from picture brought in to final production of cake. I highly recommend this bakery.

This place started to go downhill... def. not the same it was back in 2017; including the customer service. Wouldn't give them a dime more.

The staff was friendly and polite. I ordered the ham and cheese cachito, and oh my goodness... it instantly took me back to the ones I used to eat as a kid in school in Venezuela. The size was perfect, the flavor was spot on, and even though it was a little greasy, it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is nothing fancy, just a normal bakery vibe, but I didn't care. The cachito was that good. I didn't try anything else, so I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but for the cachitos alone, I'd happily drive from Miami Lakes all the way to Kendall again. Solid 9.8/10. If you're looking for an authentic Venezuelan cachito experience, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, the coffee just wasn't my favorite--I was hoping for a bit more flavor. The service was also a little hit or miss. We were overlooked a couple of times, but it seemed like the staff was handling a busy rush, so I don't think it was intentional. Even though it wasn't the best experience, I'd be open to giving it another try on a less hectic day to see if it's different.

The food was actually amazing, especially for a casual cafe environment. I had the loaded avocado toast which came with two slices toast with creamy avocado spread across it, cherry tomatoes, a sprinkle of feta cheese, a balsamic vinegar sauce. For my daughter I ordered the waffles with berries. This was slightly smaller than I expected but delicious. So sugary and flavorful. And I had a honey cinnamon latte which I also felt was full of flavor and had lots of cinnamon (I've had this in other places where I felt the flavor and cinnamon were lacking). That being said, it took 24 minutes to get our food which I think is a bit excessive for this environment. There was only one girl working when we were there and lots of people. Also, the bill for all that (plus an apple juice) was $53 and change including tip! (I paid that same amount recently at a cute sit down restaurant where the meal was big enough to have plenty of leftovers). The ambiance had a clean, minimalist aesthetic with pretty decor pieces. It was very quiet too... about halfway through my visit, they turned on some music, but it was still a quiet, calm environment with the music. I prefer a busier, fun type of vibe, but for those who are looking for something very serene and calm this would be an ideal place to relax or get some work done as long as you're willing to wait for your food!

There was of plenty of seating inside either at a table, couch coffee table or even a barstool along the wall. It took a bit for our waiter to stroll back around to take our order, and for a Sunday morning brunch, I wouldn't have considered this place a "packed" house. When the time came around, I was first to place my order, I wanted something different so I ordered Shakshuka. Of course; I did my quick research of the dish before getting to the restaurant! Shakshuka is suppose to be a one-skillet egg dish, the eggs are basted in this rich, thick red pepper, tomato, onions, and garlic sauce, topped with satueed peppers. I also ordered a French toast and chai latte! Fast forward to when everyone dishes were dropped off, even though I was first to order my dish did not arrive. I waited around for 10-15 minutes, my whole family was pretty much done with their meals. I had to call over our waitress to advise my order was never dropped at the table. After letting her know, my dish was expedited to the table in less than 5 minutes. Could they have been a rush to send out the dish? Possibly. Because that was the worst dish ever and nothing like described. The peppers were not sautéed (or little to nothing) and were just sliced, plated for decor. The tomato/red pepper based sauce seemed like it was just canned tomato sauce, very liquid-y. Simply was not fond of this dish. The french toast were more like hard french toast sticks, I would've liked it to be on the fluffier end, but they were hard/toasted. Nothing that blew my mind. As far as my chai latte, it was divine! The perfect warm hug. The chai to steamed milk ratio was on point, and topped cinnamon. My mom ordered their $42 Entrecöte Frites; man, did that sound delicious. As a true steak connoisseur, she loves a bleeding rare steak! So that was the temperature she ordered, rare. I was excited to snag a bite or two from her plate to be the judge it for myself. The plate dropped the first time, she cut right in the middle of it to see the finishing temperature... it was wrong. Sent it right back. The second time it hit the table, the temperature was correct. A bright red center and a seared exterior, just what she was looking for. However, it was so salty, you just could not get past all the salt, nothing to enjoy. Not edible, unless you wanted clogged arteries right then and there! My wife ordered a caprese sandwich. Yes, I also took a bite of that while waiting my for my order(lol). The baguette bread was airy, delicious, and soft. The mozzarella was fresh and the tomatoes were nice and ripe. I also tried their croissants, almond and chocolate croissant, pistachio croissant, and Nutella croissant. They were buttery, flaky, and all the fillings complimented it well. My conclusion to La Boulangerie is you have to be selective about what you order from here. Maybe they had an off day and we were the unlucky ones, but the more complicated meals turned out to taste the worst. However, you can definitely enjoy light bites here... you can't go wrong with a baguette sandwich, coffee, or a pastry. I think baking and light fare is where their true expertise lies.

Not to mention the amazing looking pastries and coffees when you first walk in. I ordered the steak sandwich and have no complaints. The vegetables were roasted perfectly, the bread had a great toasted crunch to it, and there was a good amount of steak in my sandwich. In addition, the sauce that they put on the bread was so good!
