Along the paths

On a busy holiday weekend, we were overjoyed to be able to hike through this property, accessing The bay at several spots along the way. Spacious trails, magnificent views - and FREE! Sadly many abused the leash rules and pickup after your dog rule (bags are provided), which is depressing - don't people realize what a privilege this is? We heard the farmers market is terrific too, but this bay front property is special and we were thrilled to be able to share.

I've attended 4 test kitchen dinners lately. 5 course meals small petite meals . Excellent presentation by Russell Morin catering on all areas . Great way to meet local people. You can get some friends together and get a table or share a table with others and become fast friends . It's great to meet people over a delicious meal. The farm is a great venue for a wedding or any function . On Saturdays in the winter months they hold a farmers market from 9 to 12:30 . I've been to that as well and it's amazing what your able to get in winter. Fresh eggs , seafood, homemade ice cream. Loved every minute of going through the barn. Homemade soaps, pottery, etc. It's a great way to spend the morning.

Beautiful November day

I attended a wedding here with my bf earlier in June so this review is about the venue and the…read morefacilities. 3.5 stars. We didn't stay overnight at the hotel, they required a 2 night stay and we were only there for 1 night. It was an outdoor wedding, in the waterfront pavilion right next to the water. The ceremony and the dinner took place at the same location. It was a colder June day, so they had to close up the canopy, with these transparent shades. I recommend heated outdoor lamps which some outdoor dining places use in weathers like this! The outdoor canopy area does not have a bathroom for wedding goers and I believe that was one of the biggest cons, because if it rained (which it didn't), we would all have to go in the water (jk) or the nearest bathroom which was located a walk away - back into one of the buildings, around a 5 min walk. I believe they had exact number of seats during the ceremony, short walk for the bride to walk up to the podium. Pretty cute, but tightly seated. I remember lamb chops (which I didn't get to try!) and a burger bar, along with the charcuterie board contents for the cocktail hour. Burger bar was very creative. We had an open bar throughout the whole ceremony.

The vending machines were all out of order and when I called down to the front office for extra water bottles I was hung up on. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Ever. The restaurant in the parking lot is also filthy, trash bags overflowing and leaking onto the boardwalk. People outside smoking and nip bottles everywhere. So much false advertisement about this whole location, what a waste of a nice view of the water. Atrocious.

Relatively clean for the price point and an adequate breakfast with good coffee. The first day they failed to service the room at all. I don't mind reusing the towels but the room was so damp they did not dry. So off to the desk where a flustered desk clerk scrounged clean towels from the laundry room. The second day they serviced the room (we specifically requested it), but we arrived back in the room at 10 pm to find they had taken away the dirty towels but not left clean bath towels. The front desk clerk, nearly in tears, explained she only had one clean towel and gave it to us. I went to the laundry room myself and scrounged some clean bath mats to use at towels. Indeed at ten am the third day when we left the hotel, we asked and were told that the towels "were still in the dryer." In what world is it acceptable for even a budget hotel to leave guests with NO bath towels? This was a failure on the part of the housekeeping manager to have appropriate systems in place and be sure they are followed. And someone should have stayed late to finish the load of towels. And the hotel should always have 50-100 spare towels. Terrible customer service. Worst of all, when we arrived, we found a pair of men's underwear that did not belong to us in the floor of the closet. And the hotel had some unsightliness. A second floor room that was storage for spare furniture had no window covering and the light was left on, so it looked like a junked up mess visible to all at night. Also the curtains in the laundry room were tied off in a knit and similarly visible to anyone outside the hotel. And dehumidifiers in the first floor hallways. All this implies a hotel badly in need of maintenance and an overhaul in management. Not what we expect of IHG properties. We come to this area regularly to visit family, but we will never stay here again.

Staff was quick to sling drinks, plenty of swag available, excellent selection of grab and go beer if in a hurry. Very casual and cool atmosphere. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Great for groups, reserve for private events, come down for trivia in Wednesdays or keep an eye on their calendar for other events. Building had been beautifully redone and just a chill vibe with some light music in the background that doesn't overpower your conversation. Stop in and check it out next time you are in Bristol!!

Love this addition to Bristol!…read more The shared parking lot is huge, making this an easy spot to access near other new local businesses - there's food, a distillery, and coffee shop right nearby, making this new plaza a great spot to hop around and spend a day or evening. The taproom here is huge - acoustics can be a little tricky if they have live music, so you may want to check their events page ahead of time if you want to be able to hear your company clearly. That said, I've seen some great local artists here - everything from a 4 person DMB cover band to a solo acoustic performer with an angelic voice. A+ for putting effort into the programming! The beer list is quite long. I love their sours when they have them on top, which isn't always but a good portion of the time. Other than sours their beers are not my most favorite in the world, but still yummy with lots of variety to taste around. It's a great spot to hang out with quirky decor, high ceilings, and lots of events.
