Pivotal had some very good brews and was a cute stop! We stopped in to try some different beers on tap and play some board games while getting out of the sun for a little bit. The staff were super nice. The only unfortunate part was that they didn't have many options for non-beer drinkers. Yes, it's a brewery. I wish there were a few other cider/seltzer options. Also, the table we sat out wasn't the cleanest. There were some sticky parts and we unfortunately got some red rust or paint or something that rubbed off on our clothes.

I came to Pivotal for the first time after running the Bristol Half Marathon. There was a free beer offered to runners, and I got that and it was good. There were multiple brews I wanted to try, so I ended up getting a flight. Delicious beer! I also like that you could order food and bring it in. My husband and I ordered from Brick next door and it was nice just walking over to pick it up and bring it back while we enjoyed some brews. I want to come back as there's a couple more I want to try!

I love the industrial vibe at this location. The vibe inside is pretty cool, and there are some outdoor options as well. They had a good selection of beer, as well as as hard tea, which I opted for. My husband and cousin got an IPA, which they enjoyed. I really enjoyed the Blackberry Lemon Hard tea, and actually grabbed a 4 pack to take home! Service was great! The guys at the bar were super helpful and gave us some samples to help us pick the right thing. Overall, cool place to check out if you're in the area. There are some food spots around also. So if you're hungry, make sure to stop somewhere and bring some to enjoy while you have a beer at Pivotal!

If you are in the Bristol, RI area please do yourself a favor and swing by Pivotal Brewery. A great selection of beer and seltzers. The rotation changes and it covers a wide spectrum for beer enthusiasts. The service always goes above and beyond. The brewery is VERY Pet-Friendly inside and outside, so please bring your 4 legged buddy. Huge parking lot and there are lots of options to grab food and bring it to the brewery. They provide menus for lots of places nearby to get some terrific food options. They will run an occasional Food Truck and kindly ask to order from the food truck during those times. Swing by and enjoy!

This place was recommended to us by some of the locals in the Bristol area. We were amazed by the super vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. First off, we loved that this industrial building was repurposed into what is now Pivotal Brewing. It's just something you don't see everyday. They had plenty of seating, a few patio games and live music performances. This brewery was the perfect hangout spot for our friends. The beer selection seemed great, there was a lot of diversity and experimental beers. Everything we had was delicious and flavorsome. Great vibes, great service and great beer. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Hubby & I were at Brick Pizza Co. for the first time & noticed there was a brewery next door so we just had to stop in. Pivotal has super great space - high ceilings, lots of unique seating options, colorful decor, food cart for your munchy needs (on other days, when the food cart is not there, you can bring in your own food). We sat at the bar & chatted with a lovely young lady bartender. She explained the different options & let us sample a couple of beers to see which we wanted to try. Hubby went with the Pivotal - a Czech-style pilsner, I went with a 4 choice sampler - Sippi (witbier with passion fruit & mango), Tea-La (hibiscus blackberry herbal hard tea), Sir (nitro ESB) & Midnight (Czech-style dark lager). For both of us, the Pivotal pilsner was our favorite but I definitely enjoyed the unique options in my sampler. If you are in the neighborhood, I recommend stopping in to check out Pivotal.

Fun and funky local brewery. Decor inside is a mixture of mismatched furniture and walls with different decor. The building itself is gorgeous with amazingly tall ceilings, large windows, and lots of brick. It was formerly a mill building. Service is quick. We only ordered beer. I do not know if they also offer food. The beer was very good, though! Will be back.

This place is GORGEOUS. The servers were so helpful and informative. Between the 2 of us, we had flights w/ about 10 various beers. Great variety. It's hard to choose but I think my favorite is All Things Reconsidered. I'm glad I didn't let the lack of a changing table stop us from having a 5 star experience at a beautiful repurposed old textile mill in the heart of an adorable town. Ugh. A changing table. At a BREWERY.

I rarely ever go to breweries, but recently came here with a friend while waiting for our food from Basil & Bunny. I was pleasantly surprised at the space in this place. It's huge, artsy, and has a ton of seating options. It's such a cute and fun place to meet up with friends. I got a blackberry hard tea that was pretty tasty. My friend got a non-alcoholic beer. He was happy that they offered that option because he said that a lot of places often don't. The woman who was working was very nice and personable. Highly recommend !

Very impressive brewery in my hometown. We visited for the first time on Father's Day and well, everything from the name, to the taps and decor had a lot of thought behind it. Every piece of furniture is mismatched and makes you feel at home. Whether it's the comfort of the 70s sofa or the end table you may recognize from your granite table house, this place is so welcoming. The garage door entry has that "Portland" feel and the energy is great from the moment you walk in. There is plenty of seating, games to play and many manus from local businesses to order some snacks. The draft offering was almost overwhelming they had to much to try. The chalkboard background for the taps was so smart. They also pour from cans so you can literally try every beer they make. They also sell cans to go, which is always good. We tried a mix of beers but my favorite was the Cone Carnage DIPA. The beertenders were friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. I really do love everything about this place and Avi am glad it opened up so close to home.

Carol and the serving staff are amazing! The craft beers are incredible! Highly recommend a visit to Pivotal Brewing. Got a flight tasting of several beers (all very good), found a couple that were top-notch, and hung-out in their lounge area (of vintage and unique seating/tables). Next time in Bristol, we're coming back for more.

As a Bristol visitor, a few friends and I were hoping to get a nice dinner in before heading over…read moreto Borealis for a fun jazz music-filled evening and Beach House was the perfect spot! When we first showed up, it wasn't super busy, but the place was starting to get full, and we DID have to get a reservation to ensure that we weren't waiting/to make sure we were at our next spot on time. A fun little addition to this restaurant is that they also double as an ice cream shop which would have been the PERFECT dessert for me if I wasn't so full after my dinner. The indoor seating we were put in was a high top, but it was just enough room to seat 5 people comortably. I ordered the Bayview Burger paired truffle fries (chose to upgrade from normal fries), and it was the absolute most perfect choice! I also tried the Brussel Sprouts, but I would say if you like them crispy all the way through, these were not. I also had a fun mocktail with a dragonfruit (unfortunately can't find the name of the drink, but the picture is below) to pair with my food--I will say that while it was tasty, it was pretty sweet but was the perfect pair with my Bayview Burger, which was a bit on the saltier side. The only downside to our experience is that once it did start getting pretty busy in the restaurant, the service was much much slower (which is a given with how busy it was) and we had to ask a different waiter to help us get our check and head out. Other than that, it was a wonderful choice for dinner and I would recommend this restaurant anytime!

Their menu is a little weird and really expensive for what it is in my opinion. I was planning to…read moreorder the pork dumplings because I thought some dumplings in the appetizer were shrimp and some were pork, but they were blended together so we got the Hawaiian teriyaki chicken tenders instead. They're $19 for 5-6 and were dry but the flavor was good. Usually this kind of place gets me to order a burger but it was $26 and an extra $3 for sweet potato fries, so I just couldn't justify it. A side of sweet potato fries is $7 but I couldn't justify that either without knowing the size. I ended up just getting s'mores ice cream (which you can get at the ice cream shop down the steps or order from the table) and it was maybe the most expensive ice cream I've bought! It also took forever to the ice cream we ordered table side to come-- I think it would've been faster to just order it myself. The s'mores ice cream was SO GOOD THOUGH. Best s'mores ice cream i've had, albeit quite melted by the time it got to us. Our waitress was nice and I'm sure it was an overwhelming day to be working. There's not AC inside but I think people come to sit outside and by the water so maybe that's fine. Personally I love AC so I was a little disappointed by how hot it was inside. They played religious music inside which also irked me a little but it might've just been for the 4th? Probably wouldn't come back to Beach House but glad we got to try it. Might come back to the sugar shack for their sundaes, which are $3 more for 3 scoops.

I had the osso bocco. It was a large portion , falling off the bone deliciously seasoned with a tasty spinach, grits underneath. I enjoyed every bite. I was sorry I couldn't eat it all! I shared some with others telling them how delicious it was. My friend ordered the bolognese entree which she says is the best she has ever had. Their eggplant parm sandwich was recommended as well. My husband had the shrimp fettuccine, also delicious. The kids like their chicken tenders. Hostess was friendly and sat us right away. Waiter was so nice.
