The Christmas lights were a perfect touch.

This KOA was one of our favorites! As always, the employees were awesome and so welcoming. We ordered fire wood and it was delivered before we even walked back to our site! The cabin was awesome to still get a camping experience even during the winter. They have a huge dog park which was nice. I will say- these were the cleanest bathrooms I've ever been in! There's no bad site on the property- lake view no matter what! We will be back

Make Memories NOW! Cleanest camp ground we have ever been to , spacious camping spots , helpful and friendly staff ! Off the hook, special events at holidays!! We are locals but chose to book at this KOA because we heard their July 4 celebration was off the charts . And can I tell you it did not disappoint. We have a 19 foot travel trailer and we booked a site with full hook ups. There was plenty of room for our gazebo as well as a giant canopy, lots of seating ,and we were not on top of our neighbors. There were so many activities that your kids can do. It was endless fun for the kids . As a parent, It was very comforting to know that my son was safe navigating and exploring the campgrounds because it's in a very private area. We explored the bike trails, hiking trails, and they were very clean and cleared out of debris . We did choose to rent some fun little bikes, as well as a paddle boat for shits and giggles . The small lake there is a gorgeous and very peaceful. The campground itself is pristine, the restrooms, the trash cans, the public swings everything was clean . Not only was the staff kind and helpful. They were super fun as well. There were so many activities planned for July 4. I can't count them all. So many campgrounds, nickel, and dime you want everything and stack the campers in like sardines. This KOA campground was top notch had very reasonable and fair prices. We have already booked again for next year . If you are from out of town, you'll enjoy how close local beaches are as well as downtown. There's also a Charleston fun park that you could walk to including a putt putt little go karts and tons of arcade games for the kids. The fireworks over the lake were lit, pun intended . It was an amazing show and plenty of room for everyone to see. We did bring our dog and there was plenty of places for him to walk as well as a very spacious dog park . When we were at the pancake breakfast, we overheard other guest saying that this KOA was one of the cleanest KOA that they've ever stayed at . I have to agree. Will we see you there next year ? I hope so !

We stayed here with our son and his family during a baseball tournament. They have a gate you need a code for after 7pm. Found the campground to be very clean. The sites are a good size. Some have concrete patios and others don't. You will find a picnic table and firepit at each site. My only negative is there isnt enough signage around leading people to the exit. Also at this KOA you'll find cabin rentals, a pool, recreation center, campers kitchen, playgrounds, a small water play area, ice machines, bikes you can rent, kayak rentals, paddle boat rentals, a small store in the bldg you check in. They have 2 good size ponds that you can fish and a nature trail. The campground is close to a Walmart, McDonalds, Paneta Bread and more. We really enjoyed our time here.

The nature trails and dog park was great. We really enjoyed staying here. The staff were super nice and waving when we would walk by. The sites were clean and trash would be picked up as soon as we put it out. Lots of workers and they were blowing off leaves to cleaning bathhouses to whatever needed done. You could tell they took pride in the place. They had a security gate and that allowed us to rest easier knowing we were safer. Great place! Would come back again!!

The trainers are motivating, and the community is very friendly and encouraging. It's worth noting that most of the members are women -- mainly middle-aged -- so men might feel a little outnumbered, but everyone is welcoming and focused on fitness. Overall, it's a great place to get in shape and be part of a positive, goal-oriented group!

I never in a million years would have expected to fall in love with working out, in a boot camp environment especially, but I have become obsessed with Burn. The trainer at this locations's name is Amos and he really is amazing. He is not at all what you would expect a trainer would be like at a boot camp. Amos is 100% encouraging, positive, and helpful while finding the perfect spot that pushes you to your limits. I have seen him modify these work outs for people with a wide variety of injuries so that every workout can be done by every person. Each workout every week (open 6 days a week) focuses on a different area of your body to target and is planned so that you can participate for most days even if you are sore. Burn is only 45 minutes but it is incredibly fast paced and before you know it, it's over and so is your workout time for the day! Burn focuses on the training of women but there are a few co-ed classes. They also have a free Saturday class if you are wanting to give it a try. They also offer free childcare for parents! They are usually running specials for people who want to try out Burn without fully committing such as a free two week trial as well as 8 week programs for discounted prices. Just go check this place out and see why everyone loves feeling the burn!!!!

There is a lot to like about visiting. My interactions with staff were all very positive. How nice and personable staff were really stood out for me and my kid. We came on a slow Sunday afternoon so parking was decently easy at the garage across the street. Since this was my first time everything was fun to see for the first time. We loved the otters, the large tank with mermaids, and the touch tank. My kid also loved the indoor playground which we spent a good deal of time at. I really love the blend of semi-outdoor areas and the sundeck area. I really loved the variety of fish and animals. It was also really cool to see the snowy white barn owl downstairs. I am not sure how I would feel had I bought tickets to visit and it will also be interesting to see how often animals change which makes multiple visits fun and interesting.

The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. That said, we expected more for the price of admission. The artist was Silvia Belviso Blair and I was informed that she provides private art lessons. Relatively new to the world of painting and stuck on a particular commission piece, I signed up for a class from Silvia. I was not disappointed. She is fantastic. In the hour that she spent with me, I learned so many useful tips that I continue to use on a very regular basis. She is patient, thoughtful with her instruction, and just a very talented artist. I decided to take an oil painting class from Silvia shortly thereafter. Having just moved, it was so nice to have the two locations (Mt. Pleasant and West Ashley) to choose from. Once again, Silvia's instruction did not disappoint and I have now transitioned from using mostly acrylics to working mostly in oils now. The classes were mellow and my fellow classmates were a lot of fun - so much so that nobody paid attention to the time and Silvia was gracious enough to let us stay past our designated hour and a half if we chose to. The classes range from beginner/basic to very unique and I can't wait to explore them further. If you have a creative itch, I highly recommend the Blair Center!
