My rentals were great quality and I had no issues with them. The employees were helpful and ensured I was fitted properly and received the proper equipment to match my skill level. Four of us came in from out of town to ride this weekend and one bike had an issue with the pedal and crank threads. This store was the only store who had the helicoil thread repair we needed in stock but they were too backed up in their service department to work on the bike same day. We asked instead if we could buy the part we needed and take it to another store who had capacity to fix it today. They refused to sell us the part. We even offered to buy the part and pay for an hour of labor without them needing to do the labor to compensate them for their time. They still refused and when they saw how disappointed we were they smiled and said have a nice day as we were leaving as if to say how happy they were that they would not help us get back on the mountain today. Btw, the woman we were talking to said she was the manager so this wasn't a case of just an ill advised employee but rather just bad management decision. Advice to the owner and management of this store: try harder. Customer service is important. You should care more about your customers. Needless to say, we won't be going back to this store. I would not advise that you do either. Unless bad customer service is what you are seeking.

I stated that I would be stopping by on the morning of Sunday the 14th to check it out and purchase it. I was told the bike would be ready and waiting for me. I arrived at the shop on Sunday 11am only to discover the bike had not been pulled, unboxed and assembled yet--a process that takes between an hour to an hour and a half. I had just driven 96mi/2 hours to get there only to learn they failed to follow through with having the bike ready & waiting. As I left the shop, the Owner stopped me outside stating that he wanted to "help me". I asked him what exactly he meant by that, to which he responded "I'll have the bike built for you right now." Now, I'm thinking to myself this guy didn't have time to get it right prior to my arrival; yet, suddenly has found the time--My Time--to get it right after my arrival? Really? That's how it's done? I told the Owner I don't do business like this. No reputable business does. Since when did it become acceptable to presume upon a potential customers time? My plans for the day did not include waiting 1 1/2 hours for a bike build. This guy didn't even offer to buy me a cup of coffee while I waited. Furthermore, what prevented them from calling me ahead of time to inform me the bike wouldn't be ready & waiting? They had a day and a half! Also, I couldn't help but wonder as I drove home, if the Owner lost sight of the fact that as a paying customer, I was there to Help him and not the other way around. He needed to sell the bike; I don't need to buy. Lastly, if they can't be counted upon to assemble a bike when they said they would, or at least make a simple heads-up courtesy phone call, then what is there to make me think they can follow through with anything else? I can only imagine the headaches were there to be a warranty issue or a simple return. Not Good! Scott M. Colchester, Vt.

My friend and I are recreational bikers and I have never ridden on an e-bike. There are not many people I would trust to be my guide on my 1st e-bike tour-especially on Vt. back roads . When I became aware that Boot Pro offered guided tours, I knew I'd finally be able to indulge in the sport. Alex and Shon took the time to teach us how to ride confidently And safely. Both are amazing ambassadors of the Green Mountain State. Their passion for their community and their craft is contagious! I can't recommend this enough! If you're in the area, and want to experience REAL Vt on an e-bike...spend a morning touring with Boot Pro. You will not be disappointed!
