This place has quality products, they are nice and fast but the rolls are terrible! I would go there more if the rolls were better!

Going in the place you would think cheap deli. But this is the opposite. Love small spots but I'd rather get a sandwich from jersey mikes

Highly recommend the Italian sub with O&V, onion, tomato and very hot cherry pepper relish. Just perfect.

They're a great local deli and have wonderful breakfast sandwiches. They're a community staple and family owned.

We decided it was worth the gamble, and boy did we hit the jackpot. We loved the BYOB option, proudly flaunting local beers while most tables had a bougie bin of ice helping to chill their wines. As we sipped on our own version of bubbly, we started with a couple of delicious appetizers - meatballs and fried burrata. While both were great, the meatballs were the clear winner, served hot in a small cast iron skillet. Moving to the main course, the pasta ragu was another hit. It had a bit of a peppery undertone, but wasn't spicy, just a wonderful blend of spices that gave it a unique flavor. For dessert, I had an apple-based dish that was a special that night. While again another creative showing, I think I'd stick to some of the simpler options on the menu (like a Caramelized banana split - YES PLEASE)

For dinner, tried the shrimp rigatoni (ridiculously good) and the ribeye. Steak was good, I just didn't love the sauce. It wasn't bad, I just prefer my steaks seasoned but dry with a lil char and full of flavor inside. Nonetheless I still enjoyed it. Staff provided great service and the new location is in a great spot, well designed, great ambiance, much bigger and pretty easy to find parking. If you haven't been to Jessica's, it's a must do. This gem that was relatively under the radar for years, is now being discovered. But the quality and consistency remains.

The restaurant is small and comfy, with 4-seat tables lined up against one wall and the opposite wall being taken up by a counter and counter seats. Pictures of food hang on both walls and four brown ceiling fans hang from the ceiling. The restaurant's color scheme is very "latte", as the main colors are white and beige and only one part of the wall is red. Daughter ordered the fried flounder with 2 over easy eggs and grits with wheat bread. She said that the fish was nicely fried and crunchy. It didn't need tartar or cocktail sauce. She said it was her first time eating a breakfast item like this and her taste buds had never felt this sensation before. LOL. Hubs ordered the pinto con chorizo with sunny side up eggs. The server warned him that the sausage was spicy, but he didn't care. When we came here, Hubs didn't expect Hispanic food for brunch and was so surprised and so happy. He found the first item that he can see and translate and was happy he did. The chorizo had a nice spunk to it. He was happy that he got rice and beans instead of home fries and what a delightful change! The chips were also nice and crispy. Lastly, I had waffles with mixed fruit. I LOVED my waffles because it was nice and crunchy. The mixed fruit were bananas, strawberries, grapes and blueberries. They were a nice touch. I was asked if I wanted whipped cream and I said yes. Coffee was freshly brewed and it was nice and strong. It wasn't ordinary diner coffee. Hubs was happy about getting his cup refilled. Service was fast and really friendly. The waiter was always smiling. Parking is street parking. When we were there, it was free parking. Neighborhood was a bit sketchy, though. We were thinking of checking out the flea market across the street but changed our minds. Glad we got to try this place! Maybe one day, we'll be back.

Almost Home is a trendy cafe that has gorgeous wall decor, a comfy couch (if you want to enjoy your order without a table meal), and incredible food. They also have an adjacent parking lot, which was justifiably packed. Our Server was Maddie and she did an exceptional job throughout the entire meal. She gave appreciated recommendations and her coworkers kept us comfortable and satiated. All three of the beverages were nicely presented and thoroughly enjoyed: Pistachio Latte, Pumpkin Spice Latte, and a Shaken Espresso. Personally, the Shaken Espresso was VERY GOOD. It was served in a tall glass and the cinnamon, once stirred throughout the entire glass, elevated the taste to deliciousness. Now, onto the entrees: Blueberry Pancakes (two buttermilk pancakes, topped with blueberry compote, whipped ricotta, and powered sugar). I was told, that these were the best pancakes they've ever had. My entree was the Ricotta Toast (house whipped ricotta, topped with roasted tomatoes, local NJ honey, and balsamic glaze). This was my first time having Ricotta Toast and it was better than any other Avocado Toast I've ever had. The ricotta was smooth, creamy, and the glaze gave every bite a pleasantly sweet addition to the already delectable selection. Almost Home General has skyrocketed to the top of my breakfast/brunch options and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT, again. If Westfield is too far, they have other locations (Westwood, Jersey City, and Lincroft). Oh, and btw, they all have Google ratings of 4.5 and above. Nuff said.

They offer a year-round menu along with seasonal specials; however, it seems there's a small gap during menu transitions, so I'd recommend calling ahead to see what's available before your visit. I missed the chance to try their seasonal menu, but I opted for a Mocha Latte, a Vanilla Bean Latte, and a Honey Drop Latte. The Mocha was definitely the favorite! They also have a nice variety of pastries, as well as some grab-and-go fruits and snacks. One small tip: make sure to scan the wall for the food menu. It isn't posted on the main board or at the counter, so we actually missed it at first since it was toward the back wall. The pastries are at the front so we ended up getting a spinach and feta pastry. Overall, it's a solid spot to check out if you're in the area!
