Steak was absolutely fantastic--cooked perfectly and full of flavor. This place is seriously underrated and deserves more attention. Ashley was outstanding--she made great recommendations, nailed my food choices, and was amazing with my daughter, which really stood out. The pricing was more than fair for what we got, and the ambiance really tied it all together. It had a true Texas stockyard feel, like the steak came straight from the yard to the plate. My granddaughter and I came in for lunch and we couldn't believe how empty the parking lot was at noon. We decided to give it a try anyway because we loved the look of the place from the outside and plus my granddaughter wanted a steak. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated right away. The lunch menu was pretty expansive so it took us awhile to decide. Tannah took our drink order and we both got tea. Ahhhh, it was fresh brewed and delicious! She also brought us a basket with warm rolls. Yum! I ordered the brisket tacos. They came with a side so I chose a side salad. Wow! What a lot of food. I needed my husband here to split it with me. I could only eat 2 of the 3 tacos. I'm glad I said no more rolls when she asked. The tacos were delicious! My granddaughter ordered the 6 oz sirloin med well and a Caesar salad. Both of our salads were fresh and the dressing was delicious. She was really impressed with the juiciness of her steak! We both agreed that we loved the rustic decor with a western theme. First thing is our waiter was amazing his was extremely attentive if you had to request ask for AJ. The vibe at this place is incredible it really gives old west vibes. Now the food is the only part where I have some minor criticisms I ordered the New York strip medium rare it was cooked perfectly. But the steak was lacking in flavor. We weren't fond of the food nor the server. I ordered a steak salad and when everyone's food was coming out they alerted me they were out of steak. I had to choose a substitution for my salad topper and I chose the brisket. Yikes. It was so greasy and inedible. I didn't wind up eating it. The server was pretty rude and the hostess was as well. We paid and tipped and didn't complain because it honestly wouldn't have done any good. We just took it as a loss and will remember to not visit again on our next trip. My daughter ordered a club sandwich and a potato and she ate the potato but she said the sandwich wasn't great. My husband ordered ribs and a steak and they were "out of steak". The waitress said she thought they had one steak for my salad and that's why mine came out with theirs with no topper. read more

As of writing the review, I have heard they're shutting down! Which, I won't be sad because this place wasn't very good. The fish...way too greasy! The cole slaw...who on earth made this stuff? It was served sizzling hot and full of flavor! It could not have been better! Seasoning was similar to my wife's chili. It stayed hot thanks to the very hot skillet until I finished it all. My only criticism is that we were too full to have dessert. Our waitress was excellent, checking on us several times, very attentive and pleasant. Having eaten in Texas dozens of times, Fort Worth Steakhouse is definitely worth a stop when in Sevierville TN! Start off, they were out of the twinkies and mushrooms. Which was sad we really wanted to try those twinkies out. Food was ok. The steaks were thin like pancake, my husband had the ribeye and it was thin, looked like it was a kids steak, I had the sirloin was good, the shrimp add on was not worth it. We ordered an app and it was forgotten came out same as our entrees (it was just chips and queso)Montana was a great server great personality I just think he may had forgot to put the app in possibly. My husband and I went with 3 other couples to celebrate his 50th birthday! It was the worst experience and worst steaks we have ever had. 2 of us had ribeye's and they were very bland, no seasoning whatsoever. 2 people had filets and they were very dry and over cooked. One of them sent it back and the other that came wasn't any better. One person ordered prime rib and they brought him a ribeye out, he sent it back and they finally brought out the right one, which was very tough! We were torn between restaurants because there's so many places to choose from. We ended up choosing this restaurant because it looked like our vibe. We regret that decision. We ordered the Lonestar Nachos and the Chicken Fried steak. Our bill was $50 just for the 2 of us (we ordered water for drinks.) The nachos were an absolute pitiful joke. Everything was dry and tasteless, like a child made them in the microwave. Our entrees were greasy, like the oil hadn't been changed in a while. We recently were down in Sevierville for my sisters wedding, this was our first stop. The moment we got into Sevierville everyone was needing some food. Our friends found this place and thankfully they weren't busy & got us seated immediately. It's tough for me to give 5 stars since there is always room for improvement. Fort Worth Steakhouse does not fit this mold. From the moment we walked in the esthetics were great. The wait was reasonable for a Saturday night, about 15min. Let me start with our appetizers, unfreaking amazing, the sweet tea amazeballs, the main course Steak rib eye was fantastic. Pretty empty place. Waited 10 minutes at our table and finally someone came to get our drink order. He said they couldn't find our server, but they'd get us started. We ordered steaks and they were inedible. We didn't complain and they noticed the full steaks left, but no one offered to fix it. The quality of meat has gone down everywhere, but from start to finish this place was disappointing. With so many great places to choose from, we definitely won't be back! Service and wait time was good, interior below average, had 2 appetizers the stuffed mushrooms tasted fishy almost spoiled like but the corn was about average, had ordered the 12oz ribeye and the porterhouse. Both cooked perfectly but no flavor what so ever. The porterhouse was tough and really a low quality meat for the $48 price tag. The ribeye was the same. The shrimp skewer was flavorful but over cooked. Had broccoli as the side and that was really better tasting than anything we ate. The coffee tasted good as well. The interior was nothing special at all. We also waited for over an hour to get our food and they took the appetizers off the bill. For $102 for party of 2 it's not worth going even though the place is in a high tourist area. Better steak house down the road from this place. read more

Instead I ordered the ribeye because that's the only thing I could get on the spot, and my husband ordered the New York strip. Both were a tough cut of grizzle & overdone / medium & medium well, how hard could it be to not cook overdone?? Especially when it's a cheap, tough cut of meat. And, we had terrible service. Nobody came to ask if they were done as ordered, or if we liked the steaks. Nobody came to check on the wellness or doneness of the steaks. And, on top of the bad cut of meat & service, they only offer one side with a $30-35 steak dinner, & if you want an extra side or salad, they charge 5/6 dollars extra for any side you order after the included ONE side with the overpriced steak cuts. What a pitiful, pitiful excuse for a restaurant, the extra broccoli & asparagus we paid for was old & dried/over cooked. Five dollar side salad was tiny. Do yourself a favor and skip this place, you'll be better off. Frequent a steakhouse or steak restaurant that's has better quality & reviews. There are plenty of good ones in Sevierville, like Long Horn Steakhouse, Chop House, or Texas Roadhouse to name a few. read more

My wife and I attempted to get a table at this restaurant at 9 pm on Valentine's Day (2/14/2026) and didn't have a reservation; we are from NC visiting Pigeon Forge, TN. When I came inside there were 2 other groups waiting in line, group of 3 early 20s, an older couple, and myself. We waited for 15 minutes before someone finally came to the front which was a young blond headed white man (didn't get his name). He spoke with the two groups ahead of me who looked liked they put their name on a waiting list. When it was my turn, a large group of about 7 - 9 people came in to be seated because their table was ready. I moved closer to the counter to make sure he saw me which he did but turned from me to address the large party. He took them to their table and came back about 10 minutes later to tell me they are no longer taking walk-in's. He said they stopped putting names on the list at 9 pm and I got there too late. I explained I had been in line since 9 to which he implied I was lying because he didn't see me. I recalled everyone he had interacted with before me as proof I was there but he kept asking if I was on the list. Obviously I was not as that was exactly what I was trying to do. He got his manager who greeted me but said very little. He said they stopped taking walk-ins at 8:30 which is different than what the host said. He didn't care. I asked if it was normal and ok to leave people waiting in line for over 20 minutes before telling them you are basically closed. He said we get to it when we get to it, again he didn't care. I asked why not put a sign in the door to which he laughed saying he's not allowed. What was funny? Waisting 25 minutes of my time that we could have spent finding another restaurant. He just didn't care. I said some choice words (which I probably shouldn't have) and left. They had 15 open tables in the restaurant mostly cleaned which tells me they were trying to clean up prior to closing. If the food is anything like their customer service then we dodged a bullet. Tables sat after us were served before us. The bread was cold. Sweet potato tots very undercooked. Steak was 50% fat and gristle. They ran out of sweet potatoes by 5pm. Bathrooms were clean, but out of paper towels. Plus side- our server did keep my drink full and the food came out quickly. We sat about 20 minutes, after finishing our meal, waiting to pay and leave. Appetizer: Texas Twinkies had no meat in them, the bacon was super soft and undercooked. (I asked for them to crisp it up a bit to try to prevent that.) We ordered them first and waited a VERY long time for them BEFORE ordering our entrees. Waiter kept saying just another minute and that he checked on them. So after him asking again, we ordered our entrees. They came after we already received our salads for our entrees. House salad was good, I asked to add the pickled onions, and they have "good" ranch. Steak: I ordered a filet medium rare and got medium well. I usually don't send food back, but it was closer to well done to be honest. Then they brought me a rare steak.... Other than that, it was a good cut of beef! My husband ordered the prime rib and he said it was ok, but nothing was "great" and that he wouldn't be back. The only good food at this restaurant involves brisket. The brisket sandwich is very good and the brisket nachos are the best thing on the menu. The hamburgers are dry and tasteless. The pulled pork as well. They have free, endless rolls but they are not near as good as Texas road house rolls. I recommend getting the brisket nachos and possibly the brisket sandwich but nothing else. Service was very slow. We were fast to get drinks but the food took over half an hour to get to us. There are no booths to sit in at this location and most all tables are within 10 feet of the bar which I did not like. read more
