The staff is excellent and very attentive. The food came out quickly and was hot. The restaurant was very clean.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Cherokee Grill. We had a 7:15 reservation and when we arrived a few minutes early we were promptly seated. The restaurant is large and has ample seating for any size groups. The service was a bit slow but the restaurant was full and our waitress was working quite a few tables. Having said that our food arrived as ordered and was delicious. I highly recommend you making a reservation and enjoy your dinner.

Hey yelp? What happened to the review I already wrote? Why do you keep deleting them, then asking me to write another one?

A wonderful steakhouse in the heart of Gatlinburg. Everything is made fresh down to the sauces and butter! Service was friendly and quick and the atmosphere is welcoming and clean. We sat by the window so we even got to see a bear as he visited outside. Highly recommend placing reservations as they stay packed! Order the apple cobbler dessert you won't be disappointed! (Photos from two visits which shows consistency!)

Calamari

We visited last week. I used to say this was my favorite restaurant and have always looked forward to stopping here when in Gatlinburg. Unfortunately over the years, the quality seems to be on the decline. The hostess didn't smile, didn't speak, just motioned to follow her. That was disturbing. Drinks were delicious and calamari was ok. A bit greasy but ok. Family ordered two filets and prime rib and they were cooked to perfection. My ribeye was not cooked as requested and way overcooked. I wasn't able to resolve as the waitress didn't come back to see how our meal was cooked. I only ate a few bites so that was very disappointing. The following day we visited The Park Grill, right next door, and it was fantastic. Next visit I will likely spend my dollar at The Park Grill.

Bruschetta

This was some of the BEST bruschetta I've ever had! They were able to accommodate and not have cheese on had but the balsamic and tomato mix was so flavorful! The pork chop was also super tender and I was able to split this in half, the portion was great! This was for a date night and the service was great, our waitress offered lots of recommendations and the scenery wasn't something to miss!

Not much to add to my first review other than the quality and service are still top notch! We got there at 5 pm on a Wednesday and there was no wait. Service was fast and super helpful and friendly. The bread at the beginning is good but "herby" according to my husband. Last time we ordered filets, so this time we tried the ribeyes and were definitely not disappointed! Wonderful quality and cooked perfectly (medium, as ordered). I started to get a different side but I loved the blue cheese grits so much last time, I just had to get them again. Yesterday's fruit cobbler of the day was apple, my favorite, so we finished it off with a shared hot apple cobbler and vanilla ice cream. This has quickly been added to our "must have" list when visiting Gatlinburg.

Being from Metro Atlanta, I would rate this right up there with Houston's or Brookwood Grill. Nice and consistent! We stopped in for lunch and had a good experience. The parking was perfect!! Easy to park and they validate. No having to park in the busy deck and walk. The food was really good.

This place is definitely a no go. From horrible food to being the only place in America that charges for sweet tea refills. Went there for my wife's birthday while visiting Dollywood and felt completely blindsided. I ordered chicken with vegetabl gravy. the surprise was that vegetable gravy was code word for pimento cheese with water. First question they asked was have we tried them before which the answer was no. ordered sweet tea but got unsweetened tea. so I requested an Arnold Palmer instead. The waitress said she understood and brought me another. We finished as much as we could bare to eat before asking for the bill to my shock our drinks cost more that our food and don't forget we only order regular drinks. would not be going back ever.

we came in on tuesday evening the week of thanksgiving and waited about 30 minutes for a table for two. this was pleasant considering reservations are recommended as they book very far out! service was friendly and attentive. we had the ribeye and it was great. definitely recommend the hash potato type of side dish (neva's), as other reviews recommended this and we were glad we listened! the restaurant itself feels a little nicer than the other sports bars around gatlinburg, but not so fancy that you'll feel out of place wearing jeans or comfortable clothing.

Philly Cheesesteak

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this steakhouse while on a brief weekend getaway in Gatlinburg. We rated Cherokee Grill a 5/5 due to the quick service, drinks, quality of the food, and overall price. I ordered the 7oz filet medium rare, and the chef knows how to grill a steak correctly. My boyfriend ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and said it was really good. Would eat here again.

The service was incredible. The food was pretty good. I prefer steaks that are not pre marinated. Catfish was good, Asian steak salad was overpowered by sauce. Mac and cheese and blue cheese grits are unique, but I liked them,

Classiest place we found in Gatlinburg, and they had really delicious ahi tuna, burgers, and more. The service and setting were outstanding.

We are coming to Gatlinburg Aug. 4th for my sons wedding at the Chapel in the Park. Wedding starts at 1:30 should be over by 2:30. We are looking for a place to have a small dinner/reception. Around 50 people. Is there dancing space?

Check Calhoun's banquet and catering, it's right behind this restaurant. Similar ownership I believe and food is delicious!!

Yet again, returning with family - our appetizers came out, STALE. And way to turn the place into a tourist attraction with a photographer taking table photos while guests are chewing their food (and turning around trying to sell it to you). Poor taste! Our waitress was flustered and continued to joke about her inability to properly care for her tables. When it came to ordering, she told us many items we wanted to order were not good and shouldn't get them. After quickly shifting to an alternative, one meal came out with the wrong bread changing the entire dish - multiple meals cold and chicken not thoroughly cooked thru. Out of 5 meals - the only thing that came out with quality was a burger and fries. To round out the night, our waitress closed things out not asking how dinner was or if to-go boxes were needed but in fact stated, "I can understand if y'all didn't enjoy your dinner". The individuals serving your customers are bad for business and we will never recommend nor return to your establishment. Let us know when management decides to go back to your roots.

We each had a cocktail, which made for a relaxing dinner after a day of exploring. One of our favorite parts of the evening was the river view. We were fortunate to get a last minute reservation with a table overlooking the water and it made for such a peaceful dining experience. If you're planning to visit, I'd definitely recommend making a reservation online ahead of time if you can. We were fortunate to find a last-minute opening, but I can definitely see why this place stays busy. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily return on one of our future trips to the Smoky Mountains.

As for the food, it was honestly pretty underwhelming considering how hyped this place is. The crab dip was okay, nothing memorable. The steak and lobster was disappointing- the lobster had that soft texture that overcooked or not-so-fresh crawfish can have. The baked shrimp wasn't bad, but definitely not something I'd order again. Strawberry shortcake was decent enough. Ironically, the bread basket ended up being my favorite part of the meal-absolutely delicious. The service, however, was genuinely warm and hospitable. It was a bit slow, but the staff was kind, friendly, and personable enough that it made up for it. That was honestly the highlight of the experience. Was I excited to try this place because of all the hype? Absolutely. Would I personally recommend it? Probably not.
