Found this awesome place just East of Snoqualmie pass and it did not disappoint. We were wet and cold from sledding and their newly opened shop did not disappoint. Heated indoor seating space with games and large family style tables, perfect for 3 young families and guests. This place was taken over a year or so ago by the original owner's son and family. It's such a great spot, we hit it up on our way to our family cabin. I know a few were upset that the prices went up a little bit, but it's still soooooo reasonable (it's literally ONE DOLLAR more for an extra patty.) and the kids working there are super nice and you can order online which is super awesome when you have family members that desperately need to be fed. read more

Was insanely good. Was on a long drive and was not expecting the 15 min wait, but boy was it worth it!! Typically would have taken I-5 but would go through the mountains and add two hours to my drive again just to stop here and get another burger. My mouth is watering just writing this. This place is fantastic. From the service to the food. You pull around the right hand side to order at the window, they give you a buzzer, and you pull to park to wait in your car or you can head inside. We had the Cascade Burger, Volcano Burger, kids cheeseburger, onion rings, sweet potato fries (not on the menu, but they do have it!), and a raspberry milkshake. The burgers were all amazing, I believe they use potato buns? They're super soft/pillowy. The French fries are those breaded ones, you know the ones that are super crunchy? Have a flaky/crispy outer layer? The ones that descend from heaven themselves? Yeah those. FANTASTIC. The sweet potato fries left a lot to be desired, lack of crispiness and they need a specific sauce to go with them. Maybe if they sprinkled some brown sugar on to finish them they'd be a bit better? The milkshake was one of the best I've had. I originally inquired about the banana milkshake, but I was told they use a banana syrup vs fresh bananas. Always been one of my favorite burger joints. Today was awfully irritated. They got rid of the dining area. Which also means the bathroom. And the porta loo is gone as well. Had to drive my pickup and trailer through the drive through as that's now the only way to order. And then walk back to the drive through to get my food. We have been coming here pretty much since Mountain-high opened when we were camping over at Easton State Park with the kids. We don't get over east like we used to. But after going to Owens Meats and Careks. we knew where to wrap up our lunch. It's no big deal that you can't dine in. They have such a beautiful outside setting. the wait is worth it. Now the review. We have not been there for a long time but Lord have mercy. It is such a good tasty burger. Where the burger meat it to the edges of the bun and the bacon is bomb. Great spot on a lonely highway through the mountains. If you're hungry, stop here and get the Mt. Stuart burger which has both bbq sauce and thousand island on it. We have driven by this place for years while going over the mountains, and only recently when we started seeking out the best burger in Washington, did we decide it was time to stop and check this place out. It's just off the freeway on the east side of the summit, just down the road from a larger more visible café. Rainier burger with bacon as well as a Mt. Adams Burger - which was a mushroom and swiss. We completed the transaction with onion rings and a chocolate shake, which has become our go to. In my opinion, the Rainier was among the better burgers that we've had during our travels. It was big, but not too big to take a bite, which we've learned is a real thing. The meet was good, the cheese melted and the bacon crispy... The only thing we would leave off in the future is the relish. I suppose there are some people that appreciate it, but for us it did not add much. The flavor of the mushroom burger was good but it was a little on the sloppy side - more of an observation than a complaint! Good flavor and one I'd eat again. The onion rings were solid and pretty straight forward . The shakes were slightly above average and we appreciated that they mixed flavors like peanut butter, chocolate, and banana. All in all, this place is a solid stop on our way over the mountains and a place that will definitely be near the top of the list during the Washington Burger quest. We stopped here for a quick bite to eat on our way to Eastern WA. Hubby wanted a burger so this seemed like a good place to stop. It is not too far off the highway, but it is tucked away in its own little corner. Inside is fairly small, but has about 5-6 tables. I got a grilled chicken sandwich and my husband got the messy burger. The cook gave him a lot of napkins for that one. My chicken sandwich was good. Great little gem hidden in Easton. We forgot to pack the hoses for our Blackstone when we went camping so went to grab a burger on National Hamburger Day! We were not disappointed with the burgers!
