    Mt. Rainier Burger

Mt. Rainier Burger from Mountain High Hamburgers in Easton. Burger: Bacon: Rings: Onion rings stole the show, but the burger is worth a stop when passing by along I-90. Double meat, double cheese, double bacon... Double Bastard! I will return at some point.

We stopped at Mountain High Hamburger after a long day rock climbing at Vantage. Our group was craving burgers and shakes, and Mountain High Hamburgers was the perfect stop. The burgers hit the spot and the shakes tasted super fresh and creamy. It was drive-thru only while we were there, but service was prompt and they walked our order out to the car which we much appreciated in the pouring rain. An unexpected and delicious find in the middle of nowhere!

Just off I-90, with a nearby espresso stand.

This is your classic fast-food burger drive-up with delicious deep-fried sides (French fries, onion rings, and bonus zucchini chips). Plus an excellent assortment of shake flavors (butterscotch, my favorite--hooray!). Frirndly service at the ordering counter. Very casual interior with tables and tall seats by the window. Easy to get to off the highway and conveniently located between Cle Elum and Roslyn. Definitely worth the stop.

This place is fantastic. From the service to the food. You pull around the right hand side to order at the window, they give you a buzzer, and you pull to park to wait in your car or you can head inside. We had the Cascade Burger, Volcano Burger, kids cheeseburger, onion rings, sweet potato fries (not on the menu, but they do have it!), and a raspberry milkshake. The burgers were all amazing, I believe they use potato buns? They're super soft/pillowy. The French fries are those breaded ones, you know the ones that are super crunchy? Have a flaky/crispy outer layer? The ones that descend from heaven themselves? Yeah those. FANTASTIC. The sweet potato fries left a lot to be desired, lack of crispiness and they need a specific sauce to go with them. Maybe if they sprinkled some brown sugar on to finish them they'd be a bit better? The milkshake was one of the best I've had. I originally inquired about the banana milkshake, but I was told they use a banana syrup vs fresh bananas. We were recommended the raspberry milkshake as they use a powdered/fresh mix and it was so good. Highly recommend!

Stopped by here on our way across the pass. Good little burger spot. The inside was closed so we dined outside which was great on a warm day. The burgers were cooked perfectly and the servers here were very nice and accommodating. Definitely worth stopping here.

Waited 40 minutes for 2 burgers and fries and most of the time there was no one else in the restaurant. The staff gave no warning it would take so long and offered no apology and was generally rude and abrasive. The food is ok, nothing special. Don't waste your time.

We have been coming here pretty much since Mountain-high opened when we were camping over at Easton State Park with the kids. We don't get over east like we used to. But after going to Owens Meats and Careks. we knew where to wrap up our lunch. It's no big deal that you can't dine in. They have such a beautiful outside setting. the wait is worth it. Now the review. We have not been there for a long time but Lord have mercy. It is such a good tasty burger. Where the burger meat it to the edges of the bun and the bacon is bomb. I will post some pictures. Not sure if you guys have a blue cheese bacon burger. That would be bomb. !!!

This little off the beaten path burger place hit just the spot! I'm so upset I haven't been there before during our trips to Eastern Washington. The prices were great, the food was delicious, the service was fast, and we left full, satisfied and happy. We definitely will be stopping again during our next road trip if time allows!

Proper Patty ($11) - This burger comes with two smash patties, both of which are heavily salted and somewhat crisped up - the pictures from other people make it seem like they cook long enough to get lacy caramelized edges, but it's not quite to that point. Instead, the burgers, while not moist and fatty, aren't dried out either, and give a great beefy flavor. The burger sauce adds some tangy sweetness, and some pickles on top adds even more sweetness, but a very fresh crunch. It's otherwise pretty standard with the lettuce and tomato. A solid smashburger. (4/5) Fries ($5) - These are fried enough to give a crust on the potatoes, but not enough for the fries to be come crisp. Still, they aren't floppy, so while not entirely crisp, these are still good for eating especially since the insides are nice and fluffy. They are salted a lot, which combined with the salty dip (we went with the Bud's Sauce), equals a parched mouth after eating. I think they actually use a lime salt or something as I can detect a bit of citrus flavor. The Bud's Sauce is a nice mayochup mixture with I think a bit of smokiness from paprika and some chopped onion. It's sweet, tangy, and salty. (4/5) Overall Burger Buds serves some nice classic smashburgers! It's great for a visit while in town for a quick and easy meal.

The wife's chicken basket was mediocre at best. Chicken strips and fries were something you could get out of the freezer section of your grocery store. Our issue was the quality of the hamburgers. All of our burger patties were cooked, but cooler and cold in middle. We got our food and immediately hit the road. We all noticed the issue with the food as we got onto I5... therefore turning around would have been a process. I imagine it's a cooking process of cooking the burgers, putting them in a pan by the grill and then rewarming the patties when needed. Unfortunately the burger patties did not warm up enough and it was pretty gross. Wasted $75 on food my family didn't eat. Bummer! However, everything else was good.
