Update: response received and appreciated! I'm just curious when the new rules took effect? This review is based on an order I tried to place today, but was refused! At a time where they should really accommodate the customer!! I was ordering 2 large pizzas and a personal pizza. I wanted to have 4 toppings on the personal and I was told I could only have 3! Since when? I've been doing this forEVER!! The girl told me they won't do it because as soon as they cut the pizza, the toppings will fall off! Seriously? What about a supreme pizza??! Nice clean inside space located in a plaza right on Discovery Bay Blvd. Plenty of TVs and a handful of arcade games. Nice staff, kindly let me use my Yelp 10% discount for checking in, in addition to the $5 in store discount for my XL pizza. Our go to pizza place. Kids love playing air hockey and other games while we wait for our pizzas. I have dietary restrictions and they accommodated me. I'm gluten sensitive, lactose intolerant and tomatoes/pizza sauce upset my reflux so I gave up pizza awhile ago. I decided to try their gluten free pizza. So yummy! Pineapple chicken luau (it uses bbq sauce instead of pizza sauce) and it is very flavorful and tastes great without cheese. Sometimes I bring in my own lactose free cheese and they will put it on my gluten free pizza. What really impressed me is how good the gluten free crust tastes as leftovers. Wednesday is buffet night. It's normally pretty busy and loud on Wednesday but our kids love it because they normally see friends from school. read more

this place is poorly ran... the owner needs to better train his young staff or replace them. i just don't go there anymore because of shitty service and some young employees with serious attitudes. don't call to order a pizza for pick up after 8:40, because the employees are in clean up mode or they use the excuse that... "the oven is turned off". i realize that most restaurants and fast food places are short handed, during this covid era that we all live in.......but hiring some young kids , who would prefer to be out and about, doing other stuff that young folks do, is a business killer. there are other mountain mikes in the brentwood area, that do a far better job at customer service, than the one poorly ran in discovery bay...........in fact round table is a good alternative or dominoes. mountain mike's ain't cheap, so you might as well try another pizza store.... avoid this pizza shop.... save your money........ besides the last pizza i had was $30 plus and the pizza was over cooked and down right nasty......zero stars.... read more

Ordered pizza for delivery. Was told it would be 45 minutes. It took an hour and fifteen to get here. Pizza was cold when it arrived. We ordered extra cheese on both and was charged extra for the extra cheese which is expected but there was hardly any cheese on either. You shouldnt be anle to see the crust and sauce if you ask and pay for extra cheese!! Not too happy. I will call Brentwood next time. Have always had great pizza from the brentwood location. This is an updated review - we are much much much happier with the food and service at the Mountain Mike's in Disco Bay. The salad is very fresh, the salad bar is kept stocked. Pizza consistency is no longer an issue. The restaurant is large, well kept and the customer service is excellent. Delivery is quick and the drivers are very friendly. The only reason I won't give 5 stars is because when it's cold outside the doors get left open by children running in & out and that affects diners comfort. It is not the fault of the restaurant - but maybe adding automatic door closers might be helpful. This is a family restaurant and a lot of kids are there all the time. read more

We stayed in Discovery Bay for a week. Had to have pizza one night. The order was perfect. The pepperoni was full of flavor. Great crust.

Was a good place with good pizza but that's changed. Last 3 times I've placed order they said 20 minutes but took between 30-45! Every time it's another excuse. We're busy, we had to make a mountain pizza and it takes the entire oven, place is empty and excuse is lots of deliveries. I can clearly see the oven is empty too? WTF? Don't make excuses just be honest. This last time oven was empty and they didn't put my pizza in oven until after I got there to pick it up 20 minutes after the order If it's going to take 30 minutes just say so. I don't want pizza sitting in box waiting on me but I certainly don't want to waste my time standing waiting on my pizza when I am told a certain time. Been her several more times and things seem to have returned to normal. Increased the rating. read more
