I've driven by this place many times. I finally decided to give them a try. First, the parking. If you come in weekends, holidays, or peak hours, parking can be difficult. There's other restaurants in the immediate area that use the same parking lot. As soon as you enter, you'll notice that there's plenty of seating and the place is kept clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu was easy to understand as well. Second, the food was great. I had the combo chicken strip and chicken slider and honestly, we could have shared. I've heard many great things about this place from coworkers and family, but it just didn't do it for me however I did get my Dave's hot chicken from DoorDash so I did not get it fresh. The website was easy to order from and everything was pretty straightforward. I imagine that ordering would be quick anyway since they have two touchscreens where you can order for yourself and two registers. I didn't wait long and it's reassuring when you can see if your food is ready on the screen. O - Overall Taste & Quality I ordered a mini slider meal with fries and surprisingly got full off of it. And I can eat a lot. The chicken was crispy and juicy. This slider was very flavorful with crispy pickles and crunchy, fresh slaw. And the crinkle cut fries just took me back to my childhood. Dear Manager, please share this with your team. I just left your restaurant a few minutes ago. It's located near my home, so I decided to stop by and order the cauliflower sandwich with fries. The gentleman who took my order was light-skinned, very kind, and respectful. I explained to him that I do not like mayonnaise, and he assured me that the coleslaw would be placed on the side and that no sauce would be put on the sandwich. He was also very informative and told me about the various spices used. After waiting for my food which I appreciated being cooked fresh I decided to check the sandwich before leaving. Unfortunately, despite our conversation, the sandwich had sauce on it. I repeatedly asked the staff what the sauce was made of, but no one seemed to know. One person guessed it was Cajun sauce, another thought it was ketchup, and another suggested it might contain mayo. I believe it's important for staff to know exactly what ingredients are in the sauces they're serving. Since the gentleman who originally took my order was no longer there, I spoke with another staff member, who was also kind. I explained the issue, and he agreed to have the sandwich remade. I requested that everything be remade, as is standard when a mistake is made with a food order. After waiting again, I received the new sandwich. Upon inspection, it appeared there was no sauce on it, which I appreciated. However, once I got home and began eating, I noticed some of the pickles still had remnants of sauce on them, and part of the bread also had some sauce. Additionally, the fries were cold. This led me to question whether the Team member in the back simply re-fried a new cauliflower, gave me back the same fries, and placed the sandwich back in the same box on the same bread, I pray to God not, but the sauce on the pickles and the little sauce on the bread made me feel like he did, and my fries were not fresh the second time around they weren't hot any longer. That is unacceptable and unhygienic. When an order is incorrect, everything should be remade, not partially reused. For a $15 meal, my expectation is proper handling. I'm disappointed with that part of my experience. Not to mention my cauliflower wasn't hot at all, I think he remade it mild just being careless. While the food had good flavor, this situation left a bad impression. This is the best chicken place in our area. I went here on a Sunday and the place was absolutely jamming. They had a ton of workers in the back whipping up the food. The manager and GM were both out on the floor working. The bathroom was clean. The drink machine was clean. They have outside seating. They have a few cool drink options too. If you've ever tried Nashville hot style chicken, then this is a premier place to get it. I got 2 combos, cause you never go home with food just for yourself. Then I got 2 slushies (orange and strawberry). There is plenty of parking, but the lot is also packed because it's near Trader Joes and In-N-Out. They gave me a bunch of ketchup, and 3 of their famous sauce packs. It was sweet and tangy. Probably some kind of sriracha mayo with other spices. I drizzled that all over my sandwich and drank my slushy. What a magical moment for my mouth. They serve crinkle cut fries with this. I was also given a military veteran discount.
