Love this place so much. The people there are so nice and accommodating. My siblings and I grew up eating Mountain Mikes it's one of my most memorable childhood memories. Now that I live on the east coast (due to work) I miss it so much. My family is still in the area so whenever I visit this is the first thing I always get when I'm in town. I like MM's pizza but the Twin Cities location has got to be the worst. Called in an order and got there early with the intent of grabbing my "hot" and getting it home before it cooled. When I got there the place was empty. The woman who rang me up is the owner, I believe. Anyway, I paid for my pizza and she told it was almost done and it would only be a 2-3 minute wait. I could see the young man in the back pulling a pizza out of the oven and I thought, "it must be mine". He sliced and put in a box and the placed on top of the oven. Meanwhile, the woman who helped got involved in several personal phone calls. She never went back to the kitchen to check on orders. Now the young man has made two more pizzas and stacked them also. Another guy comes in talks to the same lady and runs back to the kitchen and picks up his pizza and gets him on his way....still no pizza for me. Two more pizza are removed from the oven and still nothing. Finally, I call to the back and another young man comes out asks if he can help me. I ask him to check for my order and sure enough it was the first pizza the other guy had pulled out of the oven after I got there. Now it's been sitting on top of the oven for well over 10 mins... I complained to the woman who took my order and she just smiled at me and didn't say a word....literally! The are way to many pizza options in Galt to put up with this...No More Galt MM Pizza for me UPDATE: The owner called my wife yesterday and apologized for the service I received and took full responsibility, no excuses. She also offered to provide us with a another pizza at no cost. I would say that they have done the right thing. At this point I am satisfied with their response. read more

First time ordering from this Mountain Mike's location. It will be the last time too. This place managed to blow all three chances they had in one night. We placed a delivery order, so I can't speak to anything other than food quality and customer service. I like to start with the good stuff. The pizza tasted absolutely fantastic. The crust was crispy and held form quite well, despite being the "Mountain" size slice. The sauce and cheese-to-topping (pepperoni, jalapeno, and pineapple) ratio were on point. Overall, the pizza quality earns three stars for this business. Oh but wait, one star is forfeit, because I had to finish cooking the food in the air fryer (needed another 8 or so minutes). Otherwise, great pizza. Strike one. So my wife calls and talks to the manager on duty. She explains to him how the pizza we received was undercooked; the dough in the center was almost raw, and the pepperoni was limp instead of crispy. That manager literally told her (para.), ".. that's normal, that's how it's supposed to be when there are other toppings .." Seriously? Dude.. I grew up in the south bay in the 80s/90s. You know, the actual birthplace of Mountain Mike's Pizza? I ate at every single location from Los Gatos to Cupertino to Milpitas over the course of those 20+ years. Not once did my family ever get served nonsense along with limp pepperoni, no matter what other toppings there were. You know, that mini pepperoni that Mountain Mike's is known and runs commercials for? That "special, legendary" pepperoni that has been their "signature product for almost 40 years"? It's supposed to be "curly and crispy," "creating a 'teacup' look when cooked"? "The pepperoni other chains sell lies flat, and this is a clear sign that their customers are not getting the real thing"? But let's forget all that, because, according to Galt's Mountain Mike's Pizza, flat and limp pepperoni is "how it's supposed to be." The manager begrudgingly offers to remake the pizza for us, but that "it probably will end up the same. My wife told him we were cooking the pizza the rest of the way ourselves and asked for a different compensation instead. He offered 20% off the next order, to which my wife replied, "uh, I get those same coupons on the website and in the mail." We requested to have the owner call us. Strike two. A couple of hours later, the owner calls (I honestly didn't think it was going to happen, but I guess anything goes after 8:30pm for this pizza place). She was not unpleasant, but she certainly sounded slightly annoyed and basically told us the same thing her manager did. Then she offered us a replacement pizza (because she "didn't want to lose our business"), but that we'd have to go and pick it up. My wife thanked her and ended the call. From two phone conversations, we heard zero apologies. Not even an insincere one. Places that care about service (and understand how it affects business/revenue) typically lead with, "Oh! I'm sorry to hear that! We'll make this right for you," before offering genuine options. Instead, Galt's Mountain Mike's Pizza serves up excuses and gaslighting. The closest thing we got to an apology was an admittance (from the owner) as limp as the pepperoni on our pizza: (para.) ".. well it's POSSIBLE that the pizza could have been undercooked.. but that's just what you get." Wow. Strike three. I feel that Galt's Mountain Mike's customer service issues stem from the top down. And it's very unfortunate, because the pizza is quite good (when fully cooked). But we won't be taking up that offer for a freebie (pickup, not delivery, mind you). You know, one chance at a first impressions and all that. Things could have gone differently had there been some semblance of a real apology. So yeah, only two stars for Galt's Mountain Mike's Pizza, because "that's just what you get." read more

We came here for lunch before we took my friend's elderly mom grocery shopping. As we walked in, there were lots of tables available. Only two tables were being occupied. We saw the small pizza buffet and salad bar. There were only two partial pizzas available. I am sure they would have baked more if we would have chosen three buffets. We decided to order FRESH hot pizza instead. After looking at the menu long and hard, we opted on a half and half topping to satisfy all parties!! We sat down and chatted and sipped our drinks while waiting for the pizza to be baked! After a bit....it was out of the oven and onto our table!! It was nice and hot! Pretty tasty, too!! This is a smaller place and a small town, too. The young man taking our order was also in back working. ( I am pretty sure he made the pizza, also! ) We had to kinda yell out HELLO to get his attention to get a box for the leftovers. We heard a lot of banging around back there. Just ordered online. Mountain 20' pepperoni, med cheese & mozzarella sticks. 1. It showed up 30 minutes late 2. Mozzarella sticks, cold and hard 3. Both pizzas just cheese We called and were told that they would get a replacement pizza out to us, but it would take 45 min to an hour. Which was understandable and we were gracious. 15 minutes later we received a call saying since the order was placed online they can't help us and they won't give us a "free" pizza because they weren't at fault for the incorrect order. I love Mountaim Mike's pizza, but the owner in Galt is so nice! I was trying to use the app to order, but didn't realize until I received the confirmation that I had ordered a snowy Mountain that was actually a pepperoni-type pizza. We HATE pepperoni! I quickly ran to cancel my order, but it was already in the oven The owner was so nice, she told the guy making pizza to make the pizza I wanted. This was totally my error, but she didn't expect payment for the wrong one. Prior to the COVID shut- down, I often went in for the lunch buffet. Very average. Light on the toppings for an all meat. Crust was very chewy Family salad. Maybe it had been sitting out for awhile? Some wilted lettuce. Chemical tasting, especially the baby corn. On the whole, 3 of 5 stars. That's 60% and passing, but barely. The biggest positive was that it was ready on time. I may be back but definitely will try another pizza venue next time. read more

Pick up or delivery they almost always get it right! Once in a while they forget to honor the "no contact delivery" And once in a while they're not paying attention in the kitchen resulting in the pizza being badly burned as if cooked on an out of control BBQ. But even so, it's absolutely delicious! The salads are incredible too, fresh ingredients that (if we can't finish in one sitting) survive several days in the fridge without becoming a science project. What's really cool? I am Deeply upset with my unprofessional service at this Mountain Mike's on Twin Cities in Galt. I am a reoccurring customer to this Location, I Ordered two $25 wing boxes , and they got my order incorrect as I ordered Bone in and not Boneless. Once I saw what I had received I called the Business to make them aware of the mistake as I spent $50 of my hard earned money on this. The woman that I spoke to was INCREDIBLY RUDE as she had told me it was not what my coupon covered but my coupon was for pizza not wings. I was also told that they had already put the wings in and they can not fix the order. I expect to at least to be given the correct food that I had ordered understanding it was a mistake but after the very unprofessional service and myself experiencing their lack of motivation to take care of a Consistent Customer. If I could give them a negative star I would. I order at 7:57 almost 100 dollars worth of pizza. 9 pm hits I call and ask e.t.a. I was greeted with "oh so we tried to call you and like couldn't get ahold of you so we cancelled the order our delivery driver left at 8pm". Why is this my problem? Pizza quality good. Customer Service horrible. My family and I came on a Wens night to enjoy family while enjoying the buffet. Between two families we sent $90 here. When we got there no pizza. They girl said 10 min and more pizza will be out. One medium pizza came out after 20 min. Their were so many other patrons waiting for pizza, only three of us got pizza. After another 10 min, still not another pizza out, ask to speak with the supervisor on duty. Explained to him how long we were waiting, we had hungry kids just getting out of baseball and his response was, "what do you want me to do? We had a rush." I replied I want to enjoy dinner with my family. He said more pizza coming. Returned to my family. After another 10 min still no pizza. At this point we decided to leave. Waiting for the "store manager" as he said to be, to process our refund a pizza came out. Which about 10 patrons came to get a slice and was gone before every one in line got a piece.
