Not going to lie, I've ordered here more than a few times and for work events because I love Mountain Mike's pizza, but today's order was especially above and beyond. I mainly write reviews based off customer service not only the food so this 5 star is for Jackson. Lately, ordering food for the preggo wife can be unpredictable, and most places I order from, she'll change something at the last second. So I have to be that guy who calls and asks if they can still make a change. Most of the time, I get hit with the "Uhhhh... yea... no, we've already put it together," even though I just got off the phone with them. But it is what it is. What made this order so great was that, from the instant Jackson picked up the phone, he had a really positive tone to his voice. He clearly took my order, listened to me about my wife's special instructions for her side of the pizza, and then even told me to have a good day before I had a chance to say it to him first. I know things like Jackson telling my wife to have a good day when she was leaving, helping her open the door, and even offering to help her to the car because she's pregnant might seem like small things, but customer care and service really can change the experience you have with where you're eating or getting your food from. When I called back to make a change to the pizza, Jackson didn't make me feel guilty about it at all. He was calm, understanding, and made me feel like it wasn't a problem at all and that he'd take care of it. I mean, yeah, I could've ordered from New York Pizza, which is five minutes down the street, or Round Table, which is also five minutes away. There's also Pizza Hut and Domino's, which are even closer. But I'm glad I was craving Mountain Mike's today and got to have this interaction. It honestly reminded me why I'm willing to drive 20 minutes to pick up Mountain Mike's. It's not just about getting good pizza. It's about getting good pizza from good people like Jackson, who provide excellent customer service and make you feel like you actually matter. read more

Well... I just don't know exactly how I feel about this place. One thing I do know is that it is highly unlikely that I'll return. During my son's spring break, I brought him here for the lunch buffet thing. I suppose the thing that bothered me is that no one was there. There were two adults sitting at a table talking but it did not appear that they were eating. Do the locals here know something that I do not? I live less than a mile from here and this is my first time here so... I don't know. The pizza was middle of the road. Were the pizzas freshly made? Not really. And why would they keep making pizzas when there is no one here to consume them? The salad bar was rather sad. I wanted the experience to be good but it felt a little depressing eating here. Avoid this disgusting place! We arrived with friends, 4 families total, and ended up walking out. First, the cashier looked like she would rather be anywhere else. We placed our order including salad bar. I attempted to serve myself salad and bugs along the entire salad bar took off! I would say about 100+ gnats or mosquitoes I couldn't tell you! I requested a refund and she was clueless! Couldn't figure out how to refund us. I asked her to call the owner and she stated at me! While I waited for her to cancel the orders of the other parties in our group I decided to fill my cup to-go. I filled my drink with lemonade. Attempted to take a drink and a dead bug was floating in my cup! It was a previously clean cup so I am absolutely certain it came from the dispenser. Talk about false advertising. I've never been to this location before, and I won't be back again. I visited Mountain Mikes at 5:30pm on a Friday. I went to purchase a small cheese pizza which was indicated as $16.99 on the board, and the employee tried charging me $17.99. I pointed out the error, and she made an adjustment. My friend and I also purchased the all you can eat salad bar. The very little iceberg lettuce they had available wasn't even chopped but laid out in large sheets. My friend and I had enough for a small salad each before the employee informed us they were all out of lettuce. I guess all-you-can-eat salad bar is out! Guys, it's a Friday night, and there is a grocery close by. Go buy some lettuce. Their game machines were malfunctioning, and the claw would open at the top dropping the toy. Overall, this visit was a total waste of money. One small cheese pizza and one small side salad with malfunctioning games and no prizes set a party of two back over $52. Not worth it! My friends who love jalapeños had them and liked, crispy on the outside and soft, cheesy and fluffy on the inside. The Mozzarella Sticks are delicious, crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, although the Knots slightly better. I thought the Small Pizza wouldn't be enough for my boyfriend and I. Boy, was I wrong. With a side, the pizza was plenty. We even had leftovers. I was only able to eat two while my boyfriend had four slices. My boyfriend said it's similar to Round Table Pizza but I haven't had it before. It might be better than Shakey's Pizza Parlor, Papa Johns, Little Caesars Pizza and Sbarro, only by a little. I've gone on a Friday around 4:30 PM, Monday around 1 PM and Saturday around 4:30 PM. I double-checked my order before leaving. I was really looking forward to those new Jalapeño Not-Knots, but when I opened the box, not a single jalapeño in sight! I went back and both the ladies there were just as confused as I was. Eventually, one of them went to speak with what appeared to be the owner who confirmed the mix-up. While he apologized, took the box with the wrong knots and offered to remake, the additional 20-minute wait left my pizza and mozzarella sticks cold, very frustrating. While I appreciated them fixing the mistake, it would've been nice if they'd thrown in something extra to make up for the hassle. This Mountain Mike's is located in a small plaza with a few businesses with plenty of parking. I placed an online order for dine in. The online ordering process was simple, easy and user friendly. They do offer discounts which is great! Received a phone call to confirm the order a few hours later. I arrived a few minutes early and our orders were ready. The restaurant has plenty of tables and seats inside with a restroom in the back. Our group enjoyed our pizzas and I appreciated Mountain Mike's hospitality. There was a minor mistake with one of our pizzas. I brought it to their attention and they were very quick to make a whole new one without any issues. Customer service was great. Pizzas were good. Our kids soccer team had their end of season wrap up at this venue. Upon arriving the kids were bought some pizzas and the parents ordered for themselves. Service was incredibly slow. There appeared to be only one person taking orders and one person working the kitchen. After waiting for nearly an hour a number of customers were informed they could not have the pizzas they'd ordered as they had run out of ingredients. We asked for a refund which they agreed to give but then we had to follow up and ask where our refund was. Unbelievably poor service. Recommend you steer well clear of this place. My roommate was ordering some pizza and asked if I'd like something. They ordered the garlic bread with cheese for me. I used to love the garlic bread. It used to be made on a very delicious sourdough bread and it was nice and cheesy. This was anything but delicious. Never thought it would even possible to make garlic bread as disgusting as this was. It seems very hard to screw up. The garlic bread was made on a soft roll.. not sourdough bread.. and was completely drenched in oil and sprinkled with so little cheese that you could see the oil through it. This is my second time trying MMP. The first time was at a party and I was blown away by the freshness, quality and quantity (specifically the Mountain sized Pineapple Chicken Luau $47.99 excluding tax and tip). My order tonight just had a couple of mild hiccups. 1. The dough was undercooked. It was still soft and doughy towards the middle of the pizza. 2. I only noticed when I got home that a quarter of the crust was cut off. I'm assuming it got burned and they decided to cut it off instead of remaking it. The couple of guys up front were nice though. No complaints with customer service. I had a reward for mozzarella sticks but I couldn't order it through the mobile app. The guy said they turned off the option to add them because they only had four which wasn't a full order.
