This is my second time trying MMP. The first time was at a party and I was blown away by the freshness, quality and quantity (specifically the Mountain sized Pineapple Chicken Luau $47.99 excluding tax and tip). My order tonight just had a couple of mild hiccups. 1. The dough was undercooked. It was still soft and doughy towards the middle of the pizza. 2. I only noticed when I got home that a quarter of the crust was cut off. I'm assuming it got burned and they decided to cut it off instead of remaking it. The couple of guys up front were nice though. No complaints with customer service. I had a reward for mozzarella sticks but I couldn't order it through the mobile app. The guy said they turned off the option to add them because they only had four which wasn't a full order. He offered those to me for free. That was really nice of him to do that. So big thanks! Anyways, I ended up cooking the pizza further at home and enjoyed it all the same. Mountain Mike's Pizza is definitely a fun spot to go to, I remember a while ago a friend of mine had picked up a couple pies and brought them over for a game night and I like the pizza a lot. Overall I enjoyed the dining experience there was one tiny gripe which I'll go over below. The environment- they're maintaining the safety regulations to keep things safe. I got to give me big cuz I like inside dining was pretty open there wasn't too much traffic going in but it was a light day you can tell. Overall I like the vibe and the mountain man feeling to the restaurant. The service- though it sit down dining you'll order at the front desk and then they'll bring out your food. It's pretty straightforward but there's not a whole lot of interaction with the hosts. They we're pretty quick to get the pizzas out. They were out of several beers on tap so that was a little disappointing but it happens. The food- The pizza maintained it's deliciousness so you can't really go wrong with the pizza. I do feel like the pricing was a bit much but overall it was good. The one disappointment was the hot wings they were delicious with the traditional sauce and maintain crunchiness they were just really tiny especially for the price. Don't get me wrong they were delicious and the food is delicious. With a few things that were kind of let down O overall I would come back for the pizza, I really enjoy the topping types. I tend to not be too big on going to the usual chains so I like finding reasonably good pizza places and the pizza here is definitely worth a shot. read more

Noting unique or special about this pizza. Makes my stomach feel not great every time, but others and my kids like it, never have that issue with other pizza places. Good place for kids and grabbing some beers with the boys but don't expect much from the food as I'm sure most of it comes frozen, could be wrong but that's the quality that comes to the plate. Service is a bunch of kids. Nice kids but nothing close to the professionalism, training and efficiency of In-n-out kids. I would give a 2.5 stars but couldn't so rounded up. read more

This is good pizza. The dough is chewy and the pepperoni tastes good. It has some spicy kick to it. The only issue is I feel this place is a bit disorganized. They couldn't easily tell me the price of the pizza over the phone. The person who answered it had to ask someone else which was weird, but other than that i recommend trying it out. read more

This particular time we ordered the $23.74 Medium Pepperoni & Pineapple Pizza, $23.74 Medium Pepperoni & Italian Sausage Pizza, and the $8.99 Garlic Sticks with Cheese. This pizza has a very similar taste to Round Table Pizza. It's a little overpriced just like Round Table as well. But this establishment serves very top notch pizza! A couple of times they have forgotten things off the order but they are very accommodating as long as you call them up and they will make it right. Overall we will continue to order from here! Our order was delivered in about 30 mins, talk about speed!! Talk about fast and efficient! The pizza - The cheese pull is on point and gooey, crust is thick, pepperoni is meaty, just the way I like it! The only thing I do notice is salt bae poured a little too much salt on the pepperoni! Easy there salt bae lol. Garlic bread, very generous spread of cheese and crunchy!! There was still 6 more slices of pizza left after being literally devoured by 3 mountain men. I dig. Pizza is absolute garbage. I can't believe they can charge the prices they do for what tastes like Pizza Hut pizza. At least the margarita pizza. It was dry as hell. My wife's gluten free pizza was also burnt on 1/4 of the crust. Also, the size of their wings was laughable, like, they must have come from a chick rather than a chicken. Saw an ad for Mountain Mike's Pizza in the local coupon book boasting of their "crispy curly pepperonis" and figured it was worth a try since I do love curly pepperonis Anyhow, we got a large McKinley ($26.99) which is roughly 14'' and the same size as a Domino's large for comparison. We phoned in our order and picked up our pizza. We were pretty much in and out of there pretty quickly. The pizza itself was okay - the "crispy curly pepperonis" that were so advertised were really not that crispy or curly at all. I found the pizza to be doughy than I liked and the sauce was a basic tomato sauce without much flavor. The cheese was also meh - not 100% mozzarella. So mountain Mike's have some really good pizzas. They always show their huge double pepperoni pizza on their flyers, but they also have a white pizza, with Alfredo and garlic-based sauce. I was craving pizza that was slightly different for takeout. After going through their menu, I decided to get the Snowy Alps pizza which is a white sauce-based pizza. They have a decent amount of seating at their store. My biggest challenge was trying to find how to get my way inside the restaurant as the entrances can be very deceiving here. The pizza was really good, I enjoyed it, Especially their pepperoni which is cut slightly smaller but seem to have more flavor. It is on the pricier side of pizzas, but it's not like you're not getting something of value. Picking up pizza from Mountain Mike's has been a great reason to get out of the house for a bit during COVID, and definitely something to look forward to. This review is based on multiple visits. I have been here many times but specifically for the lunch buffet so my review is based on the lunch buffet only. I became aware of this chain when I ate at another location in Union City, CA. This place is located on the corner of Muirlands and Ridge Route in Lake Forest. This place shares a parking lot with a few other stores in a very small shopping center. You walk in the front door and proceed to the counter where there is an overhead menu. If you are there at lunchtime, you can consider the lunch buffet with a drink for 8 bucks and some change. They have other items to choose from if you don't want the buffet. The pizza is OK here. It's hard to screw up pizza and this isn't the best pizza that you will have had in your life. There is typically a small selection but you can request any pizza and they will make it quick. They have a basic salad bar that is missing a few items. They have a soda machine that features Pepsi products. The place is adequate size and there is usually seats and parking available. They do have TVs inside that are usually showing sports channels. One cool thing here is that they usually have a dessert pizza. Bottom line...cheap food, OK pizza and salad. Three starts! read more
