I was a bit skeptical about this place because it replaced Furai, who moved out of the Zion Market to a nearby free-standing location. But, I am now regretting that I didn't give this place a try sooner. The two places (Two Dak and Furai) have notable differences: --Flavor: Furai wins here. The crispy coating was similar for both, but Furai's meat was better seasoned, as if they left the meat in seasoning a bit longer. Two Dak's meat gets a bit bland, especially for the breast area. --Price: Two Dak wins clearly here. A whole fried chicken at Furai is over $31, close to $32 with tax. Two Dak is $26.93 with tax. --Portion: Two Dak wins again, clearly. Furai has potato wedge fillers. Two Dak is just pure chicken pieces filling your box and over the lid (take a look at the picture). --Sides: Furai wins here, as they make their sides in-house. For Two Dak, they are, to me, clearly bought wholesale. This place will be my go-to from now on for Korean fried chicken. The price and portion justify the visit. The friendly staff was a plus.

There are a few brown tables with chairs to sit down and eat.

1 SWEET & SPICY CHICKEN *HALF = $18.99 1 SWEET & SPICY CHICKEN WINGS *6 PCS = $12.99 (go with the wings) 1 FRIED DUMPLINGS = $12.99 $44.97 + 3.49 (TAX) = $48.46 Chickens were very flavorful. Definitely sweet and tangy/spicy. 100% crunchy outside and soft fresh white chicken meat inside. The chicken tasted very fresh too. I also got pickled radish and 1 side of ranch. I have never order from this vendor before so I did not want to order too many things yet. The gentleman who took our order was a very nice man. Very friendly and understanding when we were trying to figure out what we want to order. There are tables nearby to eat but there will be people walking back and forth passing the tables shopping. We ordered and drove home to eat so it's more comfortable. Location: it's inside ZION SUPERMARKET. This location used to be Furai Chicken but Furai is no longer there. Parking: Free, plenty outside since it's within a big shopping area.

Definitely a nice hole in the wall place inside Zion Market. The chicken was tender and crispy! I love these places because they don't have much in their menu and they focus on the items they have to get the best quality they can deliver to their guests. I ordered on the website and it finished right when they said they were. I came a few minutes early and the cashier (both of them) were really sweet and serviceable towards me. I really appreciate that since there's not much you can do with us a fast food pick up type eatery. Definitely recommend!

The best Korean fried chicken I've ever had! So juicy and crispy, I couldn't ask for more. I love how you can get sliced green onions and sliced onions on the side to pair it with the chicken. It goes so well together. It's located inside of Zion Market and we ate inside. I'd highly recommend.

Two Dak is located inside Zion market in the food court. I ordered the half sweet and spicy and half soy garlic. They put each flavor in separate boxes. It's about a 15 minute wait because each order is made fresh. Flavors are limited unlike other places but what they have is very good. It's not in my normal travels but I would definitely return if in the area.

Last weekend, I went grocery shopping at Zion Market, and saw that Two Dak Two Dak had opened at the Food Court. Since it was my first time trying it, I tried basic Fried Chicken. I guess the raw chicken was marinated properly so the chicken didn't have any bad smell. When I evaluate chicken, the most important things I consider are the crispy texture of fried chicken skin and the juicy meat inside. The chicken sold at Two Dak Two Dak met both conditions. I was so satisfied with two dak two dak's fried chicken. I'll definitely come back to try seasoned chicken and green onion chicken soon. Highly recommended!!

Chicken is perfectly seasoned and cooked. This place knows how to do chicken. Since they hand bread and fry from scratch, it takes a little while to get your food, nothing crazy slow but if you're used to american fast food, it will be slower than that (and that's a good thing FYI)

Best fried chicken in Irvine!! Located inside of Zion.. used to love Furai but this place is better! Juicy big chicken wings and price is right

I love the chicken here, especially the original and garlic soy flavor. The chicken is juicy and has Just the right amount of crunch. The owner is very nice and service is consistently good. They used to be located in the Zion off Michelson and relocated here. A farther drive for me but I still come here for their chicken!

I got the sweet and spicy chicken and French fries. The chicken was moderately spicy, spicy enough that you could feel the heat but not so hot that I couldn't really taste it. I thought it was perfect!

This is supposed to be $32 half & half chicken? What a rip off....I wonder who's giving all the good reviews. Unbelievable...

Even though Edward was busy waiting on 3 tables when we walked in, we were able to be seated right away, given a QR code to scan for the menu, and brought a carafe of water. Edward returned shortly to take our order of a Lunch Bansang of white seafood noodle with fresh noodles, small Chan Chan tenders with spicy sweet soy sauce on the side, half and half of the Spam Kimbap and spicy fish kimbap, and a kimchi and Spam fried rice. We had ordered at 1:28 PM and the food came out at 1:40 PM. Daughter had ordered so much food that Edward had to give us another table. The lunch special is a very good deal. It comes with Chan Chan Kimbap and assorted fried basket. In the white seafood noodle are clams, mussels, squid, 2 shrimps, onion, and bean sprouts. We also made a takeout order of cream pasta with chicken which Edward brought to our table. Edward was also our cashier. On his own, he was handling the whole front of the restaurant and was doing well. He was polite and I felt like an honored guest. We had a great lunch to fuel us for work. Everything tasted excellent.

The foil pork brain was also surprisingly good, I was expecting it to have a strong pork odor, but it was seasoned very well! Every dish I tried was pretty spicy, but with some rice it was toned down! I don't think I would get the skewers again, they were on the dryer side and a little too expensive for the amount of meat. The takeout process was very smooth and my food was ready in around 20 minutes! The restaurant is fairly small and probably wouldn't be able to accommodate too large of a party. Service is pretty hands off and everything is ordered through your phone. The food comes out quick and skewers are placed on a hot place to keep warm as you eat. We ordered the lamb, beef, pork belly, and chicken skin skewers. I will say, these skewers are pretty small and aren't the best quality. The lamb was my favorite, followed by the chicken skin. I don't think they use a super great cut for the beef but maybe we just got unlucky with the pieces. The pork belly was definitely the biggest disappointment. Although it tasted great, it was a VERY thinly sliced piece of pork belly and not worth the price. I will opt to get another order of the lamb in place of the pork next time I come. The standout star for me was the cabbage, though. I was expecting a small plate as a side but instead, we got a humungous place of delicious cabbage that was absolutely covered in seasoning. I could have eaten that with a bowl of white rice by itself! All in all, this place really does hit the spot when you're craving skewers as long as you know what to order. I'll definitely be back!
