Happened to come by chance as we wanted to peek in and look at their menu. At last minute, we decided we wanted to try out their menu. Ordered 2 unlimited salad and pineapple chicken luau. Your salad bar will have your basic toppings, croutons, and dressings. There was also potato salad as well. Pizza was delicious, crispy crust and flavorful, saucy, and salty pizza. Will have to return to try other pizza flavors. Service was superb. Parm (pronounced Param I believe), was super helpful, friendly, and overall awesome for being attentive. While it wasn't busy, you can see the employees keeping their restaurant clean as the salad bar rarely had a mess, they were cleaning windows, etc. I firmly believe that a clean setting while also means they are hygienic in cooking our orders as well. First time trying and it was so good! We a medium snowy alps and it was delicious!! If you are not a garlic fan, I do not recommend as it is a strong garlic flavor but very good !! The way the pizza is made is perfect! We did order dozen wings and reason for 4 stars was we ordered hot but got bbq, its ok though because the bbq flavor was pretty good !! We came here on a weekend evening for dinner and were pleasantly surprised with a nice dinner for the family. Food: Their menu is extensive and has many options for the pickiest person. The pizzas are made fresh and their crust is average, but kid approved. I felt they gave a lot of toppings, too. The mini churros were tasty at first, but the serving size is too much. It was not as good the next day. Their wings and potato wedges were a hit with my kids. It's good quality food here. Ambiance: This is a very clean restaurant and was not busy for a weekend night. They played sports on the TV's and there is also a small arcade off to the side. Its location nearby the Navy Base and Seabridge is a big selling point to customers. Service: The staff is very friendly and relaxed. The pizza I got was an exact copy of Round Table's KING ARTHUR SUPREME - which is one of my alltime fav pizza's! There aren't very many Round Table's anymore, so I'm so glad I found this place. First review of the year! Been wanting to stop in and try their pizza since it has opened. Not the best pizza in town-lots of toppings on our medium pizza. The bottom crust was very crunchy almost as if it was a little overcooked. And we were fans of the pizza sauce. The service was great. There was a new girl working the register, so she took her time making sure the order was imputed correctly. Which I can definitely appreciate. Overall 3.5 . Didn't love the pizza . Generous with toppings. I just didn't love the pizza sauce. The wings were ok. I prefer my wings crispy. Great customer service. Staff is super sweet! They check in to make sure all is great even though it's counter service. Pizza is a bit pricey but they don't skimp on the toppings. They have a lunch buffet and a happy hour. Check out their website for details . It was not busy. A few people enjoying their pies. They have games and a music box . Place is kept clean. I know someone here have compared Toppers to this spot. Really no comparison diff style pizza . This pizza has a thicker crust and more acidic pizza sauce which is not my preference. They have a salad buffet which Toppers used to have, so point there to Mountain Mikes. Regarding the pizza though - to me, Toppers is the clear winner but check out for yourselves. Well, I was super excited to finally eat here. Growing up in Bakersfield, I was lucky enough to have Mountain Mikes all of my life. Generally I never had issues and if I did, they would correct it. However, this Oxnard location is defenitly different then what I'm use too. I came by on New Years Day for dinner. Placed my order for a small pizza with pepperoni on the whole thing, mushroom and olive on one half, pineapple and jalapeños on the other half. We also got some garlic knots, potato wedges, and a couple drinks. Spent about $45 bucks in total. After waiting for about 20-25 minutes our food was out but it was wrong. The pizza had sun dried tomatoes and no pineapple. When we told the gentlemen are pizza was wrong right away he was like "let me see what you ordered" he came back a couple minutes later with a side of cold pineapple. We were so confused. When we told the gentlemen that we wanted the pineapple on our pizza hot he literally said "no problem, I heat this up for you" and walked away. About 10 minutes later he came back with hot pineapple and apologized for the mix up. The part that baffles me is we didn't want the sun dried tomatoes, never been a fan of them so it just kinda sucked to pay $45 bucks and not get what you ORDERED and clearly a mistake the resteraunt made. The pizza I had was ok, but then again not what I ordered. The garlic knots and potato wedges were great and really tastey! Highly reccomend you try those two items if you do stop by here. Opened up October 2023 with its location at the Seabridge Marketplace on Victoria Ave & Wooley Rd in Oxnard. It's right next door to Chipotle & near Vons. Plenty of free parking available. Just watch out for cars Bec the business is near a congested entrance, which slows down traffic. This is my first time trying a Mountain Mike's establishment. You order & pay at the counter. When dining in, they give you a number & they bring your order to you... Delivery & pick up are available too. Restaurant appeared clean & seemed very Family friendly. The gal at the counter was polite, informative & was able to answer my questions. They have ample amount of tables & booths to sit at inside, as well as outdoor seating. Napkins, hot sauce & pepper flakes found at the tables. Self serve fountain drinks. And yes they have beer & wine here... They do have TV's & a couple of games like a claw machine for the kids. We tried something basic. Got a small Pepperoni Pizza. Tasted really good & pip'n hot. It was cheesy & they didn't skimp on the crispy, curly pepperoni... Now I seriously gotta come back and try their specialty pizzas. Also got the mini churros. These were cute lil bites of cinnamon sweet goodness. Pizza tastes nostalgic Great food: we tried the garlic knots, buffalo wings, cinnamon sticks. My daughter absolutely loved it! My husband as well. We will definitely be going back. The Mountain Mikes in Oxnard get a solid "just OK" rating.  Not bad at all, but not really very good.I had their lunch special "all you can eat pizza & salad bar buffet."  (Or is it "salad bar & pizza..."? no matter) for 14.99 The salad bar was well stocked with the usual assortment of items and everything looked fresh enough.   The pizza selection was ok, there was no just plain cheese, a couple of pepperoni choices, a "white sauce" which turns out to be a ranch base (yuch!) and some sort of dessert pizza. As for the pizza itself, again a solid "just OK."  Crust was meh at best, and the toppings were ok.  I'd compare it to a pie from the frozen aisle at a grocery store chain.  Basically, if I were nearby, hungry, in a bit of a rush and a salad bar with decent bread sounded good I'd go there again. But here's a heads up for the franchisee:  You've invested something on the order or a half a mil' plus operating expenses, etc.  Maybe you'd want the fellow working the front counter to put down his cell phone and do a bit of wiping down, also checking the stocking level on items like the (plastic) utensils, napkin dispensers, soda machine cleaning, and maybe just for the fun of it wiping the greasy pizza finger prints off the front door!  That left a lasting impression!  The salad bar while well stocked had the usual spills, and dropped items that a heads up employee would be minding when there was "time to lean, not clean" and stare at his phone.  To be fair he was very cordial, polite, asking everyone if they had been there before, touting the quality and making the rounds to see if everyone was 'happy'. First time coming to this location. I've had it before when I lived in northern California. No lie... it's just like I remember it. We ordered the Everest pizza with all the fixin' s. Pizza was loaded with toppings just like I like it! The crust was nice and crisp! The wings were saucy and juicy! I usually order them extra crispy but I forgot and honestly they came out great! It's not a priority order in Doordash so there were multiple stops before ours and our pizza was cold when it got here. 3. They forgot a $15 item. When I called them the manager offered me a $15 gift card as a refund. I said no, I just want my money refunded to my credit card. They said ok and then never actually refunded me. New the area, just moved from Las Vegas so tried toppers then I seen mountain mikes and decided to give it a try. First of all didn't really care for toppers. But mountain mikes pizza is really good! Usually I get heart burn from the sauce and feel tried afterwards from eating all the carbs. But what ever ingredients they use are top notch! No heart burn and I don't get the crash I usually do from eating pizza. The Everest is my go too and you should give it a try! Favorite pizza spot so far here in Ventura! The Mountain Mike's Pizza by our house finally opened. We were excited to try it so we ordered online. The website was very easy to navigate which was good. We were given a set time (less than 20 minutes) to pick up the order so we walked over. We were early so we looked around. The restaurant was very clean and a nice atmosphere. I just can't say enough about this spot. Oxnard is so limited on Pizza options. Everyone just Raves about Toppers. Don't get me wrong they're good. But in my opinion Mountain Mike is so much better hands down. Their (MM) pies are legit, The 20" is no Joke. But in my opinion their attention to detail is key. First off customer service is key for me along with options. Each time I've gone in they welcome me right away. I've been in there so many time they know me by name. Their lunch buffet is great with lots to chose from. Well stocked and won't break the bank $. They know their customers and go the extra mile tomake you feel welcome. Being this close to the base they offer a Military discount. Again this is huge in my book. Big props for offering it and Supporting the Troops and support staff. Although the location is not huge in size it has enough room for major sports events and monitors to support multiple games or events. But seriously the Pies are what have me coming back. Ok let's breakdown the snapshot experience I had. This includes about a 2-3 minute experience while picking up my pie. Food: I ordered a mini pepperoni pizza. I'm not going to about the price because every business has the right to charge what it feels it should. I will say the pizza wasn't bad... but it also wasn't the best pizza in the city. That place has been won by Toppers pizza and uptown pizza. So I hope this establishment makes room for growth as it can benefit from making a few changes. Service: I came in about 5 minutes earlier than the pickup time and the pizza was ready. Compared to what others posted, I found them to be fairly quick. Ambience: The place is brightly lit up and it looks welcoming. Cleanliness: I don't what was going on in this place. There were yellow wet floor signs around the restaurant but the odor in the place reeked of stagnate sewage. I don't know what they mopped the place with but it smelled foul. This was the primary reason I didn't stay to eat in the restaurant. I don't know when the last time you had a health inspection but I will be viewing BBB updates before I go back into this place or try their food again. read more
