The Mountain Mikes in Oxnard get a solid "just OK" rating. Not bad at all, but not really very good.I had their lunch special "all you can eat pizza & salad bar buffet." (Or is it "salad bar & pizza..."? no matter) for 14.99 The salad bar was well stocked with the usual assortment of items and everything looked fresh enough. The pizza selection was ok, there was no just plain cheese, a couple of pepperoni choices, a "white sauce" which turns out to be a ranch base (yuch!) and some sort of dessert pizza. As for the pizza itself, again a solid "just OK." Crust was meh at best, and the toppings were ok.

I'd compare it to a pie from the frozen aisle at a grocery store chain. Basically, if I were nearby, hungry, in a bit of a rush and a salad bar with decent bread sounded good I'd go there again. But here's a heads up for the...

franchisee: You've invested something on the order or a half a mil' plus operating expenses, etc. Maybe you'd want the fellow working the front counter to put down his cell phone and do a bit of wiping down, also checking the stocking level on items like the (plastic) utensils, napkin dispensers, soda machine cleaning, and maybe just for the fun of it wiping the greasy pizza finger prints off the front door! That left a lasting impression! The salad bar while well stocked had the usual spills, and dropped items that a heads up employee would be minding when there was "time to lean, not clean" and stare at his phone. To be fair he was very cordial, polite, asking everyone if they had been there before, touting the quality and making the rounds to see if everyone was 'happy'. A total 5 out of 10 from me.

Its location nearby the Navy Base and Seabridge is a big selling point to customers. Service: The staff is very friendly and relaxed. We never felt rushed and they welcomed us to hang out, play games, watch sports, etc. I like our experience here but looking forward to trying their weekday lunch buffet.

We also ordered mini churros and they arrived completely over baked and burned. $70 down the drain. Really wanted to love this place and we are extremely dissapointed.

It being a new franchise, It's understandable for new employees, but the girl that took our order was not help at all. So, a coworker stepped up and helped her. The food was ordered by one of my co-workers. I ordered 6 pcs wing honey heat they should've been fried twice they were chewy, and it was not the greatest, but pizza was really good. The ambiance was good, just a sent in the air that was odd.

I've always been curious about this place. I ordered online. The place was clean, and they were friendly. The pizza I got was an exact copy of Round Table's KING ARTHUR SUPREME - which is one of my alltime fav pizza's! There aren't very many Round Table's anymore, so I'm so glad I found this place. The pizza was excellent! My one only complaint is the price - the pizza is quite pricey.

First review of the year! Been wanting to stop in and try their pizza since it has opened. Not the best pizza in town-lots of toppings on our medium pizza. The bottom crust was very crunchy almost as if it was a little overcooked. And we were fans of the pizza sauce. The service was great. There was a new girl working the register, so she took her time making sure the order was imputed correctly. Which I can definitely appreciate. There are TV's inside for you to enjoy, and also a jukebox playing the jams. I will come back and try other things on their menu.

Overall 3.5 . Didn't love the pizza . Generous with toppings. I just didn't love the pizza sauce. The wings were ok. I prefer my wings crispy. Great customer service. Staff is super sweet! They check in to make sure all is great even though it's counter service. Pizza is a bit pricey but they don't skimp on the toppings. They have a lunch buffet and a happy hour. Check out their website for details . It was not busy. A few people enjoying their pies. They have games and a music box . Place is kept clean. I know someone here have compared Toppers to this spot. Really no comparison diff style pizza . This pizza has a thicker crust and more acidic pizza sauce which is not my preference. They have a salad buffet which Toppers used to have, so point there to Mountain Mikes. Regarding the pizza though - to me, Toppers is the clear winner but check out for yourselves. Fun space for everyone with all the games and tons of TVs too for sport watchers. Happy they're in our community.

Well, I was super excited to finally eat here. Growing up in Bakersfield, I was lucky enough to have Mountain Mikes all of my life. Generally I never had issues and if I did, they would correct it. However, this Oxnard location is defenitly different then what I'm use too. I came by on New Years Day for dinner. Placed my order for a small pizza with pepperoni on the whole thing, mushroom and olive on one half, pineapple and jalapeños on the other half. We also got some garlic knots, potato wedges, and a couple drinks. Spent about $45 bucks in total. After waiting for about 20-25 minutes our food was out but it was wrong. The pizza had sun dried tomatoes and no pineapple. When we told the gentlemen are pizza was wrong right away he was like "let me see what you ordered" he came back a couple minutes later with a side of cold pineapple. We were so confused. When we told the gentlemen that we wanted the pineapple on our pizza hot he literally said "no problem, I heat this up for you" and walked away. About 10 minutes later he came back with hot pineapple and apologized for the mix up. The part that baffles me is we didn't want the sun dried tomatoes, never been a fan of them so it just kinda sucked to pay $45 bucks and not get what you ORDERED and clearly a mistake the resteraunt made. The pizza I had was ok, but then again not what I ordered. The garlic knots and potato wedges were great and really tastey! Highly reccomend you try those two items if you do stop by here. Overall for what your paying, the service you recieve and the amount of food you get is not worth it. Just hope to warn some fellow yelpers. Good luck.

Opened up October 2023 with its location at the Seabridge Marketplace on Victoria Ave & Wooley Rd in Oxnard. It's right next door to Chipotle & near Vons. Plenty of free parking available. Just watch out for cars Bec the business is near a congested entrance, which slows down traffic. This is my first time trying a Mountain Mike's establishment. You order & pay at the counter. When dining in, they give you a number & they bring your order to you... Delivery & pick up are available too. Restaurant appeared clean & seemed very Family friendly. The gal at the counter was polite, informative & was able to answer my questions. They have ample amount of tables & booths to sit at inside, as well as outdoor seating. Napkins, hot sauce & pepper flakes found at the tables. Self serve fountain drinks. And yes they have beer & wine here... They do have TV's & a couple of games like a claw machine for the kids. We tried something basic. Got a small Pepperoni Pizza. Tasted really good & pip'n hot. It was cheesy & they didn't skimp on the crispy, curly pepperoni... Now I seriously gotta come back and try their specialty pizzas. Also got the mini churros. These were cute lil bites of cinnamon sweet goodness. Best while they are still warm & Great to share for dessert.

Pizza tastes nostalgic Great food: we tried the garlic knots, buffalo wings, cinnamon sticks. My daughter absolutely loved it! My husband as well. We will definitely be going back. The pizza tastes nostalgic - like the way it used to be made. Nice & crispy. Service was amazing - very attentive and friendly. Omg - LOVE how they have a digital jukebox. My daughter and I played many songs. So you get to vibe and enjoy your meal. They also have game machines too for kids. Overall 10/10: great Friday night hang out spot.

Watch out, Toppers and PMD--Mountain Mike's makes a pretty great pizza too! I had the chance to try Mountain Mike's in the Bay Area a few years ago, and it was delicious. Now they've opened a location just down the street from where I live, so exciting! My last visit was for their lunch buffet, and I think it's an excellent deal. You get unlimited pizza and salad at a great price. Unfortunately, the place wasn't very crowded, but I hope more people give Mountain Mike's a try because they really deserve it. It's great to have more amazing pizza options in the 805!

First time coming to this location. I've had it before when I lived in northern California. No lie... it's just like I remember it. We ordered the Everest pizza with all the fixin' s. Pizza was loaded with toppings just like I like it! The crust was nice and crisp! The wings were saucy and juicy! I usually order them extra crispy but I forgot and honestly they came out great! Nice salad bar with lots of options. Will come back and try more but I recommend this place for sure. Almost forgot .... beer! They have beer! Yum!

Love their pizza! We moved here from Vegas and we enjoy mountain mikes better than toppers and pizza man dans. We always order to go so dont know about the service but they are friendly for pick up and ordering. Its great in there whenever we visit, there is a bunch of games and tvs. They also have music playing in the background. Sad they closed but excited at the chance they may reopen again! read more

Lunch buffet was meh. Pizza wasn't that great, and there was very little variety in the pizzas - unless you like Hawaiian pizza or tons of olives on your pizza. Saltiest pizza I've ever tried. It was so salty that I began to sweat after just two bites. Heart Attack City!! Definitely will not return! Are you nuts??. Kinda stuffy inside this place as well. Ate 2 slices, discreetly dumped the remainder in the trash, not worth saving. It had 3 veggies on it but the Pepperoni dominated the meal with a nasty, salt ridden aftertaste. One good thing though... After some of their pizza, you won't want to eat it for awhile... Quite a while. If u enjoy sweating as you're dining, I highly recommend this place read more

To be fair, all pizza in California can't compare to the worst local place in NY. Occasionally an Italian restaurant or place like Fluid State in Ventura will put out something close to pizza, so we who love pizza can sort of survive. Locally, we have the Pizza Company, Toppers, and Pizza Man Dan's. All kind of the same meh crackers and ketchup. Pizza Company gets a compliment for their sandwiches, Toppers for their salad bar. Mountain Mike's in Seabridge just opened and tried it to go. Granted they are still getting their act together. The owners were nice and were patiently trying to train their staff. Unfortunately, nothing special.. similar to the other places. Salad bar not near as fresh nor as good as Toppers. The pizza and wings flavor a step down from the others in my opinion. I had never had Mountain Mikes until this location and honestly I prefer it to Toppers lol don't hate me. The pizza itself is delicious as well as the sides I've had the mozzarella sticks and the wings both are delicious. The owner is very kind and definitely cultivating a warm fun environment which is always a plus! Staff if very professional and kind, best of all it's WAY more affordable than toppers! If you want to find a "crave able" pizza, try their pepperoni or chicken pineapple luau- both excellent! Unfortunately devoured so quickly, no pictures :) The owner, Bobby is very nice, welcoming and conscientious of the food quality and service you receive. First time at this restaurant. The staff is incredibly friendly and the owner Sam even came over to great us. Sam genuinely cares about his customers and the local community. The business is currently hosting fundraisers for the local schools. Now on to the food! We had the Hawaiian bbq Lua and it was amazing. Crust is perfectly crisp, high quality cheeses and toppings. It was our 1st time ordering from here. We got the Pike's peak pizza. It was amazing!!..fresh,hot and loaded with meat toppings. Wanted to try the basic pepperoni first. Yes it's so good ! Was hot and ready at the time they said it would be for pick up. Bobby was nice and pleasant on phone while taking order. Was ever nicer in person! Other staff came to assistance when he was on phone, which I was a little impressed with. I'm happy they are FINALLY OPEN!!!!!!!!! Has been delayed with city and permits. Ok pizza. We went for the weekday buffet, they had very few choices. I prefer just cheese pizza but there was none. Neither of us like green peppers but that's pretty much what was offered on fully loaded pizza. Focaccia was decent. read more

Ordered delivery. Their current delivery range is around 2 miles. Pizza was delivered hot and earlier than estimated. It is very comparable to the level of pie you'd get a Toppers, but the style is a bit different. The crust is more woodfire style baked, so it's crunchier and less chewy / bready. Once the pizza cools it's still very edible, unlike Toppers where the amazing hot pizza turns into cold chewy rubber after 20 minutes. Got the meat lovers special and all of the toppings were crispy and delicious. Also got the Franks Red Hot wings and they shockingly taste like authentic wings from Buffalo, NY.
