Mountain Mike's Pizza is new in town and I've been excited to give them a first try. The restaurant has plenty of standard parking, but accessible parking is limited to one space to the front of the restaurant. I was pleased to find the restaurant was clean and modern. The staff were very nice and kindly assisted me with carrying my order back to my vehicle since I had a mobility aid. I wasn't expecting that level of service, but it sure showed me that they truly care about their business and customers. There are plenty of tables within the restaurant. The restaurant is family friendly and offers arcade facilities to its patrons. I ordered an original pepperoni pizza and found it to be packed edge-to-edge with delicious pepperoni. I also ordered a McKinley pizza which is like a standard supreme pizza. The McKinley veggies tasted fresh and I really enjoyed this pizza. The pizza reminds me of Shakey's pizza in terms of size and thickness, but Mountain Mike's pizza tastes next level compared to Shakey's which usually leaves me disappointed in taste nowadays. If only Mountain Mike's had a mojo's equivalent, it'd be perfect! The boneless buffalo wings were okay though I wished they were a tad more saucy since the sauce was soaked up by the breading. The garlic sticks with cheese were seasoned well, but my wife thought they tasted a bit like cardboard though I enjoyed them with the provided marinara dipping sauce. All in all, I enjoyed my visit and food. I recommend giving Mountain Mike's a try. I wish the business and its employees much success and I hope they keep their standards high in customer service and restaurant cleanliness especially with the high touch surfaces in the arcade. Well my husband and I were so impressed with this restaurant. Beautifully designed, comfortable and clean . The young lady at the register was so sweet and a pleasure to interact with . We had the lunch buffet. Wow what a great value! The salad bar had a wonderful choice of super fresh vegetables to choice from and some prepared salads as well . The pizza as my husband described it was the best he has ever eaten. We were given a nice variety of pizzas to choose from in the buffet . We both can recommend this place for a bite of pizza you will crave to get again . They do have a small arcade for the littles . read more

Decided to try this place out as it's fairly new to the area and the website had some delicious looking pizza. I ordered up a pepperoni pizza and a salad for pick up @ 6:30. I show up on time and the place gives that nostalgic vibe from my childhood when my folks would bring me to get pizza and I got to play on the arcade while the dodgers were on TVs. Got my pizza lady was friendly and I drove home. Pizza and salad roughly cost me 40 bucks. Pizza was a little big larger than your standard Dominos pizza, slices were cut thin like 2 slices is prob equal to 1 dominos slice. Pizza looked good but unfortunately I could tell this one had been sitting around as it wasn't hot at all, it was loaded with pepperoni, crust was meh, sauce was ok, but unfortunately it was just not hot and fresh out the oven. Salad was just some lettuce mixed with, grape tomatoes, baby carrots, cucumbers, raw onion and cheese with a cup of ranch. I had a Mountain Mike's near my house in Temecula and it was great. The pizza was good and lots of toppings. We have been to the Palmdale location a few times and it was good, but tonight we ordered takeout and the pizza was just bad and the toppings were worse than Domino's. Not sure what happened here but it is really disappointing. We thought we finally got a good pizza place near by. Hopefully they correct whatever they changed or they will not get much business with the prices they are charging for middle of the road pizza. read more

Unfortunately, there are non nearby and so when we found out one had opened in Palmdale, we were really excited! Finally after many moons we got a great pizza here on the east side of Palmdale we have been starving for one for an age. The Za's were bomb well worth every penny , service great , ambiance great , chicken wings 6 for 9.99 and are not to size, aren't worth the price maybe you guys can do something about. decent flavor tho just needs to be a lil more crispy . Decided to give this place a try. Yes, it is pricey -- but it's well worth it. We got the 20-inch pizza. Was so huge. My son told me to come pick up the box, and it said on the box, "Lift with your legs." The pizza looked exactly as shown. We have leftovers today -- and maybe again it was so big. This is probably the best restaurant pizza I've ever had. Fresh and generous toppings. The crust holds when you pick up a slice. I have a preference for well done pizza so I might ask for that next time. Service was great and fast for take out on a Friday night. After visiting numerous locations in NorCal, I was really excited to see they were opening one in Palmdale. Went in for the lunch buffet and was terribly disappointed. Paid $34 for 2 lunch buffets and drinks and was expecting a decent variety of fresh pizza, salad, and other items. The sad truth was the lettuce was wilted and slimy, the pizza tasted like it had been sitting there forever, and the fries and churro baskets were empty until the moment we got up to leave. Spent an hour at the restaurant and they never brought out fresh pizzas. They had 3 pizzas (2 of which were pepperoni) and 1 cheese bread. Not much of a buffet in my opinion. We each had 1 slice of pepperoni and 1 of a chicken pizza; not worth the price in my opinion. Don't advertise a buffet if you plan to be cheap and serve the same stale food for HOURS. You should be able to offer the same experience to a few guests or a full house, without compromising food quality and variety. I'll probably stick to the Shakey's buffet since they put out several fresh pizzas and offer the chicken and mojos as well. Really wanted to love this place, but won't be coming back. read more

I came across Mountain Mike's Pizza by accident on the internet. Based on the pictures I decided to give them a try. i was very disappointed. I ordered the combination meat pizza. The first thing I noticed is the curly pepperoni. Normal pepperoni slices will sink into the cheese and be part of the pizza. However, with the curly pepperoni, they sit on top of the cheese. As a result, the pepperoni is very dried out. There is hardly any sauce on the pizza. The pizza is very plain in taste . Will definitely not be going back. read more

Horrible Horrible Service :( I called ahead 20 minutes and ordered 1 sandwich , they said OK pick it up in 15 to 20 minutes, Exactly 20 minutes after i order it show up, Girl tells me it's not ready yet. It's gonna be about three more minutes., I sit there about 15 minutes and finally what's up with my order? Somebody walked over don't know if it was a manager when I explain what's going on 40 minutes since I placed the order I still have no sandwich, he looks at the kid in the window, making the sandwich and asks him, kid says there's no lettuce, so the guy starts grabbing lettuce out of salad bar, at this point i say FORGET THE LETTUCE i got to go i'm in a hurry, so then the kid says the fries ain't done, REALLY 40 minutes goes by and the fries ain't done? I said forget the fries just give me the sandwich i'm in a hurry, Then the cashier says i'm gonna give you your money back for the sandwich and i'm like OK, so I stay in there a full five minutes, watching him fumble with the register and try to figure out how to give me a refund, I said dude the whole point of this was I was in a hurry, trying to just get my sandwich and go.So I just left without a refund and am not happy about the service there.
