Not only did they serve some seriously fantastic pizza, but they even helped us watch the our fave. sports game on a large TV with great vibes. The employees were very friendly and accommodating, even with a rowdy group of spectators cheering on each shot and pass. I am not a big pizza store guy but this place is strangely an exception for me. I don't come here for the food just the serenity and ambience why? This is your average cozy pizza joint that you would go to if you are a Saratoga native who is busy with work. I love the different flavors of pizza they got here, mine being the Everest. Just because I am broke, I would only come here when I couldn't make the drive home. Luckily for me it only happened once but I would come here again when I am not so broke. The service for me was a bit better but the best idea is not to start any qualms because it's chain restaurant. Also good if you are looking for a sporty pizza. Mountain Mike's is a relatively recent (re)discovery. This one is not too far from where we live and we picked up some pizza from here on the way to meet some friends for a socially distant picnic. Yeah, it's a chain restaurant but this place has been very consistent in their service, speed, and taste. We usually get half Everest / Chicken Club / Sizzling bacon, half Pineapple Chicken Luau and our family can eat pizza for a while. I usually call it in because delivery is pricey, then pick it up. It's quite comparable to Round Table in quality, and it hits the spot. Definitely a step up from other pizza chains that I won't list here. With San Jose lacking in good, independent pizza joints, I think they deserve 4 stars for their consistency and quality. read more

On Tuesdays, the pizzas are 40% off - no coupon needed! (They also have a different combo pizza named after Everest, and a white sauce pizza called Snowy Alps...so cute!!!) Should have checked reviews before ordering. I called for a simple pick up order of 2 pies. Was told it would be 40 minutes !?! I get there and there is literally one person working in the kitchen and no one at register. Takes 5 minutes for the person to come out and even acknowledge a waiting customer (he could previously see me over the counter but didn't even make eye contact) and tell me my pizza is going to take another 10 minutes. It actually takes 20 more minutes. The pizza is small for the price. Their medium size is closer to a small at other places. The pizza is OK, nothing to justify the cost or cooking time. I get home to open the box and see they put salami on a vegetarian pizza. So I had to call and complain, they offered to remake one in 15 min, I had to drive back to pick it up again. The simple task of picking pizza on the way home from work turned into a frustrating 2 hour experience and ruined my evening. read more
