I haven't been here in years but randomly stopped by today! I got 5 huge slices for $31!!! All the slices we got were super good and I would def come back more often. I came in for a quick slice before my movie. Ordering was quick and easy. I pointed at the exact slice I wanted and the worker heated it up for me. The workers were all really friendly. I love that their sauce is free! That's rare in the Bay Area. The worker said the one I got was pesto ranch. It was good and went well with my pizza. They also have a pizza sauce available. I haven't come to this particular Pizza my heart in so long and I always seem to forget. It's pretty close. Lol I wish I would've known the ladies name, but there was an incredibly sweet and friendly manager type lady that was working there who noticed after my pesto cheese pizza was cooked. It was a little extra crispy and brought me out another piece! She was so sweet and hospitable to notice. I didn't really notice the pizza was burnt until I took a bite and it was extra crispy! Lol. The Seating area was rather large and there seem to be a birthday party going on in the back. I also loved their background with the Amazon style and what not. I saw a group take a picture and it almost looked like they were at the rainforest Café and not a pizza my heart! Lol. I also liked the fact that this particular location had vegetarian and vegan options for those that need sliced pizza and those accommodations were there. The only thing that I would say which does not reflect upon the business is, there was a homeless person outside who seem to eat somebody else's leftover pizza. That homeless person tried to steal one of Pizza my heart trays as one of the employees was taking out the trash and the employees said something to the homeless person and they came inside to put the tray away lol. Absolutely awful. I haven't had Pizza my heart in a while and was looking forward to it. When you spend close to $70 on pizza and wings, you expect to get good food. I ordered bbq wings with ranch and received undercooked wings with no bbq sauce or ranch. I had to throw them out. I'm thoroughly disappointed with the Saratoga location. I came here for a fundraiser and ordered the Sunset pizza to go. I've been to this location a few times and the customer service is a hit or miss. This time, the person working at the register was great - friendly and efficient. After a few minutes of waiting, I got my pizza and headed home. I was looking forward to enjoying my pizza with some red peppers and ranch. First bite was fine, 2nd bite was a little off... and by the 3rd bite, I realized that there was something not quite right about the pizza. I spit out what I had in my mouth and smelled the slice I had. It had a weird chemically smell to it - like the sprays used for cleaning. No clue how that happened. I checked the rest of the pizza and yup - all of them had that same smell on parts of the pizza, even the box. I called Pizza My Heart right away and explained the situation - they were able to cancel my charge and I threw the pizza away. Bummer. So let's face it, COVID took a toll on many restaurants and during that time there were a few one star reviews. I have been coming to Pizza My heart next to the AMC Theaters for many years. Their salads and pizza are really good. The inside interior gives the feeling of a beach style pizza place. The employees have always been very polite and professional to me and they're willingness to modify a pizza to my request really pleases me. One thing I'd like to point out is how clean this particular restaurant is kept. Now it gets really busy especially after a movie and often there is not a lot of seating. Whenever they are not busy (very rare) employees go about cleaning including the restrooms. They primarily sell slices which remind me of the style of pizza from Venice Beach, CA. The tomatoe sauce is not spicy and the ingredients are always top notch. The salads taste fresh with a wide variety to choose from. I really like the choice of salad dressings. This is a really nice store lo visit, located right next to the AMC theater. First thing I noticed was how. Spacious the establishment is then I noticed all the cool surfboards and old surfboard pictures.They have tables as well as booths and TV screens. Now for the good part I ordered a slice of pepperoni and a slice of Canadian bacon and pineapple. The pepperoni was slightly spicy and dripping oil "just how I like it" the crust is thin and actually very good (I even ate the bones) Service was fast and friendly. Love Pizza My Heart! Big Sur is definitely the one to order. It has all the best toppings, including meats (pepperoni, sausage), mushrooms, green onions, and best of all.. roasted garlic! I have been here many times in the past, but had drifted away in the last couple years in favor of Mod and Blaze, which are much closer to my office and offered the thin, crispy, BYO, that I like. Now that I don't really get up near the office due to the ongoing WFH lifestyle many of us lead, I thought I would revisit this old favorite and take one to my Mom (94 YO) and have lunch today. I figured since we can't hang in the restaurants, PMH would be a great choice since I always loved their "Maverick's". Happy to say, it is actually as good or better than before and I am sad that I had been away so long. It is a little sad to walk in and see all the surf oriented decorations and photos that the family and I used to look at while eating in. Still, my pizza was ready to go and done to perfection at the appointed pick up time. The place looked clean as always and the professional staff gave me my goods and took payment with all the new customary caution. My mom and I loved this pizza as we had before. The crust was the right amount of crispy and the toppings are really great. They know to lay on the garlic and all. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars was their service was great. I hadn't been here in awhile so the woman working up front told me all the pizzas they had by the slice. I really wanted the little sur but apparently it's no longer available by the slice. I ended up with the vegetarian and cheese. Nice that they have pineapples in the refrigerator. The cons --- and this is huge. Why is their pizza soooo salty. And the price of the slice is insane. I spent like $12 for the slices and a bottle of sprite. (Possibly more but I'm hoping not). I don't recall their pizza being that salty and also what happened to the pizza sauce. Sadly, while convenient to the movie theater I'd probably try just the salad next time. Yummy pizza! My daughter and I picked up some pizzas a few nights ago. A large combo, a medium veggie and a gluten free bbq chicken. The pizzas were perfectly cooked and very delicious!
