I liked the pizza so much at the Via Mia in Morgan Hill a couple months ago that I decided to try a location in San Jose. Had a medium BBQ chicken pizza and a chocolate chip cookie pizza delivered for dinner. The pizza was excellent. It was absolutely loaded with marinated chicken and tomatoes, and also had mozzarella, red onions, and zucchini on it. I appreciated that it wasn't drowning in BBQ sauce, there was just enough. I wasn't sure if I would like zucchini on the pizza, but they were small pieces that added a nice crunchy element. The crust was soft and chewy and tasted great. The chocolate chip cookie pizza was okay. I probably wouldn't order it again because there was nothing special about the way it tasted. It was just very, very sweet. Looking forward to trying some of their other pizzas in the future. read more

I tried via mia Pizza first time. It was okay to taste, but they charge tip too much even if I took out the pizza. I had shock that they charge tip for togo. Tip is not force requirement. They didn't tell me they charge tip even if togo. Do not togo via mia pizza. Many pizza restaurants are better than them without tip. read more

I dont really write reviews but this small pizza place is bomb. They have a bunch of options and their calzones are the size of my forearn. It was empty when we came in (monday afternoon) and the service was quick. To be honest the older man with a strong italian accent seemed to not be the chatty type but that how you know the food is bomb. Favorite pizza place in the local area. They say the meat is Halal and so I go. The full meat pizza is absolutely incredible. Super feeling. The guys are really nice here at a relocation to be honest, but here as well. There is some indoor seating, but if you're looking for some serious ambience, this might not be the place but when I'm hungry and I want some pizza, it's definitely good spot. I eagerly anticipated receiving cheesy pepperoni pizza based on reviews & since I've been to their other location but this missed the mark. $11.99 for a small pepperoni pizza. You can tell by the photo how DRY and sparse the toppings are. Where is the cheese? It looked and tasted like it was overcooked also. I asked for extra sauce but scant there as well. Perhaps they are cutting back on toppings due to economy, but I'd rather pay a bit more for quality. I love their other location on Camden but maybe it's different owner/management. read more

4.5 stars I've been eyeing this place for a while; decided to try it for the first time using the credit from an on-line app. Ordered an extra large Italian which is the only option available in this size from the app. The pizza is very tasty while not overly salty made with very fresh ingredients. There is a nice chewiness to the crust which we loved and set it apart from other places. Hubby declared that it's the best pizza he has had for a long time; he'll give 5 stars if there are more toppings toward the edges. The Italian pizza is covered with a lot of raw green onion and some chopped garlic which can be overwhelming to some; we'd like try some of the other good looking pizzas. This is a small Italian spot that specializes in pizza and is in a complex with more good food than you'd realize! I ended up ordering a pepperoni pizza stick which came with 12 big pieces with lots of pepperoni and cheese. They gave a side of margarita sauce as well. The service was fast for when we ordered and the ambiance is more chill. Don't expect any fancy frills but some good pizza with casual seating. Love this halal pizza chain. Their spicy combination pizzas are what we usually go for ( mariachi, fajitas, chipotle chicken etc). The service is fast and the flavors are delicious! We have tried the Saratoga, Cupertino and San Jose branches and all are great. They told us the Morgan Hill branch is not halal. The place looks clean and the staff is friendly. There's also plenty of parking as there is a parking lot. Price is reasonable for what you get. The food is delicious! This has been our go to calzone spot for years, finally got around to writing a review! The portions are massive and so tasty. We order two all meat calzones every time, and they are always packed full with cheese, pepperoni, and salami. It's super filling, and ends up lasting two meals! It's pretty greasy and I'm sure it's not healthy but it's delicious and great for cheat day :) I usually place an order over the phone, and it's ready within 15 mins. read more

I called them to place the order for a garlic bread and medium size speciality pizza (half n half) with via Mia chicken and garden blast veggie pizza. The person on phone was very accommodating in this customization. The wait time was 10-15 mins. The pickup was smooth, I really suggest a pickup because your food won't get cold due to delay in delivery, they give 10% off on pickups and then $4 yelp checkin off if the bill is more than $25. Pizza: The pizza was perfect, since many times I've been eating Indian pizzas so this was a good change and I wanted to try here for a while. I loved the veggie one, full loaded with artichoke and veggies. The person said the chicken one is really spicy but I didn't find it spicy at all, so I wish it was more spicy, though it still tasted nice. Garlic Bread: the garlic bread was also well packed and hot. I want to mention the service size was huge. I ate it for sides for 3 meals and still have enough for 4th time. It's pricey too I'll say $10 for a side of garlic bread. My suggestion would be if the owner can give half the quantity for half the prices. Just so people ordering just a small pizza under $10 also find it ok to order a garlic bread side of $5. Overall the place was pretty clean and well managed even during covid times. We ordered delivery directly from them and they gave us $4 off. I think it's the yelp offer that's $4 off of $25 or more deal. They offer free delivery within 5 miles! It took about 30 mins or less for the pizza to arrive. We ordered a XL supreme pizza for $32 but after discount was $28. It was so delicious. The pizza was a bit flimsy and the bottom edge of the pizza was a bit scrunched up when it arrived but it didn't matter that much to me. It was still hot too. I loved the chewy and doughy crust. It had a lot of toppings too. The XL didn't seem XL for 3 people. I'm glad I ordered a XL instead of a large. We only had 2 pieces leftover because I only ate 2. The other two people both ate 4 pieces each. It would be nice if they gave us more parmesan cheese and red pepper...we only got 2 of each. read more
