So hot it melted the plastic cover! Good but not great.
    Craig Y.

Great meatballs! This was a hard place to rate because on one hand - really great meatballs and an awesome stromboli. Pizza crust also nice and flavorful. Surprising lack of toppings on the cheese + two toppings pizza but the pesto chicken pizza was loaded. The pasta was only okay, but some in our group loved it. Overall, the meatballs would push me over the edge and I would come here again. FOOD: Overall, I loved the menu. Good selection and I love that they have so many options. Again the meatball is terrific, but surprisingly they don't offer it as a topping on the pizza. Stromboli was the best I've had. They really filled it up unlike other Italian places. And the pizza was very tasty despite the lack of toppings. SERVICE: Wasn't well packaged. The pasta was so hot the plastic melted (made me a little worried). One pizza box was crushed (but thankfully the pizza was fine). But the portion sizes were very nice. COST: Very reasonable. Definitely affordable. Would give them another chance.

I lived in Campbell for a short time 30 years ago, and Luigi's was my go to place for pizza. Their pizza was scrumptious and they kindly made me personal size pizzas that weren't on the menu. For some reason I haven't been there in ... 30 years. Had the Super Baked Rigatoni delivered tonight. It arrived piping hot and was so delicious. I really liked the Italian sausage on top and the penne inside. It was very filling, so I saved half for tomorrow. They included bread with my order, which was a nice surprise. The bread was soft and chewy, but it didn't have any butter or garlic on it. Just plain bread. If it was supposed to be garlic bread, I couldn't taste it. I'd like to go back to the restaurant someday and see if it still looks like it did 30 years ago and try more of their pasta.

Not going to lie this pizza place was fantastic. I had no idea it was even here until a friend took me! Writing this review is making me hungry for their pizza all over again. Definitely coming back to try something new.

Very yummy!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Visited w the best company and found a pretty casual looking italian diner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered a mushroom pesto pizza, baked rigatoni, and linguini with vodka sauce and they were all so great!

    Menu as of 12/2/21

I haven't had Luigi's for a while since it's a far drive for me, but I was craving the chicken pesto pasta. When I called to place the order, I was disappointed to learn that the mushrooms are no longer included ($2 extra). It's no longer worth the drive for me.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A homey and authentic casual Italian restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love trying new pasta places; came across this one while browsing on Yelp and it didn't disappoint. You order at a counter before sitting down, and our food was brought to us fairly quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant isn't a fancy one. I came at a quiet time but I can imagine it being lively and a fun casual dinner spot for friends or family.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the sausage and chicken linguine with vodka sauce, and it was pretty good. The chicken and sauce could be more flavorful, but I still enjoyed it. My partner ordered the baked rigatoni and enjoyed it as well. I would say the pastas are nothing out of this world, but they were comforting and simple. I really enjoyed the garlic bread, I'd say that was my favorite part of the meal. Prices aren't cheap (somewhere around $20 per dish?) but the portions are decent-sized. I'd love to come back again to try other pastas and the pizzas!

This review is for their Sausage and Chicken Linguine with Vodka Sauce. I saw past positive reviews for this dish, so I had high expectations. I was a little disappointed. The sauce and the chicken lacked flavor. Sausage was good though. Serving size was also smaller than other pictures posted. I ordered it to go and ate it at work. I didn't eat much of it, but I took the rest home. I added some heat, salt, and cheese, which made it better.

Is 5 stars even enough for this place? Seriously! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The most vintage, family friendly place ever.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had our son's 16th surprise party here and they exceeded expectations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We rented the private room for 3 hours. It was the perfect size.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They helped me a couple days before with determining how much food to order. Everyone LOVED their pizzas and salads! The owners were the friendliest people ever! We felt so welcomed and attended to. Thank you Luigis for everything! Definitely coming back again!

I was feeling a like some Italian today so I decided to try out this old fashion Italian little Ristorante Luigi's with very good authentic style Italian food. I had the Chicken Pesto and Salami Pizza and have also tried the Creamy Chicken Garlic and Ham. Both were excellent and Muy Bueno Pizza's. The menu is deep of choices from the Pizza's to the Sandwiches to the Pasta to the Stromboli and Spaghetti and the Vino- Wine and beers they have. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is cozy and looks like it has the special rooms for the FAMILIA type of events.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I suggest you check them out. They also have a coffee room - Luigi's Cafe. I met Joe and he was very service oriented and respectful a true professional and family type of personality. They have been around since 1985. In a big shopping center with a bunch of different types of merchants. I even saw some theatre cinema next to them. Check out the menu. I will be back with friends and family. Easy to get to with major streets and freeway access.

Luigi's was a great option for pizza. The pesto chicken was really good. It was a bit greasy but that was expected because it was pesto and the melted cheese. I also tried the chicken Alfredo, which was pretty standard. I felt like it could use some more salt but everything is to taste, so I just added what was right for me. The restaurant is self serve so you order and you get your own drinks and napkins, etc. They bring the food to the table however which is nice. They are pretty quick about getting the orders out. I went with a group of 6 people and we all had our meals within 20 minutes.

Very bad experience of delivery leaking box The pizza typing in the box it looks like they dropped in floor and hand it to deiver

Great Spot for Families! We had a great experience here. The service was friendly, and our food came out quickly--just 12 minutes! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was plenty of room for our family, and it felt kid-friendly, which is always a plus.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The pizza tasted great too. Definitely a solid place to bring the family for a casual meal.

Both the lasagna and 3 meat Alfredo penne pasta were delicious! Service was so friendly and prompt. They brought us a sample of the pizza which we will try next time. Garlic bread was also delicious. Definitely good quality food at a reasonable price point. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has a nice casual mom and pop ambience![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I recommend for anyone in the Campbell area.

We called ahead around 845 to verify our 9pm reservation because we saw they closed at 9:30pm and we wanted to be respectful of their time. Bryan answered the phone and assured us we will have enough time to be seated and served before closing. He was very kind and welcoming so we headed over. We were greeted by Chris and seated immediately in the table that he let us choose. He made thoughtful suggestions on location being by the window, the booth where it was quieter or wherever we wanted because "this place is yours". This is not a typical thing I usually experience when being seated so this stood out to my wife and I. We appreciated this gesture. Once seated he took our drink orders, my wife wanted to try one of the wines before getting a glass so he brought a small sample. Once returning he asked if she wanted to select another or "take this one for a drive". The expression was simple and displayed the thoughtfulness that came from him the entire night. Simply taking time to craft words and be present is something that we noticed and appreciated. We ordered a carbonara and a pasta with prawn. The food came out fairly quickly since we arrived at a time past some of the peak hours. The bread with olive oil and balsamic came out first obviously. The carbonara and prawn pasta was so beautifully plated and presented that we forgot to take a picture for this review. We dug into the food immediately. At this time, maybe a coincidence, I checked my watch to be mindful of the time. At the same time, Kevin walked up to our table to let us know what we are good on time and that, "the back hasn't started the dishes or started cleaning up yet". There were still other parties around at that time. This was another detail that stood out to me. He might have seen me check my watch but to know what I was thinking at that moment and then respond to it is a first for me. This is beyond thoughtful. After a couple more wholesome interactions with Kevin and Chris, we ended up ordering a pannacota. This was the best I have ever had in my life. Kevin stayed for a while to chat while Chris was tending to other tables at the time. I can't say enough about the warmth in this place shown by Bryan, Chris and Kevin. I will definitely return and I want to bring my family there. The food was top tier but the people were what will bring me back.

To be honest, when I opened the menu, I thought the price was a bit on the high side, and didn't expect to like it in the "worth it" scale. But hey, for a higher price, they better deliver on the food quality! It most certainly disappoint. The food was amazing. Got the Linguini Fruti Di Mare, the seafood was good quality, the cioppino sauce was intense. It truly is the boss of the sauce. Also ordered the Chicken Marsala, I'm always cautious before ordering because the marsala wine can easily become overwhelming, or the sauce is too sour, or the chicken is tough and dry. I did not hit any of those, but rather, what I got was a few silky smooth and tender pieces of flattened chicken breasts, that is moist and flavorful. The sauce is great too, not to mention the mushroom, that is so fresh and flavorful on its own. Last but not least, their attention to detail went all the way to mashed potato and steamed vegetables. It was truly one of the best. Did I mention the free, fresh baked foccacia? It's among the top 3 I've had in any restaurants, ever. At the end, even it pinches my wallet a bit, it was well worth it. Come hungry, leave happy!

Now I get why Sorelle has such a high score, and I'm happy that we finally gave it a try…read more It's situated in a small strip mall, parking is ok as we came at around 6:30pm on a week day night, there were still some spots available. Sorelle is a small restaurant, upon entering, it has a square room and you get to see everything at one glance. It's not fancy on decorations, more like a neighborly place and the customers look like so too, families and large groups on a random day, you don't need to dress up to eat in this place. The 2 page menu has appetizers, salad, pizza, pasta, and 3 entree dishes. Desserts are printed on a separate sheet, there are a variety of choices but a tad too expensive for my wallet. We ordered the Ravioli a la Teresa with cheese and pesto cream sauce, and their signature Sorelle Short Rib Bolognese. After ordering, we were given free bread for the table. The bread had herbs on top and the dipping sauce is olive oil with fried and then mashed soft garlic. The bread looked nothing special, but once I touched it, I was delighted to find out that they were warm and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside. It took a bit of wait for our food to came, I think it meant they were freshly cooked. The portions were big. Once laying down our food, the lady came with a big bowl of cheese and helped us sprinkle on top. It looks amazing with the cheese on top, like snow flakes melting on. I am so impressed with my short rib bolognese. The piece of short rib was sumptuous, a whole piece, resting on top of the pasta that is covered in meat sauce. The meat itself was so soft that it was super easy to tear off and just melts in my mouth. Flavorful and soft and juicy, super yummy! The pasta is cooked el dente, and each bite there's a bit of ground meat coated on the ziti pasta from the bolognese sauce. Very satisfying! I had a bite of the ravioli and these huge dumplings are covered in fresh pesto sauce and very cheesy inside. Although I was a bit confused on the difference between a pesto sauce and a pesto cream. I felt like the sauce was more pesto but we ordered pesto cream. Anyhow, it tasted good but I prefer my short rib bolognese more. Bus boy service is fast and responsive. We had a very enjoyable meal.

The food was a bit saltier than our personal preference. The cream pasta substitution, despite the extra charge, wasn't anything particularly memorable compared to similar dishes we've had at other restaurants. However, the highlight of our visit was definitely the warm and welcoming customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel appreciated. We also appreciate that the restaurant closes for a few hours in the afternoon before reopening for dinner service. It's nice to see a business that gives its staff a break during the day. Parking can be a bit challenging due to the busy neighborhood. Be aware that street parking is paid, and most spots have a two-hour limit, so you'll need to keep an eye on the time. The seafood linguine was packed with fresh flavor and perfectly cooked pasta, while the pork chop was incredibly tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. What made the night even better was the exceptional service. Our server, Jacob, was informative, attentive, and incredibly friendly. He even recommended a perfect Merlot to pair with the pork chop, which complemented the meal beautifully. We wrapped up the celebration with the tiramisu, which was outstanding--the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Disappointing (non)service. Save your money for a place that wants you to spend it…read more Honestly, I really wanted to like this place. It was cute. The ambiance was nice. The food looked good, but my date and I didn't get a chance to try it. I live in the area and have always seen this place when going past. It looked cool and since it had such great yelp review, I thought tonight would be a good time to try it out. Just got out from a comedy show and we arrived at 9:10pm - it says they close at 10pm so we should be ok right? We only wanted to stop in, get a drink or two, and maybe 1-2 apps. After being greeted by the host, who was very nice, we told her that we just wanted to sit at the bar and get a drink and maybe a couple apps. She said "great!" with a big smile and led us there. While being led there I noted that the place had really cool decor and lighting, felt very cozy and italian. This is where it switched from a nice experience into a really quite bad one. As soon as we sat at the bar we felt unwelcome. There was a bartender there, middle-aged man with glasses and longish shaggy black hair that immediately gave us a "mean mug" type look. "That's strange..." I thought to myself. He did not greet us and seemed pre-occupied with closing the bar, wrapping up the beer spigots etc. The vibe was totally off, we are unwanted it seems. We sat there for maybe 1-2 minutes until he finally turned to us and said "Are you guys waiting for someone?" "We just want a menu" my date replied. "The restaurant is closed" he said, in quite a brusk and rude tone. I looked at my watch. It was 9:15pm. "But it says you guys close at 10pm, is that not the case?" I piped up. "No." he said, shaking his head. He turned his back to us. At this point I thought, lets go to a place that wants our money. I work with customers in my day job and would never be able to interact with a customer in the way he did. Honestly, if you're that way with customers I feel you're more suited to a warehouse job than you are working a bar. "We're not wanted here, lets leave" I said to my date. We got up and left. With people working like that working at their restaurant - save your money and go to some place else with good service. If the bar itself was closed, fine, offer us a table or something. Be nice about it. Instead we got quite rude (non)service. Again, the host was nice, keep her. But buyer beware - if you come during the last hour expect to be treated like you're unwanted garbage from unfriendly bartenders. Maybe update your hours if you "actually" close 50 minutes before it says you do?

AMAZING food, we were absolutely spoiled by the fabulous cuisine and excellent service. Even more…read moreamazing that we rolled up without a reservation on a busy Friday night and had one of the best Italian meals on the planet. I just wish I could dine there every day. We enjoyed arugula salads with grape tomatoes and salmon with vegetables. Every food item was perfectly prepared, tasty and utterly delicious. We followed dinner with a spumoni bombe - covered with chocolate. Heartily recommended for food and ambiiance.

Once the food arrived there was no follow up. We had to flag another server down for some condiments I really wanted to like this restaurant because the outdoor seating is inviting However I was sad that my out of town guest ate little and refused a take home container my pesto and salmon pasta was too heavy on the dairy and the salmon was not fresh it had that stale salmon strong taste., which I decided to bring home for my pet. I had a Sicilian coworker who was passionate about Sicilian food. Unfortunately the food here lacked passion. It failed to deliver for us. I would not bring out of town guests here unless you've had a previous experience with the food on par with the higher reviews. I'm sorry that I had to rate this as such.

This review is long overdue!…read more From the moment we sat down, Luke made our entire dining experience unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely excited to help us experience the best of the menu. To start, we were surprised with complimentary spicy meatballs and fresh crudités served with a delicious mascarpone cheese dip, a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for the evening. When we asked Luke for his recommendations, he absolutely delivered. We ordered the pork fried rice, and wow... 10/10! It was packed with flavor and is something I still think about. For our main course, Luke recommended the chef's choice preparation of the Chateaubriand, and it was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and one of the best steaks we've ever had. For appetizers, we ordered multiple rounds of the chilled oysters, a non-negotiable whenever my husband and I dine somewhere that serves fresh oysters. They were incredibly fresh and delicious. The cocktail menu was just as impressive. Every drink had its own unique flavor profile and beautiful presentation, making each one feel like an experience of its own. To finish the evening, we ordered the tableside Sticky Toffee Pudding, and it was the perfect ending. The presentation was fun, interactive, and absolutely delicious. Be.STEAK delivers so much more than just an incredible meal, it's a complete dining experience. The food, cocktails, presentation, and service were all exceptional, but Luke truly elevated the entire night. His recommendations were spot on, his hospitality was outstanding, and he made us feel genuinely welcomed from beginning to end. We can't wait to come back and will absolutely be asking for Luke again. Thank you for making our evening so memorable!

Terrific Food, Drinks, and Excellent Service!…read more I recently brought my daughter to Be.Steak.A for Sunday Brunch for her Birthday and it was excellent. Carlton provided excellent service from the start to the finish of our brunch. He was very friendly, detailed, knowledgeable, service-oriented, efficient, and professional. My daughter and I have eaten at many excellent restaurants and this is definitely one of them with the hot food and service from Carlton. We started off by ordering their three specialty Mocktails that they have listed in their drink menu. It was Amaro Almond Sour, SOHO Seventy Five, and Bitter Little Thing. I also requested a Strawberry Mojito. Their drinks are terrific! We could definitely taste and distinguish the different flavors within the drinks which were combined expertly. Hats off to the bartender. For the food, we headed straight to the hot food in the kitchen area where it was well presented and displayed. We had terrific Crispy Ribs, Salmon, Prime Rib, Beef Wellington, and Clam Chowder. There are many other choices and selections of foods which is all based on your personal preference. You definitely won't be disappointed. The Prime Rib and Clam Chowder were top notch and exquisite. We also tried their seafood station which included oysters, shrimp, fish, and crab. Those were good. The caviar station was nicely displayed with the different types of caviar. The caviar, with our understanding and perception, was a disappointment. It lacked true flavor, character, and ambience. But the dessert station was brilliant, impressive, and awe-inspiring. We tried a variety of cakes, the creme brulee, boba, mille-feuille, chocolate mousse, and they were terrific. Carlton brought out my daughter's birthday presentation and it is definitely something to enjoy. We thoroughly enjoyed the brunch and expert service from Carlton. Overall, an excellent experience with terrific food and and excellent service! Buongiorno!
