Order showed up 30 minutes late and all of the pizzas were undercooked, boxes were crushed and pizzas were smashed in the corner of the boxes as you can see in the photos. I was put in charge of the pizza for a small outdoor gathering of family, and the Yelps led me here. I had forgotten they are here on State Street (what a rad address, by the way, 777) and as I was on a tight schedule, they were the most convenient pickup location. I ordered right here on Yelp which was absolutely the most convenient. I was able to schedule a pickup several hours in advance so I could swing by, drop in, and be on my way. Well, it almost was that smooth. They're taking the mask thing VERY seriously here, so I had to return to my car and get mine. I did have to wait a few minutes while they finished the order, but it was in the right window of time and it was hot when I got it. I ordered a basic pepperoni and a basic cheese (7.99) and then a Hawaiian and potato something or other (12.99) and it was pretty reasonable. They make larger pizzas, but mine were all 12-inch and everyone was A-OK with the choice. I really wanted to like this place because of their pick up specials and it was around the corner from my hotel. The pizza dough was not cooked all the way it was still raw! We ate here after a stop at Big Deluxe Tattoo and I can honestly say that this is a great joint for GOOD, CHEAP pizza (also wings and bread sticks). They also have a large sitting area to eat your pizza or hang out while you wait. This definitely qualifies as a "hole in the wall " pizza joint. One might not have a very favorable first impression of the place - which is understandable based on the sketchy characters hanging around outside, the dim environment and the not-so-glitzy ambiance/decor. However, no one got sick, the food was tasty and the cheese and pepperoni pizzas were only $5 ..... no harm no foul. In my opinion, some if the best food options come from the least expected places and I have zero regrets giving this place a go. Parking was plentiful, but we were there at 8pm-ish and there weren't any businesses open at this time to compete for parking. The service was counter style and the owner was SUPER pleasant. Heck, he even offered us a deluxe pie for 1/2 price because they made it by mistake .... BONUS!!! I ordered using UberEats late on a Sunday night. My order arrived in a timely manner. The food was warm, but not hot. The driver did make another stop prior to my delivery so that's understandable. My unwrapped fork was thrown in the bag. I was still hopeful when I removed the lid from the aluminum container. Unfortunately, I was quickly disappointed. The pasta lacked flavor and sauce. The onions were raw and most of the pasta was almost dry with only a tiny amount of what looks like could be the Alfredo sauce.
