Mountain mikes, I am really sorry to say this but I love the pizza, but today, we went and not one person had on a mask. When asked they said they did not have to wear a mask. All it takes is one person to be sick. They don't check your temperature at the door, they don't seem to care about people who they serve. I do understand it was a Friday night but that's no excuse for a rude cashier who didnt want to take our $100 bill;eventhough i saw plenty of change in her drawer ,dirty tables, (that we had to clean ourselves) dirty bathrooms with broken locks on the door & soda spills on the floor by the soda dispenser that no one bothered to clean while we were there. People were actually having to step in soda while getting their fountain drinks. Might I add it was so stuffy in there I really doubt the AC was on. I ordered breadsticks to go and was told it would be 20 minutes when we showed up to pay for him they told us they'd be ready in 2 minutes 25 minutes later are breadsticks weren't ready. We have ordered from Mountain Mike's several times and we have never really had any issues with them -- the pizza is great and there isn't much to complain on this part. This particular location has been our primary spot that we have ordered both takeout and delivery from on numerous occasions. Usually, we order delivery from their website that directs us accordingly. They offer contactless delivery which we appreciate a lot because we are a household of busy adults, we generally sympathize and appreciate customer service and tip accordingly to show this. We decided to order for delivery on a busy working day at the house like usual today. The reason why this review has 1 star is because of the treatment of our mother, an elderly woman who thanked the delivery person upon arrival, by the employee. We have never received any notification if our location, roughly 5 miles away from this store, would be an issue for delivery. However, the employee spoke with a tone to our mother saying that they would not deliver to our address anymore. No explanation, a full sour tone. We all work customer service so we understand the struggle, especially during this time. Regardless, the treatment our mother received, which two of us had witnessed, was completely uncalled for. We have never had any issues with this Mountain Mike's location before, we have never received any prompt or explanation from the store notifying us if they are unable to deliver to our address. To try to get some context to notify the store of this employee's behavior/customer service, we attempted to call the store directly. We received understanding from the person over the phone, however, the issue was not resolved. They would not let us speak to a manager nor would they ensure us if the delivery person will be dealt with appropriately. Generally, this place is alright, but their customer service is heavily questionable. If you are unable to provide us with any guidance or notification of any services you are unable to do -- explain that to the customer. Thank you. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. In the past I have had problems several times before where the pizza delivered goes to the wrong house address... and I don't know why. Today I was heading home and had an eta of 1 hr (which the pizza also had a eta of one hour for delivery). Bay Area traffic is sometimes a little more or less but long story short, it was supposed to be delivered and just left on the doorstep (that's what grub hub told me). I get there in less than 5 mins of speaking to the rep and there was no pizza. So I call grub hub again thinking maybe they took the pizza back to the pizza place (even though they had earlier confirmed that the pizza had been left on my front doorstep), turns out the pizza is not on my porch or at the pizza place. I spoke with Jennifer at grub hub and told her my situation and she told me I would get a full refund because of the situation. Right afterward I send a follow up email to grub hub to only be told I will not get a refund, but offered a pitiful 50% coupon. All I wanted was my pizza. If you couldn't give that to me and it seems that the deliverer of the pizza is shady and made off with the pizza, then I want the full refund I was requested. Currently in a word battle with grub hub. This is probably the fourth or fifth time I have had issues with this mountain mikes location, and I've had enough. I'm at the most clueless Mountain Mike's Pizza. It's buffet night and they had no pizzas. They put out a single pepperoni pizza, which was immediately devoured. They finally bring out a BBQ chicken with pineapple pizza and some sort of a supreme pizza with hotdogs (yes, hotdogs) on it. Then they put out a quasi-Hawaiian pizza. Noticing a restaurant full of hungry kids including my own, I asked when they were going to put a "normal" pizza. The owner replied with a heavy accent, "what is a normal pizza"? I told him about the wonders of a pepperoni and cheese. He eventually put out another pepperoni pizza (which was immediately devoured) and I received silent nods of approval from other parents. The icing on the cake; the whole time we were there, in a place packed with kids, the TV played recent South Park episodes. I arrived at 11:30 AM with my two young ( 2 & 4) grandkids. The one employee (I never saw anyone else working there in the hour I was there!) was on the phone taking an order. Although I was standing there waiting to order, he took another phone call before taking my order. Midway through the call he starts waving at me. And I asked if I could have a bigger cup so I wouldn't have to get up numerous times. He basically waved me off. I asked if there was a highchair for my grandson. Again, over to the right. I left 1 small water cup on the counter and took one of the larger cups that were stacked up on the counter. We found a booth that wasn't torn and dirty. I got the kids situated and went and got water for us. The lids that I'd been told would fit the small "Dixie" cup didn't come close. They were for a small sized soda cup. After 30 minutes I went to ask when our pizza would be ready. The sole employee was back in the kitchen cooking. He put up 3 fingers. When he brought the pizza I had to ask for plates and silverware to cut the pizza into pieces for my 2 yr old grandson. When he came back he asked if I was ready to PAY for the large cup I'd taken. Excuse me? He told me they were for soda only and there was a sign there saying as much. I told him if he'd given me proper attention when taking my order I might have known that. Further, I was sitting IN the restaurant drinking water. This was NOT a disposable cup that some establishments consider "inventory", it was a reusable drinking glass! And I hadn't taken anything but the WATER I'd requested, yet he expected me to PAY for the use of the glass. I truly thought he was kidding and sat there starting at him. I finally told him to just take the damn thing. How absolutely ridiculous! I've been to plenty of restaurants and never heard of anything like this! I ordered delivery from this location. I took well over the quoted time, it arrived cold, and when I paid with a $50 bill she said that she didn't have change. A bill of $41 and change paid with a $50 bill and you don't have $8 and change to give change back. The second we (my dad and I) walk into this place we are accosted by small, unsupervised children. I wasn't able to access the bathroom because there were two tables of 7 people a piece sitting at either and also wandering around the tables. And when I got into the bathroom in the first place there were almost no locks on any of the stall doors, and, the light was flickering so uncomfortably that I felt like I was going to end up being the next victim in a slasher flick. Regardless of my death they probably still wouldn't clean the bathroom. Ordering went smoothly, and, our food was brought to us. Half of our cheese/pepperoni pizza had no toppings, no sauce, just dough. And what little toppings were on the rest were meager still, it was basically just poofy bread with little to no substance to speak of. We'd also ordered an appetizer (which arrived after our pizza) of buffalo and barbecue wings. They were burnt to the point most, if not all, of the flavor from their respective sauces was nonexistent. Other than our very lackluster order we received, a lot of the tables around us were unclean from previous customers. They still charged my card for the pizza and a 20% tip, but decided my order wasn't valid to be made or delivered, but my money was still good to take. I had great customer service and attention even though I was dining alone I was promptly offered a to go box and a bag for my leftovers I will most definitely be going back again as I drive back and forth from Sonoma County to Marin. I'm sure the other employees at my office would love a pizza from Mountain Mike's they do such a great job and it's very comforting to know that they are expanding all over Sonoma and Marin County , their employees seem very happy and well compensated . I decided to make a salad to go from their little salad bar, and I wish I didn't. It was $5.50, and the bowl was pretty small so you'd only get what you paid for if you dined in at the right hour and had their "All you can eat salad" deal. The spinach was wet and wilted, and the rest of the toppings weren't so great either. Most looked expired, or super fake. Bacon bits aren't suppose to be orange! I understand that you go to Mountain Mike's for pizza, but if you're going to have a salad bar you should at least take care of it. Also, the dressings were all dairy based (including Italian which is usually olive oil based) so people like me who are lactose intolerant or those who want to watch their calories are screwed. Again, I know that people go here for pizza. But since they advertise having a salad bar, and there are people who don't eat pizza (whether it's because of an allergy or to simply eat better) it was very disappointing.
