This place is a breath of fresh air. I wanted to do something different so, I held my son's 6th birthday party at Mountain Mikes and it was the BEST decision ever. My son and 15 of his friends were able to make their own pizza's while in their chef hat & personalized cloth apron which they were able to keep. The pizza was amazing, the bread sticks were scrumptious and the atmosphere did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I even had 1 guest (who did not tell me ahead of time but) was Vegan. As soon as I mentioned it to the owner Tanya, she sprang into action and provided Vegan skin & cheese and my guest did not feel out of place. In my package, received a banner with my son's photo, each child received a chefs hat, child size cloth apron along with personalized pizza, unlimited drinks & a private room. If I can give this place a zero I would. I ordered a SMALL pizza. Bruh a SMALL pepperoni. And I ordered and waited like 20 minutes. So I go back in and very politely ask the wait time. Says another 10 minutes. 40 minutes go by and I go to the front and everyone acts like they are lost. Then they tell me they forgot. I get people make mistakes but bro it's a SMALL pizza and you saw me standing there for a while. If you want to wait a hour for a pizza I would not go here. I should've went to Napoli pizza. I've only been here for the buffet and I'm a big eater, so I think they lose money when I dine there. Buffet includes salad, pizza and drink - $8.99 + tax on weekends and holidays (12pm to 3pm). Weekdays are $7.99. So price wise, very reasonable. Salad bar offers quite the variety so you can toss anything on there to your liking. A pretty good variety of thin crust pizza: pepperoni, cheese, ham & pineapple, combination. Ordered contactless delivery, and apparently that means they don't call you, or knock, or anything. Happened to go outside and found bugs and ants all over the pizza. Called to request a new one and girl said she would let me speak to manager. She forgot to put it on hold while she told the story and said they did nothing wrong and asking for a new one was ridiculous. Finally manager came on and said they'd bring a new one, but we got nothing additional or any discount or anything. So basically i should just be okay with bugs in my food and a three hour total wait time. Food here isn't bad but attitude toward customer service is absolutely unacceptable. I called in to order a pizza and the worker could not process my transaction twice. My bank notified me about one transaction. I notified the manager about the mistake for 5 days and he kept saying he could not find my transaction. I finally called my bank to dispute the transaction. The process can take up to 90 days for the bank to investigate and refund my money. I also placed a prior order at the American Canyon Restaurant and it was a disappointment. I went to pick up my order after an hour wait and when I arrived the manager and cook told me they thought I was joking and never made the pizza. All of the mountain Mike's pizza in Vallejo California including the place on American Canyon have poor customer service and management skills. Build Your Pizza Party, was amazing! I was here for my nephews birthday party and it was one of the best and creative birthday parties I've been to in a long time. The kids loved it! The staff was wonderful and patient with all the kids and there was even a pizza history portion which the kids loved. Such an attention to detail: he got an apron with his name it and a cute chefs hat and his friends got aprons too. The best part is all the kids where able to make their own pizzas. I would definitely book for a birthday party or a girls night out with build your own pizza and sip wine. The pizza was delicious and the new owners were great and accommodating. Although it's good pizza, it was horrible service. I ordered a pizza from home for delivery and it was going to be an HOUR wait minimum. So I decided I'd pick the order up myself. After ordering it, I received a confirmation 5 minutes later from the store that my order would be ready soon. I waited 20 minutes before leaving my home, in American canyon I might add, and I got there and they didn't even start the order. I continued to wait another 25 minutes before getting only a portion of my order because they almost forgot my appetizer. Went here for lunch buffet and my 6 yr old choose salad over pizza since the pizza was super old. Took about 15 min before more pizzas were put out. I was so excited to go to Mountain Mike's because I hadn't been to one since I was a teenager. However, it was a huge disappointment. They just tossed the vegetables ( green peppers, tomatoes) on with out cooking them. They would all just fall off when you picked up the slice and they were cold. I thought I would have a slice of the pepperoni pizza I got for my kids, but it was bad too. I can't say why... just tasted bad. My two kids who love pizza hardly touched it, so there had to be something wrong. I only went because it was a fundraiser night, but I definitely will not be back.
