As someone who orders sea bass whenever I can, I've had it in Pismo Beach, Monterey, and San Francisco, and Baxter's has set a new standard. It was incredibly fresh, melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a perfectly crisp sear that locked in all of its delicate flavor. Every bite was moist, flaky, and cooked to perfection. It was honestly the best sea bass I've ever had. The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Combined with the elegant atmosphere and classic white tablecloths, Baxter's was the perfect place to celebrate. We'll definitely be back!

The crabcake had good flavor but was not crispy on the outside however, the hollandaise sauce was done well. The mimosas were very good. The service was lacking. It took us over an hour to get our food then another 15 minutes after we've eaten to get the check. While, there was a large party in the speakeasy, it appeared that the staff was unorganized and could not handle the volume in the restaurant.
