I had first used Tucker Hill in Feb. Had two techs, Trevor and Gabriel come out and move my water heater and washer outside of my house to my back patio. The price was fair for the job they had to do, getting up in the attic to run water lines. I gave them both huge commendations for a job well done' Well, now we get to today. Yesterday I called to have a kitchen faucet installed. When I did I told them because Gabriel did such a great job, that's the only plumber I wanted to come out. Told this to two people and they said yes ok. Then this morning I get a call from Raul, not Gabriel and he said he's the tech coming out. I asked him to call his supervisor because that isn't what I had requested. The supervisor calls me and explains that Gabriel is running a crew now for bigger jobs. I simply said no one told me that yesterday. This gave me pause in hiring them to come out but in the end I said to send Raul. The faucet I had bought didn't have a part needed so I went and got another one from Home Depot, gone about 30 minutes while he was getting the parts for the drain part. I had all the drain fixtures already but Raul didn't like the kit I had and recommended the abs ones they have, I said sure but I would like to know the charge for those parts, It could be $50, it could be $300, therre is a difference. Anyway he wrote up a quote and I was in shock to be honest at the total. I made a mistake and told him to do the job all the time knowing this was a huge charge. When he got done I asked him to send me an itemized statement with those parts charges. I just got a invoice with a total on it. $896 to install one kitchen faucet. I looked on the internet for installation charges when the customer supplied the faucet and with a simple one hole faucet, Here is what you find when you look it up, Kitchen Faucet Replacement in Phoenix, AZ costs $175-$556 in 2026, with most homeowners paying around $366. That's about 4% below the national average (BLS cost index: 0.96). Licensed plumbers in the Phoenix-Mesa-Chandler metro charge $55-$100/hour. 45 minutes to 1.5 hours per faucet. , So you do the math. And adding insult to injury, I called the office to talk to a supervisor about this and waited around an hour. Then I did like they say if you aren't happy, call the CEO. No answer but left a voicemail and as soon as I hung up, within 30 seconds was a call from the supervisor, pretty coincidental right, lol. I thought I had found a pllumbing company that I could trust to do a simple job for a fair price, I didn't and if money is no object to all of you, good luck and hire them for your plumbing needs. I don't mind paying for a job well done, but I don't like getting raked over the coals in being over charged. read more

Our kitchen sink was not draining correctly and we searched for someone who could come out right away at a fair price. The ladies in the office were fantastic over the phone. They had someone out in 2 hours from Tempe to Scottsdale. The gentleman technician who came out was extremely professional. He thought we might need a Hydro Clean in the pipes. He diagnosed it as a soft blockage. He quoted a price if we did need the Hydro Cleaning. He did not have the Hydro machine on his van and arranged for other technicians to be out at 8am the next morning. 2 great guys in 2 vehicles and a trailer showed up at 8. They tried less expensive methods first and were able to remove a core from the pipe about the size of a Hot Dog. They were here a couple hours, cleaned everything up as best they could, and charged us $800.00 LESS than the original Hydro Cleaning quote. We will call this company first for Plumbing and Air work from now on. read more

Charged $600 for a "free" drain/fill. Tried to say the water heater was leaking when he literally had just drained and replaced the water - there was water all over the ground from that. I cleaned it under the day before and just dust, not wet or mud. Tried to charge $2700 before I paid the $600. This wrong, that wrong. This water heater is new. read more

Wish I could rate it lower... We just bought a home where the sellers had hired Tucker Hill to install new condensing units and coils a, $15,500 job. To be clear: we did not choose this company; we simply inherited their work. Unfortunately, what we inherited was a disaster. Tucker Hill installed new units but left the original furnaces in place... furnaces that were not compatible with the equipment they sold. Any licensed HVAC professional would know this setup could never work. Even if the sellers had requested it, a reputable contractor has a duty of care to refuse an installation they know will fail. Instead, Tucker Hill took the money and installed a system that was doomed from the start. The system failed almost immediately: oil leaks, non-functioning equipment, and finally an overflow that flooded our attic and broke through our ceiling. This wasn't just a "compatibility issue on paper", it was a real-world failure with serious property damage. Another HVAC company later confirmed this by calling the manufacturer directly, who stated the furnaces and new units were never designed to work together. When we called Tucker Hill back out, they denied responsibility and insisted the installation "wasn't the problem." Their only solution? Telling us to spend another $11,000+ on new furnaces to fix the mess they created. That's not customer service, that's exploitation!! And their much-advertised "President's Guarantee"? Worthless. I called the president's direct number listed on the invoice, left a voicemail, and never received a call back. I also spoke with an area service manager who promised they'd "make it right." They never followed up. No accountability, no integrity, no action. Whether it was the sellers or us who signed the check doesn't matter, no professional HVAC company should ever install a $15,500 system they know will not function. Doing so is negligence, plain and simple. Now we, as the new homeowners, are stuck with unusable equipment, property damage, and thousands more in repair costs. All thanks to Tucker Hill. Avoid this company at all costs. They will take your money, install a broken system, and then try to upsell you to fix their own mistake. read more

This felt a lot like I was communicating with a Bot and not so much like having a genuine conversation. I definitely felt frustrated after all the questions there was a sense of wasted energy and time to find out that there was a $89 Diagnostic fee when coming out. I cancelled the service request after. just seems extra when all I needed was quote to get more power for equipment that trip the breakers after being on for 15 minutes. Also I shared the google map link for my company, which has all the information of location and phone number and hours of operations, but was asked again to type out every single request of info. Price was inline but higher than expected as I had a quote from desert plumbing earlier. I think this is a good alternative if Parker and Sons is too high in price. I was truly surprised by the service we received for our water heater issue. I spoke with three different people- Aaron, John, and Pablo-- all of them were super helpful and kind. My only complaint is they did not arrive when they said they would and kept pushing back the arrival time. I selected this company because they had availability same day- while a few other companies couldn't come for a day or two. They were supposed to arrive between 12-2pm. I received a call right before 2 that they would need to reschedule. I advised that I would then look elsewhere. They then advised they would be sending someone who was about an hour away. 12-2 turned into 2-4pm, and they arrived after 4pm. The tech who arrived was fantastic. He provided us with several options and reviewed them with us in detail. He wasn't pushy at all. He answered all our questions and was incredibly patient. I was also pleasantly surprised the work was able to be completed right away and they didn't have to schedule a time to return. The work was also completed quicker than expected. Tucker Hill Air, Plumbing, & Electric was supposed to come out this evening between 4-7 pm. Give me an estimate to replace my water heater which was leaking from the bottom. I wanted to replace it with a tankless water heater. I was texting with AI and tried calling their office after hours. No one was picking up and an AI bot kept telling me how sorry they were, and sorry for the inconvenience. Finally, someone called me back. She said they couldn't find my appointment time or confirmation in their system and that it was common for the AI to mess up the scheduling. She then had to call me back so she could reach out to their boss about sending someone out still tonight, since I waited all afternoon for a no-show, no call. When she called me back finally, they had the audacity to try and upsell an after-hours call! All for a small service call charge of $125 to come out in the next 60 to 90 minutes. What the actual heck? Why would I pay a service fee for people who don't even show up for the original call in the first place?! Absolutely ridiculous! And they were blaming their problem on using an AI bot, what a bunch of BS and a cop out for horrible customer service. I would never use this service based on this experience alone nor would I recommend them. Negative five stars! read more

My experience with THE included both electrical and plumbing. On the electrical side, Tim Shepard came out to give me a quote for a small scope of work involving relocating an outlet and light switch and installing cover plates on the old locations. While I thought the quote was a bit high vs other quotes, I wanted to get it done and he was available to do it at that time. It only took him about an hour. I would consider using THE electrical especially if I had advance notice that Tim was available. The plumbing side was a different story. I asked for a quote to relocate an outdoor spigot which included installing about 12 feet of pipe which I asked to be attached to the stucco and I would paint it when done. It also included replacing the leaking spigot with a ball valve. I probably need to find a plastic surgeon to get some work done because apparently I look stupid for them to even try that. When I said that it seemed quite high then he starts with the conversation about what price did I have in mind. That is an immediate red flag for me. Then he calls his "production guy" and they knock off $200 but that's the best they could do. The fact that they could come down $200 was another data point that the price was too high in the first place. Another red flag. My experience with the electrician (Tim) was 5 stars for quickly getting the job done and doing it right the first time. However, my experience with the plumbing side is rated at 1 star for outrageous pricing. I would approach these guys with caution if at all. read more

The first time I called them I was having issues with my water heater. I had a 12-2 appointment, that they moved to 2-4 , and the technician did not arrive until after 4. They replaced my water heater that day. Less than 1 month later and we are having issues. I called and someone came out- telling me over and over it's because I don't have a water softener and "fixed" the issue, stating the thermostat went bad on the new heater. Wednesday rolls around still having same issue- I called again and was told someone would be out between 2-4- NO CALL AND NO SHOW. I called Aaron and left a message, the person who booked my appointment, and of course no return call. I called the main number and was told someone could come out today from 12 -2. I am beyond disappointed and currently have no hot water with a heater that's barely a month old. Ya'll don't seem to be concerned in the slightest about your crappy service. FYI- still waiting!! BEWARE. As MANY MANY other reviews mention, Tucker Hill will sign you up for their mailing list JUST for receiving an estimate. You will then repeatedly receive junk mail/advertisements from them. Ultimately, I think this is gross business practice. I do not want your junk mail and did not give you any permission to start mailing me things. I would not have even placed a review if they did not end up sending me junk mail. On to the job itself, I was quoted $200-$1000 online on my yelp project inquiry and had them come out to finalize the quote. It turned into $1600! No scope change at all, just scummy practice to get their foot in your door. Keep in mind, my project was basically 'handyman' work and required no actual electrical. I was also extremely detailed in my online project description, so coming to visit was entirely unnecessary. Received quotes from $400-$750 from many other vendors. I obviously ended up not picking Tucker Hill for my project so I can't speak on their work itself, but their general business practices are pretty scummy. It's worth mentioning the materials cost for a homeowner is $1364.00 slightly less for a contractor so $5,636.00 in profit for approx half days work. I had this company add a switch to my electric box, so that in case of an emergency, if the grid goes down, I can plug in a generator to run the well for my horses to get water. That was last Friday. It was not working when they left he said he would come back. The next day never showed up. I got a text this morning apologizing for not coming out and saying that he would be here. He came and left without fixing it. And I received a phone call to call them back. I called back was a animated yes was yelling no. But I sure started yelling after he was so damn rude telling me what I should be feeling and what I shouldn't be feeling. 19 horses zero water, me with pneumonia, having to pull hoses together to get it across 5 acres because they could not do their job. I cannot recommend these people it's still been a half an hour and they're still not back to fix it.
