"Breezy" was so kind explaining all the ice cream flavors to us, since it was our first time there. She scooped us the biggest scoops ever! I had no idea the scoops were so big and asked for 2 scoops , $7 . Good thing I downed 6 dairy relief pills before eating the ice cream. (Which I strongly suggested to the cashier they should sell for us lactose intolerant ice cream lovers! I bet they would sell more ice cream!) They are known for their cheese curds. We bought a bag. It was waxy. They offered a "root beer" milk "Tristan" told us all about. Very friendly workers there. The milk was $3. Very tasty. When you see "Breezy" encourage her to face her fear of flying so she can venture out of Beaver, see the world and return home to her beloved Beaver.

I…read morewas shopping here for groceries this week when an aggressive medium to large size dog ran at me and barked at me, ripped my shopping bag and then tried to bite my leg making contact with its teeth to my snow pants. As a dog lover, I spent more than 30 minutes looking for the owner who turned out to be a young woman working at the general store named Abbey. When I kindly let Abbey know that her dog had really scared me and he should probably stay closer to her, she yelled at me. Abbey was super quick to snap, start yelling at me and she made sure to tell me multiple times that her boss, the owner of the general store would have her "back", I'm not sure why anyone needed to have her back as I was being super kind and easy to talk to. She didn't need to yell either. The dog attack was one thing, but the Abbey attack was far worse. Horrible experience as a customer simply grocery shopping. Save yourself the crazy hassle and shop at Apple Annie's down the street.

So we pulled a U-turn to come back & check it out. I'm so glad we did. What a gem! Pun intended! This cute lil store has everything - crystals, earrings, bracelets, rings, figurines, sculptures, glassware, trinkets, donuts, fun-flavored lattes, goats, a resident kitty named Callie who will make you fall in love with her... The women running the shop were so kind. They fueled us up with coffee (delicious iced lattes - who knew?!) & answered all of our questions about gems, jewelry, ring sizes, Callie the cat, etc. & were so gracious. The prices were so reasonable, too. I purchased two gorgeous sterling silver rings with malachite stones in them for a whopping total of $50. My only regret is not having enough space to buy more trinkets. We were on motorcycles with very limited bag space. Would I come back? ABSOLUTELY.
