Absolutely, hands down, my favorite Thai EVER! I am fortunate Mountain Thai is just around the corner, but I would definitely travel just to eat there. Recently, I have had health issues so my husband has spoiled me several times a week for the past month with Mountain Thai so we don't need to cook! My friends come down from Vail and that's the first place they want to go to eat. Bruce and Sofie the owners are great. From the moment you walk into the restaurant, the aroma of the food cooking takes you away. Bruce always greets you with a smile. Sofie, his wife who does all the cooking, will even bring the meal out to you and double check to make sure that everything to your liking. How could it not be? The other night we got takeout, but got home with the wrong soup. Bruce bent over backwards to make sure that we were taken care of. They truly aim to please and do! This place has gone down hill since opening their brick and mortar. I was a frequent customer during their food truck days and enjoyed it immensely. When they first opened their Broomfield location, we went in and enjoyed it just the same. But as of the last 6 months their quality has drastically gone downhill. The last several times we've ordered takeout has not been good. We just ordered lunch to go today (after taking a month hiatus) and the food was not good. The flavor was sour, as if they weren't cleaning the wok in between meals. The veggie egg roll tasted old. It's so disappointing to spend $50 on lunch only to throw it away because of the poor quality. Whoever is doing the cooking now is not the same it was during food truck days. Crab Cheese Wontons were very delicious! Really enjoyed the filling and the wrapping was perfectly crisp. Basil Eggplant was good, but seemed to use more oregano and than they did basil. Pad Thai was scorched. Probably a chef error and not due to recipe. Happy to give it another go another time. Several Thai restaurants have opened in this area recently, but this is the only one I've been to several times and plan to keep going back to. It's very casual but clean and the service is exceptional. The food is delicious, portions are generous and reasonably priced. We have ordered off of their standard menu and also the daily specials and enjoyed every dish we've tried. Located in a small strip mall and parking has never been a problem. I liked the Pad Thai, but because my parents don't like spice, we ordered it without and it was a little bland. However, I blame that on my folks. Egg rolls and dumplings are also very solid.
