We were near this restaurant and thought we'd try it. Oh my! What a gem. Great food, atmosphere was nice and clean/sleek. We had lunch, a brisket sandwich and a chicken Parmesan with a delicious garden salad with a vignette dressing. Wonderful meal, I will come here again and tell others.

Needed a break from our road trip decides to pop in for lunch. Great service. Small menu but everything sounds amazing. I had the pesto vodka parm sandwich, zero notes amazing. My husband had a burger and he said it was one of the best he has had in a while.

Hubs ordered the Goodfella Pizza, with a couple of deletions, and loved it. I chose the Elana Ruz sandwich and it was glorious! Not exaggerating, that sandwich was such a delicious combination of flavors. We were able to find seats inside while we waited, and then hubs found a table outside right before our food was ready. The weather was delightful so we enjoyed sitting outside. We loved the overall vibe, although inside was a little loud. Their decor everywhere was so much fun! We also appreciated the drink refills as we headed out. As we left, we saw tons of parking in an adjacent lot, which I've noted for future visits. Mountain Goat Market is now definitely a must-do on our next trip to The Caverns.

In a very large open room, I was reminded of a high school cafeteria. We were able to get a table right away. Order at the counter and seat yourself. We took turns ordering because our table was the last one and we didn't want to lose it. The meal took only a few minutes to prepare and we were eating by 12:55 The Reuben looked amazing as did the pizza. I was a little jealous. Especially since I ordered the fiesta burrito and found it to be mostly ... just.... okay. I was disappointed that the gift / souvenir shop was closed.

Had looked forward to returning to Sewanee/Monteagle for a couple years, and one of the first…read morethings I did planning the trip was give a call to High Point for a reservation. Unfortunately it was not the same caliber as our initial visit. Wife liked her dirty martini ok. My sazerac was too sweet and a bit hard to get through. The by the glass wine was a small and not particularly interesting selection. Fried lobster appetizer really had a much too heavy coating that overwhelmed the delicate lobster flavor. Still hard to pass on a fried lobster app though. The steaks didn't have that great grill flavor we remembered. My thin cut ribeye was overcooked as well. Though my side of fries were fabulous and the clear highlight of the evening. helpful hint - ask for no truffle oil; nasty stuff, I still can't understand why if shows up on so many menus. The worst part of the evening, and probably the thing that most made us think no on another return visit, was the party upstairs. It involved a lot of very young, very loud, screaming children. I have no doubt that it was a family gathering, but it struck any pleasure from dining in a cool historical space. Gave my wife a headache, and made us bolt to the safe quiet of our car as quickly as possible after the main course was finished.

Absolutely charming! If you're looking for an upscale celebratory dinner this is it. Cabin like…read morehomey feel with excellent service and food. We started w Nola shrimp - Cajun flavor was great, buttery, goodness. They brought out complimentary bread and shared the specials of the night with us. The roll and butter were warm and delicious. I ordered the halibut entree special - comes w soup or salad and sides. A lot of food and everything was cooked perfectly. The risotto was a little under but the flavor was exceptional. My husband ordered the ribeye, cooked perfectly to his liking and the garlic butter gives it so much flavor, also comes with soup/salad and side. You really get attentive staff, basically a 4 course meal, and a really special evening. We enjoyed ourselves!!
