If you're in the mood for something Mediterranean you won't find a more welcoming or delicious experience than at Moura Bistro. Even late on a busy Saturday night our group was warmly welcomed and seated quickly. The restaurant is compact but comfortable and offers space even for larger groups (there was a large group celebrating in the center of the restaurant while we were there). The ambiance is warm and embraces the Mediterranean theme. The food came out quickly and we could catch glimpses and the tantalizing smells of it being prepared in the open kitchen. I'm happy to report that everything tasted even better than it smelled! Delicious, tender beef Shish kabob was my choice and I enjoyed every last morsel. Portion sizes are significant. The children in our group each ordered the chicken shwarma and in hindsight probably should have split it. We were checked on regularly and water glasses were kept full, much appreciated in the warm weather! A wonderful experience that I hope to repeat again soon! read more

My husband is Lebanese and visited this restaurant a couple of years ago. So on our trip to Naples he had to take me there. Food was very authentic, true to Lebanese cuisine being full of flavor, spices and freshness. Pictured is the kibbeh, grape leaves and hummus. We also had the tabbouli salad, shrimp kabob (char grilled plump and juicy shrimp) with rice and grilled veggies. Any future trip to Naples will also include a visit here!! I stopped by this place on the way to Miami on a whim. The restaurant is really nice and cozy and I'm sure has a better feel at night (I came for lunch). I ordered the shish tawook platter which came with rice and I upgraded the salad to fatoush. The chicken was moist and tender, but it was a bit bland. The rice was good and the lettuce was just decent. $25 for one skewer of chicken, rice, salad and a soda seems very over priced for me. I could understand if the taste was flavorful, but I'd hard pass this place. On top of all that I got charged $2 for a small thing of hot sauce. Ate here on Saturday evening around 6:30. Food was good but was missing some of the more traditional flavors. Had Halloumi, Tabouleh, chicken schwarma and beef kabob. Service was ok a little slow but it was busy. No bar just wine and beer. Overall it was good and would probably return perhaps for lunch. read more

We found this little gem a few days ago, and have already gone back twice in the same week! We were greeted by the genuinely friendly and welcoming owner. The service was excellent and food outstanding. Everything was full of flavor and wonderful spices. We started with the Mezza platter and everything we tried was delicious. My sister got the fatoosh salad with steak and I got the falafel platter. I loved their dressing and the rice, but the falafel was perfect. We returned with my husband and he had the mixed grill (pictured) they tried to tell us too much food but we way over ordered anyways. My co-worker and I stopped in for lunch. The waiter brought over a standard menu and never mentioned their $12.99 lunch specials. Meanwhile, our check for 2 meals and an appetizer was $52, not including tip (and we both had water to drink). The restaurant was clean. It wasn't very busy. There was only one other table when we got there, and two others when we left. The staff was nice and pretty attentive, and the cook came out to ask how everything was. The food was OK, but to be honest, I've had better. That kinda sealed the deal for me because I'm a foodie. (Well, that and the prices.) I'm glad I went because it's a place I've been meaning to try for years, but sadly, I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. read more

My wife and I went to Moura last night after receiving a gift card from friends that raves about it. We made a reservation at 7:45 and were immediately greeted with a warm smile and friendly welcome by Nabil, the owner. I must admit that prior to our visit, I'm not big on that type of cuisine, but this experience not only changed my mind, but also my palette. The blend of flavors, presentation and portions were all fantastic. The staff were all very attentive, as was Nabil and the place was packed. We could tell by ongoing conversations around us, the place was filled with repeat diners and regulars. Many of them seated around us made recommendations since it was our first time there. Nabil took our order and made some suggestions to us also and we listened to his advice. We were not disappointed. We began with a bottle of Bordeaux and the Moura's Mixed Mezza, which is a sampler of many of their house favorites. Excellent. We ordered Chicken Shawarma, Shrimp Platter, with the house lemon rice, garlic potatoes, Fattoush salad all of which was mouth watering and amazing. There is a sign and placard inside the menus asking for your patience during these hard times of being understaffed. It was well written and let people know to please be patient with their staff. Being an owner of a customer service oriented business locally, I was most impressed with how Nabil interacted with his staff in the most kind, polite and respectful way when asking something of them. Eli was also exceptional and is Nabil's nephew. Impressive management style and a good example to other restaurateurs when working in a fast based family owned environment! Food was average and service lacked attentiveness. The Quality of the lamb chops was disappointing.

The baklava is a must!! Don't you dare going in and not ordering the baklava because you will regret it, I promise. Plenty of pistachios, spot on flakiness, and just enough sweetness. We also shared a chicken shawarma and some falafel. The shawarma was fresh and very good, worth mentioning too was the garlic sauce that came with it. The falafel was ok. Our party of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our dinners! From the lamb chop platter to the lamb kabob platter, the lamb was tender, flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The accompanying salad was fresh and the dressing distinctive and refreshing. The hummus was fresh and velvety with a kiss of garlic. The service was welcoming, informative and attentive. The decor has a nice bistro vibe to it, and the lighting was perfect: warm and indirect, but still strong enough to see your food and your fellow diners. This place has yummy food. Legit good. The Falafel sandwich ($9) was delicious and the Moura's Mixed Grill ($23) plate was awesome. Service was good, place was clean and nice. I give it three stars because for $23, the mixed grill plate was tiny. The 2 pieces of meat on the kabobs were a bit silly and you really got more salad and rice than anything else. It is unfortunate because it was one of the better kabobs and kaftas I have had. Kafta can be dry and this was the furthest thing from dry. My Falafel sandwich was fantastic. I forgot to take a picture of it because I inhaled it, LOL. I will definitely return though based on the prices and portion sizes not as often as I want. read more

I was hesitant due to a previous, not so amazing experience, but came to see if things had changed. Boy was I happy to return! The chicken shawarma sandwich was sooooo tasty! The chicken was juicy and the flavors complimented the dish well! The garlic sauce was really flavorful and added to the experience. I also had the falafel platter which was good too! Very filling!!! Moura Bistro for lunch was very disappointing. I ordered the shawarma chicken platter with the salad choice. What I got was a shawarma chicken wrap (sandwich). The salad was plated with the rice and wrap so if you expect to have your salad first, your meal will be cold. I am attaching photos of the menu so you can decide if the food is misrepresented or not. Additionally, when the chicken was removed from the wrap, the portion was minuscule. On the positive side, my wife's veggie platter was not a wrap and the food was average mediterranean fare. If you want a sandwich to go, this restaurant is not a bad choice. read more
