Nice place inside. You have plenty of space between tables. Staff is friendly and working hard to get it done in a timely manner. First timer and I would definitely return! The employee was so friendly and accommodating. I didn't take a picture but I ordered the Cuban club, SO GOOD! It was a large sandwich To my surprise and very filling. It was made on the spot and the wait time was minimal. I also ordered a rocky 123 for hubs & he was very happy. Everything tasted fresh. Mousie's has a giant list of sandwiches named with fun names like "Jane Fonda's Workout" amongst others. I got the "Sluggo" which is hot turkey with onions, Meunster cheese, coleslaw and russion dressing. Not good. I don't know if it was the mushy turkey, over-saturation of Russian dressing or sloppy coleslaw. Or all three. The bread, however, was pleasantly soft. So after taking three bites of my sandwich and promptly disposing of it in the trash, I went for a second round (yes, really) and got a bologna sandwich. The bologna sandwich was good. Piled high with bologna and cheese on a soft roll made my lunch a bit better. With that said, I wouldn't come back, because you can get a good bologna sandwich pretty much anywhere and I'm too scared to try another one of their concoctions. read more

Came here because I saw it on the Phantom Gourmet Facebook page. Glad I came. I had the Pastrami Reuben and it was busting out with meat, Kraft and Swiss cheese. I had to eat it with a knife and fork. The rye bread was toasted crunchy but not hard. Definately song them to my list of frequent eating. Nice atmosphere, friendly courteous service. Been wanting to try since I saw they were on tv. Ordered the Brandon. It barely had 2 slices of roast beef on it. All in small pieces. I put all the meat from both halves into one half. And way too much cream cheese(more than the meat!) and lettuce was brown. My boyfriend ordered the thanksgiving and was happy. read more

Great sandwiches! Definitely a go to if you're looking for an easy bite. Many have recommended this place to me, and most absolutely love it. For some you may have a hard time finding something to eat on the menu. It's a very easy and quick restaurant, therefore the inside is pretty plain. Haven't been here in about 10 years since I moved. Which I use to love but Went today and got a turkey grinder. Nothing special! The rolls use to be delish..but it seems like they use the cheap Supreme Rolls you get at the grocery store and the pickels on the sandwich are just out of a jar nothing special... They use to use the half and half pickels which made a great sandwich.The young girl wasn't even wearing a mask during the pandemic, which was a BIG turnoff. I won't be going back. Mousie's is without question one of those hidden gems that once you go in, you will always return. It is hidden in the Hoxie 4 corners area in the large strip plaza with other eating places. But there is no reason to go into any other place but Mousies. There is no ambiance. There are no fancy table cloths, no fancy silverware....but you will love it. Why?? Simple reason you should love any place you eat at....the FOOD. The food is the best. Do I need to continue this review?? Ok, fine. First check out all the cool names on the menu board....you have to go and see for yourself. If you you dont want any of those choices, they will make anything you want, however you want. My favorite is the Thanksgiving in a pita...yummy. Everything is just delicious and the prices are even better then that. You can go and get an awesome sandwich, soda, and chips for about $7. Trust me, way better then that Subway place. I also cant tell you enough about the absolute wonderful staff. Friendly but busy. They all say "hi" to you and ask how you are, but this is done while flying around the place making sandwiches. The wait is short even at lunch time. If you are around Hoxie 4 corners, stop in and get yourself a sandwich and I know you will be back....I think I need to go for a ride now, getting hungry writing this. read more

This rating is solely based on the thanksgiving sandwich. Given, it was ordered during a busy rush, id hope It was at least edible . it was not. When I unwrapped it 5 minutes after receiving it, it was a ball of gooey mayo soaked bread and hardened melted cheese. I could barely find any turkey on it. I've heard all kinds of amazing things about this place, and my coworkers, all locals, rave about it. I was.... unimpressed. I will grant that the sandwich was large. However, it was bland - white bread, concession-stand-grade condiments, poor quality meat. Also, they'd put so much... something, I don't know - water? on the sandwich that the bread squooshed when poked. I had to eat a sandwich with a knife and fork, and then the squashy, wet thing sat in my stomach like a lump of lead. There are far better sandwich places in easy driving distance, with equal local chops - may I suggest Sandwich Junction? Or, failing that, Subway? read more

I am going to be the stick in the mud here and give a poor review. I know everyone seems to love this place, and perhaps they were just having a bad day... but here goes: My husband and I were starved and just happened to be driving by. We stopped and it was a coin toss between Mousie's and Spikes. We went to Mousie's, and regretted it. I had the Rocky 1,2,3. To this day, I still do not know for sure what I ate. I know what the menu said was on the sandwich, but what I saw on the bread did not look like those ingredients... My husband's was equally as wacky. His had hot roast beef, cream cheese, and onions. When I read it on the menu I thought - hmm cream cheese, ok. I think there was an entire package of cream cheese on there. No joke. I'll keep it simple for you. On the way home, my husband had to stop and get me pepto and ginger ale because I thought I was going to be sick. Never again. read more

Today was my first visit to Mousies and I wasn't disappointed, I had a Reuben and it was one of the best I've ever had, so full of corn beef. My wife had the beefy boy it was also loaded and very filling. I would definitely recommend Mousies and certainly order from them again. read more

Wow. This place is seriously a hidden gem. I never would've gone in there if it weren't for a recommendation from my boyfriend, who'd randomly tried it...but holy cow. Their sandwiches and wraps are INCREDIBLE. And I haven't stopped craving them since I started going. I think I'm starting to drool right now, as I write this review. It might not look like much from the outside, and you might never have noticed it before while driving by, but if you get the chance, GO INSIDE and TRY SOMETHING. You will never want a sandwich from anywhere else in the world after trying Mousie's. I highly recommend...pretty much everything! We've tried a couple different things from them so far, and everything has been outstanding. I can't even think of anything else to say besides that it's incredible and I'm so glad that I found this place. What a hidden gem this place is. I tend to forget about it until I am right in the area. To be honest most of the time we go with the intent of hitting up Spikes next door and then choose the healthier options at Mousies. A full deli along with a bunch of creatively named sandwiches. They also have amazing pickles which come with the sandwich but I always order and extra. They take cards and the service is quick and consistent. They are not open late so this is a lunch only mostly. Fair prices and they normally have some good specials too for example when we went you got a free hot dog with each sandwich now while this might not be necessary free is for me so I am all for Mousies. read more

Very small town deli style sandwich shop. The walls are cluttered with knick-knacks and the seating is more-or-less wide open. The staff was very friendly and they definitely knew what they were doing. The sandwich itself was relatively sub-par. The sandwich was incredibly overstuffed, which wouldnt be a problem under normal circumstances, but the bread they used wasnt toasted and didnt stand up to the onslaught of toppings. About one quarter into the sandwich it started to break apart and fall out, and just became a real mess. Dont eat there in business attire. read more
