Ricotti's has been a Bristol staple for as long as I can remember. I've been coming here for 20 years and it's one of those places that just feels like home. Over the last few years I haven't visited as often due to a gluten intolerance, which has been tough when you have a true go-to sandwich spot. I was so excited to learn they now offer gluten free wraps. I've had three over the past few months and each one has been delicious. Fresh, flavorful and just as satisfying as I remember. It honestly means so much to be able to enjoy my old standby again without worrying about it. I was also just told I can order my favorite as a bowl, which I'll definitely be trying next time. They are always moving and grooving behind the counter, but still manage to be polite and friendly every single time. It's clear they take pride in what they do. I haven't had a Riccotti's sandwich in years, until recently and oh it was as delicious as I remembered. Italian Grinder, delicious. And the staff are friendly and attentive. The girl at the counter (sorry, didn't get her name, has a baby on the way ) was so friendly, taking orders and cleaning tables and cheerful the entire time even carrying a baby. Thank you. I went today to get two scoops of tuna. Which I have done numerous times before. The owner had always charged me for one meatball each. He was not there today and the other manager - who rides a scooter - was behind the counter said oh no that's not what we charge. So he charged me relatively three dollars a scoop and I mentioned again that they always charge me for a meatball. And he said that's not what I charge. Little arrogant there. In 2023 I voted Riccotti's as the best Italian grinder in Rhode Island. I have been here several times since then, but not in a few months. I am not exactly sure what has changed, but not only is the menu different, having removed their most delicious onion rings, but the quality of the sandwiches have apparently declined as well. What was once the most delicious Italian, now I wouldn't even want to order again. I am not even sure how you could make one taste this bland. My wife said the same thing about her turkey sandwich. So whatever you did Riccotti's, undo it please! read more

I came here to use my RI Food Fights coupon and they had 3 choices only to pick from. I grabbed their Turkey Special and it was pretty good. The turkey was tender, stuffed well and the bites with the cranberry sauce were the best. Nice bread too. They said it came with bacon but I tasted it in only two bites. Called for pickup order at about 11:00 am Memorial Day 2025. Asked for two Chicken Parmigiana subs? Man who answered said he had to check because they may be out of chicken nuggets!? Turns out they had enough for one more large sub only. Not sure what is going on here with food ordering, in consideration of the Holiday? Delicious food, great array of drinks and chips. I get the Rueben from this place every time I pass through the area, which is frequently. If you can't decide on what to get, get the Rueben. Normally the kinda cramped atmosphere would bring it down to four, but this places is designed to be a quick order, pick up and leave kind of stop, which it does really well. read more
