One of my guilty pleasures is General Tso's and lately, I've noticed many of my other go-to eateries make trashy versions of it. But not Good Taste Noodle House. Whenever we come here, I order the General, my wife orders one of their Salt & Pepper dishes (today, it was prawns) and we agree on a third dish that's either new to us or something we don't often get. I know it wasn't vinegar, but it did not taste good like Kung pow. The rice I had was a bit dry and kept falling off my fork. The server was not present 90% of my visit and only asked me one time if I needed a refill of water. The place was actually dirty. Especially the bathroom, which was ridiculous. I won't be back.

I think they would be great for serving as Peking Duck. The seasonings on the other hand is quite uneven. In area with thick meat, it is quite blend, but some parts close to the bones are very salty. They offered some sweet-and-sour sauce to go with the duck. But that's not the traditional apricot dipping sauce. So it is kind of weird. The barbecue pork on the other hand is quite terrible. The pork has a little unpleasant flavor in it. It's not spoiled meat. It's something from the pork itself.
