When no one arrived and I received no communication, I called the company around 12:00 PM for an update. After waiting for a callback, I finally heard from someone around 12:20 PM, who informed me the crew was running behind and would now arrive between 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM. At 2:30 PM, I received another call saying they would arrive within half an hour. Then, at 3:00 PM, I was called again and asked if I could simply reschedule my move for the following day. That was not an option, and I declined. A replacement truck finally arrived around 3:45 PM. To make matters worse, I was originally quoted and scheduled for three movers, but only two arrived. My original estimate was 3.5 hours, and that estimate was based on moving more furniture than I ultimately needed moved. Despite having less to move, I was immediately told the job would take longer. The movers were also completely unprepared to move my refrigerator, washer, and dryer. They struggled throughout the move, damaged one of our doors, and appeared disorganized. One mover seemed very inexperienced, while the other appeared frustrated and disengaged the entire time. As I am writing this, it is 6:12 PM, and we are still not completely moved out of our old place. Because of your company's delays, poor planning, and lack of preparation, I am now being forced to pay for additional moving time that I should not be responsible for. To make matters even worse, when I attempted to contact the company using the phone number I was provided, no one answered and the voicemail box was full. I also sent a text message that was marked as read, but no one responded. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and stressful. I booked this move expecting a professional, organized service. Instead, I experienced hours of delays, poor communication, inadequate staffing, damaged property, and a level of unpreparedness that has directly increased both my moving costs and my stress. I expect to be contacted promptly regarding this matter and believe I should be fairly compensated for the unnecessary delays, the additional charges caused by your company's failures, and the damage to my property.

It's gotten to the point where I feel like a fraud. You know when people ask how you've been and you reply with the classic flavorless bullshit response, "Just out here living the dream"? I can't even do that anymore because I feel bad about lying.. about lying. JK I don't feel bad. Anyway, I decided this wasn't the life I wanted to live. I wanted my dreams back because I genuinely missed setting unrealistic goals in my sleep. Side note - one of my dreams almost came true until I tore my ACL trying to moonwalk at Walmart. Long story short, I invested in a CPAP machine which was expensive AF and left me with a dry mouth/throat when I woke up. I was certain that I had exhausted all options no pun intended. It may seem like an unorthodox method to some, but I decided to take a leap of faith. I got lit with the intention to black out. It worked. I had a tidal wave of bullshit ass dreams but I still didn't feel satisfied. It was like a preview to a really exciting movie that wasn't going to come out. It was like Dre's Detox being talked about for 20 years and still not dropping. Sorry about that. I had to get that out. After 15 minutes of self-reflection, hateration and holleration, I decided to call my good friend Mike. I wanted to inquire about the current tippin status and see if it was "still". I felt he was the perfect person to call. I've seen his transformation from back then when hoes didn't want him to present day where the hoes are all on him. By the end of the call, I acquired absolutely zero useful information. I decided to move on and that's when it hit me. There's been a lot of talk on the streets, the internet and even in my daily astrology subscription that I can't figure out how to cancel. At first I thought it was going to be one of those Tony Robbins positivity things where he sells you an opportunity to listen to how to solve your problems. Did Mr Robbins solve my problems? NOPE! Did Less Stress Moving calm em? YUP! Was I more stressed from the nonsense? NOPE! Less Stress Moving are now my best friends? YUP! Disrespectful with the price? NOPE! On point like a decimal, just right? YUP! Did I stay with my wife? NOPE! Now I live a better life? YUP! Everybody got choices and gosh darn it, I'm going to choose Less Stress Moving every time. You know how they say, "that's how the cookie crumbles"? I wondered for years what hell happened to the cookie that slipped out of my hands that one lonely night. After they moved my fat boy chair, there it was. Not only did the cookie crumble in my favor by allowing me to find amazing service, I literally found my cookie. So that was tight, similar to my pants when I button them up all the way. Speaking of tight, my budget was also in a similar condition. Working hard and doing what you're being paid to do is one thing, but the meticulous attention to detail as if they're playing a game of Tetris with their life on the line was pretty neat. Anyway, back to my budget being tight. I tried to pull a fast one when I was going over pricing with Mr. Robert by saying that his cousin referred me. Apparently, he doesn't have any cousins named Seymour. He informed me that it didn't matter because anybody whose business he earns isn't just a name on an invoice. It's a client that he intends to have for life and on top of that, treats as family. Professionalism is cool but can also be dry at times. It's the experience provided by his team overall that he counts on to leave the lasting impression.
