I have used Mowers Inc quite a bit in the last 10 years. Last year I took them my once used power washer and they charged me $75.00 to get it running. Took it home used it once and let it sit 5 months till this year. Pulled it out and no start. Took it back and they now charge me $ 92.00 with terrible customer service on top of that. Mind you this is a Briggs and Stratton gas engine. I have never in my 54 years on this earth heard a tech tell me I need to start this thing every month. In the past they have serviced all my lawn equipment which usually consisted of Maintenance but NO MORE !!! read more

I believe that Mowers is an all around good facility. I am a Service Tech and work on a local ranch servicing farm equipment, from small engines to the very large tractors. My point is I come to mowers to buy my parts. They usually have what I need and rarely have to order what I need. I have not used their Service Department. so I will only briefly comment on what I have heard. I do think they could vastly improve the Service Department. I believe that Mowers is probably the only Outdoor Power Equipment parts house that could be a stand alone business. No sales and service, just parts. Most people think just because it is a Lawnmower or Weedeater/Trimmer, Saw or Blower it should be cheap or not cost anything to fix. These folks cant work for nothing. Just my opinion. read more

I went to Mowers Inc. on South Shaver in Pasadena, TX, to purchase a new Briggs and Stratton pulley for my lawn mower. I took the broken part with the model and serial numbers as well. I was sold the wrong part and very expensive too. Also the sold me the wrong type screws. The cost was almost $ 50.00 dollars. My mower still does not work. I am going to try to get my money back. This place used to be very professional, but I did not know that it was sold a few years ago to a dishonest ownership and staff. Please beware. read more
