I've been attending a conference at Moscone Center and I've quickly come to love eating at Mo'z. Firstly Mo himself owns it and works the register, he is really friendly and has a genuinely friendly vibe. The coffee comes out right away and my veggie breakfast burrito is great! The place is clean and is rich with SF style. There are plenty of seats and tables, just right to find somewhere to sit. We were in SF for the weekend and discovered this amazing breakfast place within walking distance of the hotel We ended up going there two days in a row, it was that good. Everything was absolutely delicious. I got the Eggs Florentine with side of fruit the first day, then the Croissant Sandwich the second day. Ingredients are fresh, the preparation is flawless. This is a simple cafe. You can tell the staff work hard. It is in a bit of a rougher area but I did not feel unsafe walking to it from my nearby hotel. I got a bagel with strawberry jam and smoothie for under $12 to go. read more

Amazing breakfast place in the Union Square area. You order first and then find a seat. The service was amazing and you could tell Mo'z staff was proud of the food they were serving. Portions are great. You can definitely share a savory and a sweet dish. We had the crab Benedict's and the lemon crepes and they were both divine. I am a whipped cream snob, Mo'z definitely makes their whipped cream in house. Coffee was smooth and delicious as well. Highly recommend it. We went on a week day and it was not super busy. I have no idea why this place has good reviews. We ordered two pancake combos and 2 coffees, with a 15% tip, we spent $65. For that price, I'd have expected at least basic but tasty food. Instead, everything was flavorless and nothing was warmer than room temperature. Literally every other bite of scrambled egg contained large bits of shell. The bacon was thin and rubbery. The pancakes had the taste and texture of reheated frozen pancakes. The only thing that wasn't disappointing was the coffee. Definitely looks better than it tastes. Ohhh what a lovely find!! I met a friend at Mo'z Cafe a few weeks ago and had such a memorable experience that I felt I needed to post about it. Mo is so terrific!! It was pretty busy already by 8am and a line of people waiting to put their orders in. What was so memorable is the smile and greeting he gave every person. Wow. I love that! I ordered a cappuccino and he made it right away. It was hot and had the foam on top and all. Perfect! I had nearly had most of my cappuccino when unbeknownst to me, Mo approached my table and gave me a second one. He wasn't pleased with the first one he gave me so he made another one when the lines died down a bit... I was speechless. If you're in the area, I highly recommend Mo'z Cafe! I found this place on Yelp. Right as we walked in this place just smelled amazing. Cozy atmosphere with the San Francisco touch. The menu looks spectacular, had a little bit of everything. The portions were out of this world. Everything you get is definitely good enough to share. Fresh ingredients, and the presentation was on spot. Most of all I had the opportunity to meet the owner, which was the gentleman that took our order. You could tell he enjoys what he does and he is such a people person. A staycation in The City for a wknd getaway and after the first night, got ready in the early morning for the day and walked to Mo'z. Didn't know what they served but looking at the menu we realized we found a spot for breakfast/lunch! I've been craving Corned Beef Hash for the past few weekends and guess what, THEY HAD CORNED BEEF HASH!! The person who took our order over the counter was very welcoming and pleasant to speak with. A few minutes later he served our breakfast - Basic Breakfast that has Eggs, Hash Browns, Toast, and Bacon and the Corned Beef Hash that has poached eggs.
