This was a perfect breakfast stop before exploring the rest of San Francisco! The food was all so delicious, service was impeccable, and a smaller quiet restaurant. He even treated us to a complimentary sweet croissant for Father's Day. And you get a 10% discount if you pay with cash :)

We were in SF for the weekend and discovered this amazing breakfast place within walking distance of the hotel We ended up going there two days in a row, it was that good. Everything was absolutely delicious. I got the Eggs Florentine with side of fruit the first day, then the Croissant Sandwich the second day. Ingredients are fresh, the preparation is flawless. The fruit cup was made with care with nicely cut fruit and a wide variety included. The gentleman taking our orders and chatting I can only assume is Mo. He has outstanding customer service and we really enjoyed talking to him.

Arrived and was able to get a seat very easily. The menu is great with a lot of choices. Food came out on time and correct. Everything was delicious. My little one LOVED the pancakes. No parking that we saw, but we were walking from our hotel.

I have no idea why this place has good reviews. We ordered two pancake combos and 2 coffees, with a 15% tip, we spent $65. For that price, I'd have expected at least basic but tasty food. Instead, everything was flavorless and nothing was warmer than room temperature. Literally every other bite of scrambled egg contained large bits of shell. The bacon was thin and rubbery. The pancakes had the taste and texture of reheated frozen pancakes. The only thing that wasn't disappointing was the coffee. Definitely looks better than it tastes. I would never come back.

Charging my 3ds systems! Thanks Mo'z

Absolutely stellar customer service. I was greeted by an empthatic host that made me feel like a king. Isn't that what customer service about? Anyway the food is it good? Absolutely again! I had an everything bagel with cream cheese, coffee cake and coffee. The ambiance is super chill. I love a relaxed atmosfere. This is my first San Francisco review and For a quick easy place to go to while attending a tech convention this is hands down the best option! Check it out and tell them not to have a good day but to have a great day! Thanks for reading!

Wow!!! What a place. Top 5 breakfast of my life. I had the Crab Cake Benedict. Melt if your mouth goodness. Fresh food, popping flavor! Amazing service. Quiet morning atmosphere.

    Half eaten!!! Could have shared

Great Find for Breakfast. Had the lox and bagel, generous with the lox for $19. Breakfast burrito was very flavorful, generous portion, delicious lattes. Cash discount. Felt appreciated as a customer. Cashier I assume was Mo. very welcoming. May go back for lunch!

    Tucked away, easy to find

A classic place in the heart of San Francisco to enjoy comfort breakfast food! Ambiance and service complemented the food.

I came in here fairly early on a Sunday morning for a relaxing cup of coffee and a bite to eat. This early there weren't a lot of people here, so I could linger and enjoy my cup of coffee (very good) and a fantastic pistachio croissant and get just a little work done. The service was very friendly, nice ambiance, good coffee and pastries. Just what I was looking for.

I found this place on Yelp. Right as we walked in this place just smelled amazing. Cozy atmosphere with the San Francisco touch. The menu looks spectacular, had a little bit of everything. The portions were out of this world. Everything you get is definitely good enough to share. Fresh ingredients, and the presentation was on spot. Most of all I had the opportunity to meet the owner, which was the gentleman that took our order. You could tell he enjoys what he does and he is such a people person. We had a party of eight, everything came out to perfection. Café lattes was so tasty. I ordered corn, beef, hash, best I've had in years. Can't wait to come back! Keep up the good work and I'll be back.

Nice friendly service. Hearty breakfast options, coffees, and much to choose from for lunch, salads, sandwiches, even bagels, crepes and smoothies. Cozy atmosphere just off Market Street. A great find!

    Delicious, hot, strong, not bitter.
    Wendy M.

YES! Stop here for coffee!! Strong without being bitter! Lovely small diner atmosphere, friendly employees (and customers), fresh squeezed OJ, did I mention the coffee? My son had the buttermilk pancakes(*****) and I had grilled cheeses on sourdough with fruit. Fruit! Strawberries, grapes, apple slices and the std melon and cantaloupe. The grilled cheese was ideal. I also got a side of blueberry coffee cake to go with my coffee. The coffee is very good.

Moz is a great place to eat in downtown SF. If you're doing an event at Moscone or just walking around in SF. Great Food! Great Service! Super Nice Owner! Support Small Businesses! Get your breakfast and lunch here! Great Ambiance and Music Playlist!

Food we ordered: - Tom yum omelette w/ shrimp - Thai tea French toast - Drunken noodles w/ chicken -- the noodles they used are not the typical noodles I'm used to but it was filled with flavor with a kick of spice. - Tom yum noodle soup w/ crispy chicken -- my favorite dish!! The crispy chicken was recommended by the server and it truly did not disappoint. The chicken was crisp and juicy and the noodles were cooked perfectly. For drinks we got the Thai iced tea, butterfly lychee fizz, and the coconut milk latte. I got the Thai ice tea less sweet and it was perfect for me ( I usually don't like it super sweet). The butterfly lychee fizz was very refreshing (could be less sweet for me) and the coffee was also very good! In my opinion Lapisara ranks in the middle due to the other excellent options available. Seated immediately--had a reso but on a Wednesday morning not really necessary. It took a long time for the single employee to get to us but we weren't in a hurry. Cappuccino was very good in a cute "bear mug" and very reasonably priced. We shared a pacific omlet--not much crab, lots of shrimp, and nice swiss cheese/scallions but tasted kind of fishy--potatoes were only avg. Son said huevos rancheros were average. Price point good for SF and portions adequate to share. Location convenient so we will try dinner there tonight before a comedy show nearby. Dinner-5++ stars; 4 of us Had dinner last night-6pm-reso but not needed. only one other group dining. Single Waitress was great-we let her know we needed to leave in about an hour for a show and she timed everything perfectly--we even had time for dessert. we ordered so many items that she brought over an extra table--we shared everything family style. Most Yelp reviews only mention brunch but the dinner was awesome--service; food: taste/quality, presentation, portions, prices we phenomenally low for SF ($200 with a bottle of wine for 4 people). We started with the garlic butter clams-small but tasty. Tuna tartar was excellent quality and enough to share. Samosas were more like empanadas--very good with peanut sauce so good it rivaled my own home made. We continued our culinary adventure with crab fried rice-delicious, a large portion and my son who lives in SF and has tried dozens of crab fried rice ranked it in the top tier. The pacific catch rice noodles with crab was also excellent-big portion, lots of crab, tasty. Final entree was their specialty-Mussaman Curry. Wow, tender meat/potatoe "stew" with a very unique flavor from the star anise/cinnamon and peanut--to die for. Creme Brulee was very good with lots of fresh fruit accompaniment My only complaint was a very limited wine selection. Lapisaia will become one of our regular spots for dinner!!!

I wouldn't call it spicy at all. The omelette felt small for the price and there wasn't much filling inside. It came with a side of potatoes that were really good. They had a nice crisp on the outside and were soft on the inside. I also got a regular coffee, and they do unlimited refills. The place was busy for brunch, and I liked the bear theme. Some of the coffees came in bear-shaped glasses, and some of the lattes had a decorative bear made out of ice.

Sitting outside on that peaceful corner watching the neighborhood wake up is a charming experience. Only downside of dining al fresco: a fly landed on my sausage. But credit to the staff - the waiter noticed and brought out a fresh plate without me even having to ask. That kind of attentive service goes a long way. The food lives up to the hype.
