The food here was generously portioned and the family owned restaurant proved friendly service. The food was only OK... if you're really hungry and you want a choice in sliced of pizza and you want it fast, come here, that's what you'll get! The slices are huge and have lots of toppings. I want a big fan of the crust, but the pie choices were generous. They have an all day/every day daily special...2 slices and a 20 Oz. drink for $10... one slice filled me up, so that was another lunch. We also ordered garlic parmesan wings and they were, again, only OK. They were cooked thoroughly, however not crispy, almost as if they had been in an oven and not a fryer... disappointing but edible. The sauce was glistening on them and at first looked like salad dressing, it did stink in and had nice flavor when we left it sit for a few minutes. Tried their pizza b/c a reviewer on another site had given it such a good review. Won't return. The person behind the counter barely acknowledged me or our order. From numerous pizzas sitting out and available for slices, we chose one veggie and one spicy jamaican jerk. The slices were nicely heated. the jerk was really spicy, the veggie didn't have many veggies on it; if you concentrated, you could taste them. The plastic forks available were so flimsy they were useless. The knife was better, but what good's a knife without a fork? read more

MO'Z should call themselves MEH'Z. The service was good, the restaurant was clean but the pizza was fast food quality pizza like Sbarros or some other Mall Food Court Pizza. It was big but bland. Mo'z is a recent arrival, taking the place of a long-standing and revered pizza and wings establishment that went out of business. I came in hopeful. And I was most satisfied that Mo'z will continue the tradition of excellence that has been at this location for several years, now under new ownership and a new name. And it has an expanded menu from its predecessor. To begin with, and most importantly, this place has proven that it is reliable when it comes to takeout orders. Your food will be ready when they promise. You will not miss kickoff on the day of the big game. The wings are nice and large, and if you ask for them extra crispy, they will accommodate you. They do pizza either in the western New York somewhat doughy style which is beautifully flavored and generously sauced, or they will do a New York style pizza for the asking. The pizza and wings are excellent. Mo is a pleasant young gentleman who seems committed to excellence. I can't recall the last time I gave a first review of an establishment five stars, but to give anything less would be an injustice. We will be back! read more

Decided to try this place and was very dissapointed. Ordered 2 XL pizzas 3 orders of fries and garlic fingerz. I ordered 1 pizza regular crust the second one thick crust and it was thinner that the regular crust. Cheese was poor quality very cheap. Fries were the only good part of the order. Garlic fingerz were over cooked pizza dough with no seasoning no dipping sauce nothing. 100.00 wasted on sub par food. Never again will i entertain them read more

We were so excited for this to finally open since it's just a great location from our home. Everyone was nice and the inside was clean. The pizza was like gas station pizza. The crust was horrible. It had weird holes in it like it was frozen, which was a guess. I hope they make major adjustments to the pizza so we can be regular customers. We definitely will not be going back. read more

The service was excellent; but I think I hit it at an off hour. The establishment is right next to the University campus and takes the place of a prior pizza establishment that closed several months ago. Since we liked the previous owner's pizza (Zettis) so much, we decided to try Mo'z. It's not at all like Zettis. The pizza was not bad; but also not what we were expecting. The prior establishment served very fresh NYC style pizza (as well as freshly baked bread, calzones, pasta, etc) and Mo'z pizza is very much like a dominoes style pizza. The price is on the high side for the small portions received; and doesn't fit into any traditional Buffalo standard for pizza. Unfortunately we won't be going back. Hopefully the college kids will keep the place in business. read more

Finally got a chance to stop here. I will admit, my household was a fan of the previous business, so I wasn't sure what to expect here. I do want to say: don't come here expecting the old business... the pizza, although they have a variety of pizza styles on display, their flavor is completely unique! I can't think of any place to compare it to. It is not a sweet sauce if that helps. The interior layout is very similar but it is WAY nicer! It was a cleaner feel with awesome art work on the wall! Loved it! I didn't use the bathroom facilities, but my roommate went on a different occasion and said those are much nicer as well. My favorite change was the customer service!! Ssoooooooo much friendlier! I came in and both gentleman were friendly and the one who served me went over all of the pizza options without me having to look and guess or ask and he also had something called pinwheels which he described to me and was good. I shared my food with my teenager and we both agreed the one with the toppings (I can't recall the name but it had fries, onion rings, and mac and cheese bites on it) was the better of the two due to the Mac and cheese bites especially .. this is compared to the other slice which was plain cheese. No baked dishes I believe like Zettis , well X-Large pizza was 22$ for specialty pizza so figured wow that's pretty reasonable for specialty ,, well I got what I paid for ,don't get me wrong it was good. But tasted more like a Tony's buffet pizza or Dominos , just didn't have that wow factor , but let u try it out , see what u think ,, places was spotless ,clean and workers dressed nice , very pleasant . I will say the restaurant cleanliness and atmosphere was nice and the employees friendly, the pizza I ordered is another story though. First off You can tell it's a pre-made like frozen type pizza crust, not good at all. I got the BBQ chicken Slice, it was way over cooked. The cheese was so over cooked it was like a very spotty thin crusty layer of cheese. The pizza basically tasted like it had no cheese, there was two really small pieces of chicken on the slice and that was also way over cooked. Also the BBQ sauce they used was so sickeningly sweet it was terrible. I didn't try anything else in the restaurant but all the pizzas on the counter were over cooked and looked like they had been sitting there for hours. Nothing like the previous pizza shop's pizza, like night and day. I will not be returning to Mo'z. read more

Stopped in near closing time and got great service from Travis who also helped with appetizer menu. We tried to order a couple apps and they were out of one of them and they gave us jalapeño poppers that were very good. Thicker cream cheese filling with a little heat. We got a meat pizza it was also good fresh made 6.9 with good crust. We ate in and it was closing time they didn't rush us to get out and told us to take our time and eat. Tried this pizza place for the first time and although I like NY style slab pizza the best, this pizza was very good. Only ordered a medium with some medium wings and I thought they were very good. I have been watching this location since it opened and it looks like traffic is light, hopefully others will embrace this place and it sticks around. Called ahead and it was ready on time.
