    Chicken souvlaki pita
    Linda M.

We stopped in here for lunch today. The place is really hidden, tucked away in the corner of the Plaza. Im.glad we found it! We ordered pita wraps. I got the chicken souvlaki, and my husband ordered the falafel. We both upped them to the larger mega wraps. Boy, oh boy, were they everywhere huge! I actually started eating mine with a fork as the ingredients were overflowing from the pita. Then, I was pleasantly surprised at how much chicken was in my pita. There was actually almost more chicken than lettuce or feta cheese. Plus, it was tender & seasoned nicely. We both ended up with half fir tomorrow's lunch. The service was good and friendly. We'll definitely need to get back here for those greek fries that actually won as Best Overall Item at the Taste of Buffalo. Congrats on that! 2024-21

    Falafel Pita Wrap

Very good food. I ordered a Falafel Pita Wrap that had pleanty of Falafel in it. They sliced open and butterflied the Pita Bread to have enough to wrap around all the great ingredients. They then either pressed in a Panini Maker. To give it those nice toasty marks. I will definitely be going back.

~ She's got it. Yeah, baby, she's got it. ~ If by it you mean what it takes to make two ladies happy on a plan B dinner date that is. We'd had a yen for greek food, but with our original choice closed for the night, I'd found this place as a suitable backup plan. If only finding the actual location had been easier. I'm blaming this on the GPS and Monday night traffic. It is a bit hidden in the corner of a restaurant filled plaza. The sign, unlike the interior doesn't catch your attention. Once you step inside your world lights up with orange walls and turquoise tables and a giant chalk wall that was too full to make our mark on. Family Feud highlight clips play on the tv as background noise. There's a menu on the wall, along with a printed version on the counter for us nearsighted folk. Also for us inquisitive folk who like to point at what they are asking about while a helpful woman take their orders. She was also quick and compliant to separate our bills and take our cash. It seemed that she was also doing the kitchen work. The place wasn't all too busy (only saw one doordasher come to grab takeout) so it seemed like a small operation. I was able to peek into the no-door kitchen to see her assembling the dishes into takeout containers, watching as steam filled the room. She asked if we were staying. You can, despite seeming more like a to go place, so she brought over buckets of napkins and forks before retreating to the kitchen. We took what we needed and left the rest on the counter to make elbow room. There were no knives, as my friend noticed, not that they were necessary with everything in mouth sized bites already. I personally got the greek salad for $10. The temptation was high to add falafel (she said it was deep fried), but instead I opted to add on a pita for an additional dollar. It's eight inches of soft, warm bread cut into triangles. It pairs well with the white garlic sauce that she agreed to put on the side for me. I loved the sauce and honestly want to buy it for home, as the viscosity was great, clinging to the fork without clumping on. I'm also a sucker for garlic, unlike the greek dressing I was also given. I'm not big on oil based things, and felt slightly bad for not using mine as she fills the containers to the brim. There was ample lettuce chopped to fill the eight inch container, with chunks of fresh tomato and slivers of onion. There was a healthy dose of feta cheese that did not overpower everything, yet assured me that I wasn't getting ripped off. I did only get three black olives and two small pepperoncini, but considering what I got, I'm not complaining. My friend got the beef venus bowl. They make half a salad and half a bowl of rice, combining them into one tasty looking dish. The white rice was fluffy, tucked under the meat to absorb the flavor. Her bowl was preassembled with less pita than mine. She seemed thrilled, glad to find a greek place that does things right. It's a thing with her, so this accolade should not be taken lightly. She saved half for the next day's lunch as they feed you plenty. So thank you Venus, for feeding me my desire.

Ordered the Gyro platter for a takeout dinner and it was delicious. I had the option of fries or rice and I went with the rice option. Would return to try others things in the future.

Shish tawook over rice, with home made hot sauce!

Did you know that they have home made hot sauce? Because I've been going to the original location since it opened, and today, at this location, is the first I'm hearing of this! It's so freaking good! Anyway, shish tawook platter with hot sauce. It was awesome! It's just as delicious as the original location, but with home made hot sauce. Did I mention the hot sauce?! But yeah, clean, nice environment, staff was super friendly and nice, food was excellent and I'll be back next time I'm up this way. Probably for the hot sauce, haha!

Lots of little places offering what Starbucks offers (premade offerings). The GPS came up with Mythos. It wasn't far from where we were. We parked on the street behind the restaurant before noticing the blue sign indicating they had a lot behind the building. No matter. Just be aware. You walk in and immediately smell breakfast cooking. We were seated at a booth and ordered a couple cups of coffee. The menu is pretty extensive. She got eggs benedict with toast and hashbrowns. I ordered the steak and eggs breakfast special. It's Thursday morning so not a people in the restaurant. The food is out pretty quick. Coffee gets refilled without having to ask. Eggs are done right, steak is cooked medium, potatoes are a little crispy. Her eggs benedict came out just right, potatoes the same as mine. Plenty of food to fuel up in the morning. We ate and talked for a while. Waitress checked in regular to see if we needed anything. Food is gone, coffee is getting finished. Definitely a breakfast (and lunch) place to check out. Fast service , reasonable prices, quality food. No complaints.

I placed a DoorDash pickup order scheduled for after 5:00 PM because I was at work and wanted fresh food for my mom's birthday dinner. The order was prepared significantly earlier than the scheduled pickup time (around 4:30 PM), which has also happened before with scheduled orders at this restaurant. When I called to ask about the timing, I was shown a restaurant receipt listing a "promised time" of 4:11 PM. I explained that 4:11 PM was the time I placed the order, not the scheduled pickup time. I was told to take the issue up with DoorDash and was directed to use their direct ordering system instead. When I arrived, I again explained the situation and was shown the same receipt. I asked to speak with a manager, but was told no manager would come out. During this interaction, I felt dismissed and disrespected. My concerns were not taken seriously, and I was met with unprofessional behavior, including being laughed at when I tried to explain that I was simply trying to get a fresh meal after working and spending nearly $70 on dinner for a special occasion. The lack of management involvement and the way the situation was handled felt unprofessional. My issue is not just the timing error, but how the situation was handled and how I was treated as a customer. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so scheduled pickup orders and customer concerns are handled more appropriately in the future.
