After reading the reviews for this shop I figured I'd give them a shot. I experienced firsthand what so many others have stated. The mechanics are first rate, honest, and efficient. They could have charged me a ridiculous amount for a rebuilt starter; however, Huu (sp?) told me to purchase one from the auto parts store and they would install it. He explained that if they get the stater, then it would only be warranted for 1 year and if I purchased it from the auto parts store it has a lifetime warranty. He replaced other parts that I asked him to and showed me why the part was making the noise that it was. I think I've found "my mechanic" and will continue to bring my car here for any repairs that are needed. read more

After numerous positive reviews about MP Auto, I decided to try them out for myself. I had them perform the 30K checkup on my daughter's 2015 Ford Fiesta. I called around to other shops in the area to get cost estimates and received amounts from $300 to $500. When I called MP Auto, I was told that the cost would depend on what they found after inspecting the vehicle. As it turned out, the only thing that needed to be replaced was the air filter and an oil change. In addition, I asked them to conduct a State Inspection. The entire bill was a little over $100. Their customer support was OUTSTANDING. The Manager kept me informed throughout the process and as a result I felt assured that no unnecessary work was being added to pad the bill. These guys are great!! Do not hesitate; you gotta go here for all your maintenance and repairs. Friendly, honest, family owned and operated business. Not the fanciest shop around, but why pay for the overhead? They replaced my complete Honda CRV A/C system in a day and a half at a very reasonable price; less than they quoted me!! This was the second time I had to do this, but not by them. Another shop ripped me off with cheap parts and shoddy workmanship that barely lasted beyond their warranty period...a repair that should have lasted many more years than it did. I picked this repair center based off yelp reviews. I'm so glad I did. We live out of state and our daughter lives near Arlington. She thought she had an oil leak due to shoddy service elsewhere, they were able to look at the same day and no leak found simple condensation from AC, they could have lied or invented something and we would have never known. Not only were they honest and throughly checked out the car it was at no cost. When I picked up the car I got to talk to one of the owners sons and he explained the history. Great family business. So I brought it in and he looked it over and gave me a quote and explained it to me very Thoroughly and he shopped around for the less expensive part.So I Brought my car in 2days later and they had my car fixed by noon and was in constant contact with me. Really great folks here. A friend got his car fixed here and they were fast and honest. I came here to get my high output alternator installed, but it turns out I bought the wrong one. While I'm here, they are changing the oil and transmission fluid. The oil change is $25 and the transmission fluid change is $40. great service. I have used this place for years and for multiple makes and models, and for fixes from a new A/C compressor, new wheel bearings, overheating issues, leaking intake gasket, etc etc. Hieu will never tell you that you need something fixed unless it really does need to be fixed. I second what Craig B. said, "this is the best and most honest auto repair around." Hung and one of his son's Hieu were very thorough in explaining to me what needed to be replaced and what quality brand parts they were going to use. I just found my go-to mechanic! When you find a good mechanic, you hold on to them for life. My experience here was amazing. I arrived at 8:30 on a Saturday with squeaking brakes; it was pretty obvious I needed a brake job. The owners son, Hiu was friendly and very informative wasting no time to make sure my time wasn't being wasted. He diagnosed the problem and explained line by line what parts were needed including costs and labor. Getting the parts was going to take over an hour so Hen, the other son, offered to drive me home instead of having me sit there waiting; of course I only live within a few miles of this place but still impressive. My brakes were repaired by 11:15, that's when they called me; yes they took the initiative to call me! My car was repaired in a reasonable amount of time and at a fair price. Car repairs are rarely inexpensive, but I felt confident paying what I payed after meeting them. They earned my trust and my brakes work better than ever! read more

The family that runs this shop is the most honest, respectful, and diligent that I have ever experienced concerning my car. They will work their hardest for the best price I have found in the area. I once came to them thinking I had an alignment and axle problem but they checked it out, explained that it was actually an issue with my tires, and then referred me to a tire shop nearby. NO CHARGE!! Another time my radiator cracked, they were able to find the piece I needed at a very low price and put it together for almost $150 cheaper than 3 previous places I had checked. I was doing some work on my car and we ended up getting a socket stuck on one of the lug nuts that would not budge. I called MP just before they closed on a Saturday, told them my situation and they told me to come by. They pulled my car in immediately and, with some clever ingenuity, were able to get the socket off without damaging the wheel. What's more is they wouldn't let me pay anything! They did it completely for free and I had never even been a customer there before! The guys at MP are top-notch, very professional and they really know what they are doing. I came in with an overheating engine, and was told I'd need a new motor, water tank, basically a new everything in my car. These guys weren't my first pick, my trusted mechanic was overwhelmed with customers and saw these guys had decent reviews. Yes, they are nice but trustworthy, no. When I got a second opinion on my car, I was told there was a leak in the water tank. That's it. So I had to put down $1600+ on a repair with these guys to fix a leaky water tank? My check engine light came on over the weekend so Monday morning I started calling local shops to see who could get it looked at same day. Hugh answered the phone and said he could look right now if I brought it up and was optimistic on an easy fix after hearing my description. Sure enough, he had my car in the bay and hooked up to a computer within 5 min of arriving at the shop. The computer said I had a loose gas cap. Hugh confirmed it was only loose and didn't need to be replaced and then reset the check engine light. NO BILL!!! They did a careful pre-sale inspection for me without any charge. They identified some critical problems,including fuel tank leakage that might cause fire. They warned me not to buy the car. There was no point to spend money to fix those problems that the dealer wouldn't want me to know. In another time I called them about fixing cross member assembly. But it was not a good experience as the first time. The guy on the phone was a bit rude and impatient. He simply told me they didn't give price on the phone. Then he told me they wouldn't fix cross member! So why not be more patient to let me finish describing the problem? This is nothing to do with their techniques of fixing cars. They should improve their service on the phone. read more
