The alarm console in my hallway repeatedly beeped every few hours for weeks, and despite calling…read moremultiple times, no one could tell me what was causing it. Each time, I was essentially told that nothing was wrong, even though the beeping clearly continued. At one point, I became so frustrated that I called simply to ask how to turn off the beeping. I have two young children in the house, and the noise was disruptive, especially when it would happen during the night. I was told there would be a charge just to show me how to turn off the beeping -- despite the fact that no one could explain why it was happening in the first place. The representative then told me someone would call me back within five minutes to walk me through how to shut it off. No one ever called. The lack of communication and customer service was incredibly frustrating. If your system is going to repeatedly beep for weeks, I expect the company to be able to identify the problem and provide a reasonable solution -- not tell me nothing is wrong and then charge me to stop the noise.

I initially requested a quote via Yelp's "project" panel, describing my issue and I had a next-day appointment secured with Greg by the end of the day! Based on my limited description of the issue, Greg was able to provide me with a thorough quote - actually 3 separate quotes for all the potential issues that might be causing my malfunction. Greg gave me a 2 hour time frame for the appointment and texted me early and showed up right on time at the beginning of the window - very prompt! He diagnosed and fixed my issue so quickly and even made sure my opener was lubricated appropriately and running even better than before - above and beyond! He doesn't try and push a bunch of unnecessary services or equipment on you - he's a real straight shooter and it was so refreshing! He was a joy to chat to and work with. And his prices just can't be beat - very reasonable! It's so rare nowadays to come away feeling satisfied with value for price - I was so impressed. Greg did explain that Yelp doesn't always notify him of quote requests and that texting is best for the fastest reply - which it does specify on his website (see attached photo). He also accepts all forms of payment - credit cards, checks, cash, and even Zelle or Venmo! They've recently relocated the business from Monrovia to Rancho Cucamonga - but the bulk of his clients are in Monrovia and he definitely still services this area - lucky for me lol! This is the second time we've used Greg and couldn't be happier with his services! The first time…read morewe called Greg, it was for a squeaky garage door, which he quickly fixed. This time, we reached out because of a grinding noise coming from near the motor. We reached out to Greg and another service we've used in the past. The other service told us we probably need a new motor because it's 18 years old and gave a couple quotes for replacement. Greg, on the other hand, scheduled time to take a look. He saw that the belt was wearing and said this could be the issue. He advised that the belt should have a lifetime warranty and to call Liftmaster to order new one. He provided me with the model number and even the phone number to call, explaining that garage door companies can no longer request the warranty for customers and we have to call in ourselves. Greg came out last Tuesday & said the belt would probably arrive on Friday. The call to Liftmaster was super easy and the belt arrived on Thursday! Greg said the plan would be to replace the belt. If that didn't work, we already discussed the Liftmaster model for replacement as we know the motor will need replacing soon. Greg said he'll bring the new motor just in case, and if the belt replacement doesn't fix the issue and we need to replace the whole motor, he won't charge us any extra labor. We scheduled Greg for today (Monday), and he installed the belt in no time! Fortunately, the replacement belt did the trick and the grinding noise was gone! This will buy us some time before needing to replace the motor. We couldn't be happier with Greg. First of all, he's a very nice & genuine guy. I'm sure he's busy but he still takes time to chat with you and answer all your questions -- he never seems in a hurry. Second, he's super knowledgeable and experienced. Lastly, he's always accommodating, prompt, and his prices are very reasonable. When we need any future garage-related services, there's no question that Greg is our guy!

So now to my experience I had talked to kenny on Tuesday of this week and asked him to give me a quote to fix some locks for 2 doors on my van plus I asked him to install a automatic unlock and lock for my van he quoted me and everything seemed perfect he told me he call me when he would get the piece and he would set me up on Friday. I got off the phone feeling relieved come Wednesday I heard nothing from him. So I called.him on Thursday. When I called he answered but there was a bad connection and he hung up. This wasnt bad because thinga like this happen sometimes and I understand that. Later on I tried calling and left a voicemail asking telling him about what we had agreed to and I wanted to see if everything was set for Friday, he didn't get back to me. I still wasnt to bothered by this because I figured he will call me when he has a chance. Latwr on during the day I sent him a text and told him about what we had talked about. I once again asked if he could let me know if we qhere still set for Friday, once again he didnt get back to me. Even though I hadn't heard from him I still cleared my morning on friday because I really needed to get this done on my van and I was hoping he would still come through. I called on Friday and still I heard nothing. I called again and I still heard nothing. Aftwr about 2 hours or so I left him a text and till now I have still heard absolutely nothing from him. Please dont waste your money or energy trying to use this person for your locksmith needs he may have the skills and when he wants he may provide good service but qhen he doeant want apparently he could care less about customer service or a customers needs. I would not want this situation to happen to you. If you are reading this kenny please work on your business skills and customer service skills alittle more.
