I really appreciated Ken's easy-going demeanor, and sensed zero interest in him trying to sell me a repair service that wasn't needed. Ken is just an honest guy offering his experienced opinion - in no doubt, putting yet another homeowners' unwarranted concerns to rest. Would be nice If all companies sent inspectors who operated the same way as Ken.

Every install was done with care and precision. After using the shower and the rest of the bathroom for over a month now, I have to say we are completely satisfied with all the work that they did. His guys were nice enough (which is why he's getting 2 stars) but most were only minimally competent, and Jesse only sent them to my house after they were done working at other peoples' houses, sometimes late in the evening. Days and even weeks went by without any work getting done. I have a long list of screw-ups that Jesse refused to fix, including leaving an electrical box hanging loosely off a wall (see photo), making no attempt to match stucco pattern (see photo), not trimming a door and window, ripping the screen of my brand new window, gluing shut a clean-out valve. You've been warned.

I rearranged my schedule twice to accommodate them during what was already an exceptionally difficult time, as I was preparing to say goodbye to my 16-year-old dog that weekend. Chris did arrive on Friday as promised, but a week has now passed and I have received neither a bid nor any follow-up communication from anyone at the company. Shortly after the appointment, their Thumbtack profile was also removed or hidden. While I can't say why, the timing was odd, as it prevented me from leaving a review on the platform where we originally connected. I've uploaded screenshots with this review documenting the interaction, including Chris's last-minute cancellation, his offer of a 5% discount, and the Thumbtack notification showing the company was no longer available on the platform. It was a shiplap wall with a 10' shelf. Although a smaller project he tackled it in the same way he does every job - with precision to detail on every aspect. Our last project was a 10' wall with lower cabinets as well as 2' upper cabinets on the left and right leaving area in the middle to accommodate a large tv. Steve is a true craftsman that is proficient in his skills and gives 100% to each job. We highly recommend Steve.

But he did it, and from the pictures you can see that he did it with beauty and style! If you have an easy or difficult job, Steve will make sure it's done well and done right. We would never call anyone else.

I I renovated my kitchen and installed new flooring. I met with a lot of contractors and eventually decided to work with Hans and MPH Construction. He has a good eye for design and recommended ways to improve my kitchen that never would have occurred to me. He also assisted with material selection, and customized the cabinetry to accommodate several angled walls in my kitchen. His recommendations maximized the space functionally and aesthetically which will definitely increase the resale value of my home. He was sensitive to my budget and his quote was very reasonable. The project itself came in on budget and on time, and he did not charge me for any change orders for custom work on the cabinetry that was not identified until the middle of the project. He also texted or called me every day to let me know who would be working at my home, so there were no surprises. He cares about customer service. As construction is a work in progress, there were a few minor items I noticed that I wasn't satisfied with during the project. When I brought them to his attention, he said "No problem, I want you to be happy and to love your new kitchen." He quickly fixed them to my satisfaction. After interviews with 7 general contractors Hans came in the 2nd cheapest but convinced me that he knows exactly what we wanted and can do the job. The job he did was full of positive surprises: 1. His team was very professional, quick and clean. 2. He was always attainable. He answers phones and text messages every time. 3. He delivers everything he promised 4. He delivers more than he promised. 5. He promised he would finish the job in two weeks and he finished exactly as he promised. 6. So we believe that he really knows what he is doing. 7. With good price and excellent quality I asked him why so many people quoted more expensive than him his answer was pretty down to earth: "Royce, because I know this business inside out I know exactly will cost me to do the job and I know how much I want to make......People quoted higher than me because they might be kind greedy or don't know the job." Hans and the MPH Construction team did a fabulous job remodeling our downstairs; kitchen, dining room and fireplace, powder room and downstairs flooring. Hans strategized and worked with us to help us maximize everything so we stayed in budget. Our home looks amazing and I love the way it feels. When you work with Hans its like having a construction expert and a bit of style and design guru all in one. He has a good sense of taste and knows what looks good. At all times I was the customer but when I asked him what he thought he told me and his suggestions were always topnotch. We entertained recently and someone asked me if I had it to do over again what would I do differently. My answer was I'm completely satisfied I wouldn't do a thing different. I have no regrets and I love it. I just wish I'd have found Hans sooner, it took talking with dozens of people to find the right contractor. This is an overdue review, but i wanted to wait at least 6 months to write out a full review!…read more It was my first time renovating anything. I wanted to redo the inside of my entire house (yes, EVERY inch) and didn't know who to work with. I was given quotes that were 3-4x my budget and had a contractor pull out of the project 2 weeks before my scheduled demolition. I got super discouraged until i found Frame Build & Design. They were able to work with what I had and made my experience very enjoyable. They provided me a rendering of what the inside of my house would theoretically look like, and I can confidently say that it looks pretty darn close to the pictures! I'm so pleased with how all my cabinets & fixtures turned out. I appreciate Idan for answering all my questions and dealing with my complaints. He was patient with me and would send a guy over to fix or add things that I wanted (like outlets on the ceiling for my speakers, patching holes, etc). He went above and beyond to get permits for renovating, be there for city inspections, and keeping me posted on progress. I will say however that if you are planning to hire this team, you will need to be hands on. This means being involved in EVERY decision! I had to pick out all my materials on my own to match the rendering provided in the beginning. FB&D provided some locations I could check out, but it required a lot of research on my end. It felt overwhelming as a first time home owner, but this is pretty normal from what I understand. FB&D had an interior designer on this project and she was a HUGE help in decision making. There's no perfect contractor. Yes there were some communication issues and yes there were some imperfections. Yes it took 2x my timeline. What renovation doesn't? But ultimately the FB&D team were very accommodating with my feedback and gave me my DREAM home. And I can say 7 months into living here, everything is still holding up great and nothing has broken! I highly recommend hiring them for your next project! They did a great job. I ultimately went over budget but that's totally expected (and totally on me)! Thank you Frame Build & Design!

He asked me very detailed questions that I hadn't thought about yet. I knew that he was detail-oriented and that he was already invested in my project even though I hadn't given him the go-ahead. I planned to do a room addition, which required an architect and getting those plans approved by the city. He took care of all the back and forth so that my focus could be on other aspects of the project. I had walls knocked down, a window put in, and new walls built. I added some aesthetic upgrades, which he took care of quickly. Daniel always responded quickly anytime I reached out to him. I was never stressed about the project, and he made sure to stop by regularly to look at the work that was done. He even noticed things that I hadn't and made sure the crew came back to correct them. Daniel is the lead that you want handling your project. I highly recommend him and his team and would use him again.

He was also very detail oriented and when we brought up a couple minor things that needed to be fixed, he quickly responded and had his team adjust. We had a kitchen remodel done by this company. It was quite extensive with the tear down of a wall,…read moreplumbing and gas relocation, removal of a window and taking out the soffit. All trades were very respectful and did good work. We always knew when somebody was coming and around what time. There were no big surprises on cost changes. They warned us after removal of soffit there could be things that may cost more and there were. There were tons of communication wires that needed to be removed we didn't know were there. Water pex pipe had to be moved, etc. so we understood the extra cost. We love our kitchen and would recommend them! The cabinets are great, trim work is great, inside and outside window installation and stucco repair were done very well. Electrical and plumbing contractors were top notch. The only thing that needed a little improvement was the backsplash tile amount calculation. We had to order more twice! It was a good thing the material was fairly easy to get in Anaheim. The only thing I would call out is that you need to go a bit further in detailing the bid so that expectations are in sync on both sides. I felt that part of my experience could have been better if I had just talked to both Eddie and Ronnie to put in the details I wanted before starting the project so that alignment wasn't confusing through the project.
