    Hoisin in rooster bottle.

Pretty good bowl of pho. Got the combo (minus the tripe) and an order of egg rolls. The broth had good flavor and the egg rolls were nice and crispy. Asked for more hoisin and it came out in a Rooster bottle so that is pretty legit Asian . Waiter sounded like he should be working in the neighboring Italian restaurant so that added some color to the experience. Menu not like other Vietnamese restaurants in So Cal but if you're craving a bowl of pho, it hits the spot.

This is the Pho Special with extra meat.

Second time in this joint, and as of now... No complaints. The server was very kind, and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As for the ambiance, can't complain either.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The older man behind the bar seemed to be training the younger gentlemen that were seating and serving the customers. He's attentive to his business and isn't rude to customers unlike the other pho place by Bashas. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance: Casual, Simple & Clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service: Very Prompt, Friendly & Consistent. Ordering: Easy & Accommodating (I have Food Allergies) Drinks: Ordered Cafe Sua Da which was strong and sweet, but not too sweet...just right. $6 Side Note the water is good! Appetizers: Spring Rolls (Guoi Cuon) Pork & Shrimp had mild but an unexpected soft Mint flavor which made them quite enjoyable. $7 Entree: Pho Tai Beef added Shrimp was so yummy. The Broth was amazing without all the 5 Spice (which we enjoy more). The Noodles had great texture, flavor was a little pastry but still edible. We ordered extra Cilantro and was given an ample amount with a smile. Overall: we will be back!

We were craving for the Vietnamese food and we found this place. Customer service is good and the place is clean. Food: I would not come back. I would try different Vietnamese restaurant in the area if I come back to Flagstaff. The food is ok. We got hu tiếu nam vang and Egg roll vermicelli, both meat in the noddle and egg roll are not fresh. You can smell the old meat smell. Pho is okay. The price is so over price for the quality.

Their pho with beef tendon was just average--not the most flavorful, but not bad either. The service was inconsistent.

SO good. A little hole in the wall with authentic food. The pho has a very good flavor.

Decent Pho place in Flag. Other places do not compare: price wise or value wise. Try the spring rolls.

I dined in during COVID and they were following the COVID guidelines. Their food was AMAZING! This is my favorite place in Flag to get pho.

Their pho is not good. And the service is horrible. It was around 5 pm on Sunday and only 4 people around. Definitely not coming back.

We popped in on a Monday morning hoping to score some great grub and we certainly found some! Cubano ($20.95) - Starting with the bread - it's really fluffy, not toasted or pressed as with usual cubanos. Unfortunately, it's probably a little too light for the sandwich because some parts get mushy from being soaked in all the dijonnaise. The dijonnaise is very sweet, creamy with a mustardy zing. I think they add a bit too much, making the sandwich more fatty and messy to eat than I like (not to mention what I stated before about it soaking into the bread). The meat is fantastic. Both porchetta and ham are griddled on the flat top, giving them a developed and concentrated edge. The ham is to the point of being like country ham, while the porchetta still has great seasoned porky flavor. I believe they griddle the swiss cheese alongside the meat. It melts and crisps up into a cheese skirt, adding a fantastic texture to the sandwich. There's a lot of crinkle cut pickles underneath the meat, but it's not enough acid to cut through all that fat. Sandwiches come with a side of house chips. They are fried until a darker golden brown color, but aren't burnt. This gives a great kettle chip-like crunch. Even with different sized chips, they are very evenly fried with all chips being the same texture. They are salted the perfect amount. (4/5) Aleppo Pepper Pastrami sub Tomato Soup ($22.75) - This place is famous for their pastrami, and I can tell the quality. It's cooked on the griddle until it develops crisp edges. It's fatty, but the fat is rendered so there are no chewy and leathery parts. The meat is extremely tender and thinly sliced. It's honestly almost like bacon in texture, but the taste is completely different, with the exterior spices and pepper making a huge impact along with the rich concentrated meatiness inside. The bread is a nice toasted sourdough, not strongly sour in flavor, but definitely noticeable. The bottom slice is slathered with plenty of nopales studded cream cheese. It's added in a large amount and is an extremely creamy and fatty substance yet somehow doesn't overwhelm the sandwich. It's warm but not melty. The nopales are clearly there but I didn't find it to contribute much. The pastrami is layered on top of that followed by a ton of sweet brown caramelized onions that are very tender. An entire green chile, roasted and super smoky, is above that. Finally, aleppo mustard is spread on the top slice of bread. Between the green chile and the aleppo, there's a slight warmth that tinges the sandwich. It's nothing too spicy. Instead of chips, we opted to sub the Tomato Soup (no fee). It's very homestyle, full of tomato richness in a thick blend. It has a strong tangy tomato essence. There's basil oil drizzled on top for a boost of freshness. The soup is unfortunately quite a bit too acidic for my tastes, but that's only by itself! While very acidic, the soup is actually great as a balance to the sandwich (along with the pickle of course) since there's so much richness and fat coming in between the bread. (5/5) Proper Meats + Provisions definitely serves some great sandwiches. We were considering visiting again for our 2 full days in Flagstaff, but weren't able to make it because they close so early at 6!
